All was well until the massages started. If they find a knot, they continue to focus on that for more of the massage. Which took away for a full body experience. What was done on one side of my body was not the same on the other. And since there were to two of them in they room, they chattered/whispered a lot. I like to doze off but couldn't do so due to the constant chatter and loud whispering. I wouldn't recommend this for a couples massage and they can focus on other areas of the body to give it a full body experience.

Regina was great at asking the specific things we wanted to learn in our session with her. we both got an hour learning to massage the other and she wanted to tailor her teaching to our specific desires and needs. now, my husband and I have had couples massages (where we are next to each other) and individual massages before, but I honestly cannot put into words how wonderful it was to feel like I was getting a professional massage... from my husband. and to also know that I was learning how to massage him in ways that applies enough pressure safely (and I say that because she taught me how to do thai massage on his lower back). it was truly a beautiful bonding experience between us and something we can continue to use!! we actually plan on buying a massage table now and going back in a few months to learn more from Regina!! go see this woman immediately!!!!!! if you implement what she teaches you, I guarentee it can change your life :)

I was here by myself and…read moreunclothed under a sheet in the massage room when I heard a male yell into the establishment something I couldn't understand and then my masseuse came in to do what could've been a very damaging back massage (digging into my back, straining ligaments?). I've had many massages, but this one tops them all. Upon entering the Studio I immediately felt relaxed. The decor, music and atmosphere were very relaxing. I completed the new client paper work then we headed to the massage room. The room was just as relaxing as the front room. The entire studio was open, clean and fresh. Now onto Bill himself. Excellent masseur through and through. Prior to starting the massage Bill and I sparked a little conversation; which for some can ease nervousness dealing with a new massage therapist. Bill is easy to chat with and helpful with random information (i.e. I'm heading to San Francisco and he recommended some places for me to check out; which I plan to do). He's definitely fantastic at what he does. His expertise allowed my session to be relaxing and enjoyable. He stressed the open line of communication which was very important to me so that I may communicate my likes and dislikes (side-note... no dislikes). He applied the perfect amount a pressure needed to work some of my most tender muscles as well as explained various things during our session. Because my muscles are very tense he stretched my legs in a way that allowed for a little more flexibility for a short time (need more stretching for better longer lasting flexibility). When my session was over Bill explained some things I can do on my own to stretch my most tense areas. Bill took the time to write down some things I should look up to relieve a lot of tension. I was very eager to schedule another session with Bill and so I did. I'm looking forward to my next session and other near future sessions. I'm definitely spreading the word about the William John Massage Studio.
