As soon as I walked in, I instantly felt at home with the relaxing vibe and gorgeous décor. I was in need of a good deep tissue massage, considering I am consistently in the gym and I do weight training. So a good massage is very beneficial. My massage therapist, Renee was awesome. Before the session we went over what the massage will entail, as well as I was able to choose my aromatherapy oil for the appointment. He also inquired on what muscle groups I would like to focus on, me personally I wanted all the muscle groups focused on, due to my strenuous total body workouts. When I say that Renee did not disappoint, he massaged out all the kinks, including to focus on my quads and calves. Not to mention he paid attention to the pressure points in my feet. Mind you I commute regularly to DC via the Marc train so I am constantly on the go. That foot massage was heavenly. The massage was so great I already booked my next two visits. I am so glad that I finally was able to have a service done here at Honey&Co. They have a permanent customer in me from now on. After further review of my haircut, I noticed that I had a "shelf" where it should've been tapered smoothly. I was able to fix it myself at home. Came in and asked for the deluxe pedicure with gel polish. Gel polish looks fine. Whatever. The pedicure itself was not worth the nearly $70 (not including the tip!) I was charged. She scrubbed the fuck out of my one leg and hardly scrubbed the other. All she did was slather my legs in a thick layer of lotion and barely rubbed it in. Then she asked if I wanted my toenails clipped. Duh? Of course I want them cut; they were long! I tell her yes. She clarifies. "Do you want me to cut them all the way down?" Yes. Please. I get home and feel pain in my toes. I look. She barely cut any of my nails off, and most she left most of my toes with sharp edges that were digging into my skin! I'm diabetic. I physically cannot afford to get foot injuries. So i had to cut my nails myself. Now everything looks like shit but at least I'm not in the running for multiple ingrown toes or in pain. These nail places rarely ever take accountability for their shortcomings and mistakes. Fuck this place.

I didn't want acrylic so we tried this instead since I keep breaking nails with just gel polish as I'm unintentionally rough on my hands. I always get major compliments on my nails after getting them done. I really love that everyone is masked and the place is never packed, making it easy to not be close to anyone while waiting. Everyone here is very nice from the time you walk in from the time you leave. I plan to keep coming to get my nails done and may even branch out for my eyebrows and lashes.
