Michele has been able to alleviate a lot of my neck and back pain. She gives the best massages I've gotten, ever! I see Sarah for facials, she does a great job. She gives phenomenal recommendations. My skin has never looked better than it has since I started seeing her. I'm someone who hates sitting still, but she keeps me occupied the whole time, she's wonderful to talk to for the hour I'm in there. Before you go to a Massage Envy or Hand and Stone, support a small business and give them a try!

I visited yesterday for the first time after receiving a 90 minute massage via Groupon. I paid an…read moreextra $25 to upgrade to deep tissue. My massage was okay. I am not sure if the therapist was new but the massage felt choppy and there wasn't really a flow to certain movements. While doing my feet I am not sure if she used a tool or her nails but someone felt sharp along my toes. After I left, my one toe keeps getting a sporadic "shock" feeling to it. I am not sure if it has a cut or it is something else as a result of the massage. When you walk in to the office it is completely overwhelming with stuff everywhere. There were a million signs on the wall, sticky notes showing stuff for sale, clipboards hanging off the wall with forms on them, etc. Half of the signs indicated stuff that was already acknowledged in the waiver. Even the stairway to the office has numerous signs. The table in their common area where I used the bathroom was piled with items. Typically spas have a serene and non-cluttered environment but this was not it. I am not inclined to return.

Julie #1 in the Maryland area for me and ranks in the Top 3 of anyone I've used. If I had the choice of getting a massage from any practitioners I know in the Maryland area - I'd choose Julie. I highly recommend her reflexology as well. She's one of the only massage therapists that's able to put me to sleep as well - and the massage is so great that when I wake every so slightly I say to myself "stay awake - I want to be awake because this feels so amazing"! I leave feeling completely refreshed. By the way - her prices are also amazingly low.

I've always wanted to try a head spa, so I decided to check out Bliss Esthetics when I saw they…read morewere running a head spa and mini facial special. I'm glad I read reviews beforehand because finding the spa is a bit tricky. The entrance is in the back of the building, very hole-in-the-wall style. You have to walk up the stairs and ring a doorbell to be let in. The woman who performed my service was very friendly and made sure to check in with me throughout, especially about water temperature and pressure, which I appreciated. The head spa experience itself was nice and relaxing, and the facial was okay as well. However, once my hair fully dried, it was quite greasy at the roots. Personally, my hair felt similar to my "day 3 of no hair washing and using dry shampoo" type hair. As for the facial, my skin ended up feeling dry afterward with some peeling, even though I noted on the intake form that I have dry, sensitive skin and that my skin goals were hydration. Overall, the experience was interesting, but I feel like the spa missed the mark a bit. It was a decent first experience not knowing what to expect at a head spa, but I would imagine at the very least, my hair would look/feel clean.

She went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and didn't pressure me into making a decision. Honestly the cryotherapy was somewhat painful on the side of my face that doesn't have much fat, but I do see a difference. I can't wait to see how my jawline looks after a few weeks after my body has flushed out some of the dead fat cells. I would definitely schedule a second treatment.

In the days leading up to the massage, I have some questions regarding the website and booking. Genice was very quick to respond and thoroughly answered my questions.
