A woman stepped in front of the gentleman who was settling the bill and told that I must tip more than I tipped and demanded me to tip at least 20%. I asked the woman who didn't identify herself to me "Are telling me the paying customer how much I have to tip?" She said "yes". So beware of this business practice that will I'm sure close the business down. I am a repeat customer of dozens of visits. I am an African American who is respectful and peaceful. I felt taken advantage of by the woman who demanded a higher tip because I was drained from a 30 minute massage and too relaxed to challenge her. When I arrived home I still didn't get over what I experienced. I am now going with another Spa from here on.

The office itself is a bit confusing to get to, but thankfully the office texts with specific directions on how to get inside, and there is lots of signage to make sure you end up in the right place. Once inside, I had to wait about 10 minutes past my appointment time to be taken into the back. During this time one of the masseuses walked by carrying her dog, so that was a bit strange and made me question the sanitary conditions of the offices. Once walked back to my room, they told me to undress except for my underwear and lay on the table, then they left. The masseuse was knocking on the door 30 seconds later, so I felt a bit rushed and stressed, but she waited for confirmation to come in. She asked if I prefer medium or hard pressure, and I also let her know some areas I would like extra attention on. She made sure to focus on those areas and worked quickly for the 30 min massage. At some points she was up on the table straddling my head with her legs, which was weird. She also adjusted my underwear to be lower when she applied lotion to my back and didn't say anything beforehand, so it felt a bit uncomfortable because I didn't know what she was doing. In general it wasn't necessarily a bad experience, but there were some things that shocked me a bit. For the low price, I would still consider returning.

When mine started with my neck and began my head I put my hand up and asked her not to massage my head and upper neck. She said ok. She didn't listen and I had to tell her several more times to stop. The neck/shoulder massage was extremely choppy with no rhythm. My head was bobbing from side to side. After turning over, I again said to not massage my neck, she said ok. She started and kept telling me to relax. I told her to stop bc it hurt and she failed to listen to me. After saying stop and shrugging my shoulders up, she finally stopped. She asked if she could massage my face and I said no, she took some towel or sheet or something and it whacked my arm. In hindsight, I should have stopped the massage all together for myself. My boyfriend said during his massage, it felt as though he was being beat-up the entire time and at one point felt the person kneeling on his back. Needless to say, this was my experience and not at all what I was expecting as so many people had positive things to say. I was very disappointed and will not be back. Tipping is also voluntarily, don't expect it!
