If I could give the massage I had with Derrick 50 stars I would. I've been searching for a good massage therapist in baltimore county for months and hit the jackpot at bodywork massage studios. I got the 1hr deep tissue massage and Derrick released the tension from muscles I didn't even realize I had. I have chronic lower back pain, ankle tendonitis, and knee pain. Derrick was very attentive to these areas/injuries. After my massage I felt my entire lower back relax and release. I was ready for bed as soon as I left the studio. The business itself is a little challenging to see if you're driving at night - but if you pass Snazzy Jazzy dog grooming you've gone too far. There is ample parking in the back lot. During the massage Derrick had soothing relaxation music playing in the background. The space overall was very comfortable and smelled pleasant. Derrick was professional, communicative and super attuned to my comfort level during the massage. I'll definitely be back. read more

Derrick was extremely professional and a wonderful massage therapist! I am a server, and before I came in, I had very tense, shoulders - with multiple knots in my back. Derrick was gifted enough in his craft, to gage the level of tenseness in my muscles, and judge the amount of pressure to apply. Amazing! There's a reason every review is 5 stars. when I first moved here I was used to getting massages fairly regularly because I get a lot of knots and tension in my neck and down into my shoulder. I used a Groupon and went to a different massage place and they somehow made my pain worse and not because they were actually digging in to get my knots out. I was discouraged and went without getting any massages for over a year because I didn't want to waste more money or be in another situation where the masseuse didn't know what they were doing. Fast forward to today and thank God I trusted the fellow yelp reviews and decided I'd give this place a try. Derrick was so knowledgeable and wasn't shy about getting into my knots and working them out (I got the deep tissue). I left feeling AMAZING. I called this morning (monday) and he fit me in and did amazing work.
