I got the 1hr deep tissue massage and Derrick released the tension from muscles I didn't even realize I had. I have chronic lower back pain, ankle tendonitis, and knee pain. Derrick was very attentive to these areas/injuries. After my massage I felt my entire lower back relax and release. I was ready for bed as soon as I left the studio. The business itself is a little challenging to see if you're driving at night - but if you pass Snazzy Jazzy dog grooming you've gone too far. There is ample parking in the back lot. Of course the pain isn't completely gone after one treatment, but it is low enough that my motion doesn't feel restricted. I also haven't had a spasm since the session. Donna is also a musician and provides piano and guitar lessons. She has been giving lessons to children and adults for over 40 years. She is patient with stubborn students and has a great sense of humor about the challenges of learning how to play an instrument. Donna gave me one of the best massages I've ever had. She was attentive, took her time to listen and see exactly what was bothering me and then focused only where I wanted her to massage for the entire hour. I was 80% better at the end of the massage and 100% better the next day. In addition to the excellent massage I found the whole experience very calming. The Center was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and had a very homey feeling. This was a very refreshing experience as the only other place I had gone for a massage in town was at an overpriced, uptight day spa where I felt rushed and had a terrible massage..
