Not a good massage at all. I do not know where this lady got her training, but there were many key parts of my body. I told her what I wanted worked on and all she did was ignore them. Maybe part of the problem was the very poor English that she spoke. She spent most of the time just rubbing my back very little time on the legs and shoulders. I explained my dissatisfaction with the people at the front and they were very sorry to hear this and said we will have the manager call you. This was on Saturday, today is Friday. Obviously they don't care because they know I'm not coming back. And I won't because they show no concern for how their customers left there. read more

I came to get a nice massage for my night off from dealing with life but right as I walk in there was a very unwelcoming staff staring at you. A man that was working there looked my body up and down and I didn't take that very well, that was ridiculous just alone. As I walked in all star kept saying "can I help you" "can I help you" as if they were fighting on who gets to get me set up. It was very unpleasant. After that whole jumble I finally got one person talking to me who had an attitude and started asking me personal and rude questions such as I think you need to go to the hair salon and ask for a refund and are you on your period which I thought was disrespectful. There is no excuses for this. As I got into position to have a relaxing massage a loud beeping sound went on warning that my time has started and that when the beeping comes again you are to immediately leave or you will have to pay extra. That was not a great start. As my massage lady came in, she seemed nice and introduced herself and then when she started, she started to scream questions like , "SO ARE YOU SINGLE" and all sorts of questions I was trying to relax too which was a struggle at that point. Towards the end of my massage, she slapped my back as hard as she could, she told me is gives the extra tingle as you leave, I did not appreciate that. As I was leaving I felt bad not giving a tip, even though it was a horrible experience, I gave two dollars, meanwhile an employee came up to me and asked for me to put more and explained that she gets the tips from then until a time that day and that she's broke and she needed money. I obviously didn't give more. I feel as if I am not safe in the place. I am done with it and never coming back ever again. read more

I have been getting massages at Elements Massage now for a year. Their online appointment scheduler is very easy to use and quite convenient, since I can use it at any time to book a massage. They utilize texting to confirm the appointment ahead of time. And the massages are wonderful. I have lower chronic back issues and I can say with certainty that massages are extremely beneficial. Just had a massage with Denise. I have a lot of muscle tightness as I am a dance teacher/studio owner/mom with fibromyalgia. It usually takes much more than an hour for me to get sufficient benefit but they only had one hour appointments available. I usually see another massage therapist who I absolutely love but I knew I needed someone to use maximum pressure to really dig in there today so I went with the receptionist's suggestion. I'm so glad I did. Denise is absolutely BRILLIANT! She is so incredibly knowledgeable and gifted. She used a variety of techniques to treat multiple problem areas and gave me things I could do at home. When my massage was over, I stood up with NO PAIN. I've had several massages at different places and this was a different experience. I was able to receive a massage with hot stones for the first time ever and it was amazing. I had Jess and even though she was gentle to touch as I love I felt the massage was rushed. I didn't get the overall feeling as I do with most massages so I'm 50/50 on my experience. Purchased a Massage for my Fiancé as a birthday surprise. He has never had a massage before so wasn't quite sure how it would go for him. And all I can say is that afterwards, all day it is all he talked about. Sharon was awesome as well as every single staff member we came in contact with. From the time I scheduled the appointment online to the time we left ...everyone was kind professional and made sure any questions we had they answered. They even wished him a happy birthday upon arrival and also when we left. Customer service and attention to detail is on point!!! This experience with them is older, but the only one I have. I had been scheduling an appointment for a massage as I had a lot of muscle tightness. I have fibromyalgia and MS so that happens and massage is one of the things that works well. Their online scheduler was easy to use and I was pleasantly surprised they had a late afternoon opening that day. (This was before COVID was a thing). A few hours later I was just getting ready to head out for my appointment when I received a phone call from them. They said they didn't have an appointment available until 3 weeks later. If there had been an explanation as to why the appointment I booked was not available it would have been better, but according to the person who called the online booking doesnt actually show what's open. That's not what the website says. For me that was a total turn off. I have not called or tried to schedule since then. I wouldn't even have bothered with this review, but I received an email from them about wanting to hear from their customers. read more

I had a girl named Jess. The entire time she was rushing...she ran into her own stool a few times, and was moving so fast I could hear her heavy breathing the entire time. I would finally feel relaxed then she would shake me. She did many uncomfortable, abrupt movements. I could tell she was rushing because she would lose her hand placement and jerk my body around. I've been here many times before and it has never been that bad. I had a group of 3 people, and I finished way before them and before my hour was over. I scheduled an appointment with the only therapist that has ever listened to what I needed and done a decent job of meeting those needs. As an aside, I t's funny how they always ask what brings me in at the beginning of every session, but never really do anything with that information. Back to the main issue, I arrived for my scheduled appointment only to see a different therapist come out to get me. When I asked the front desk why they had switched without telling me, they didn't know. I understand that things happen and therapist can become unavailable. But they need to call clients and ask if they want to switch to another. They can't just assume that's Ok. There is a reason why I picked the other therapist. read more

Let me just start by saying I've been a massage therapist for years, and I know what a great massage is! The decor is simple, yet elegant. Some wellness centers and spas have tons of products out front, and their priority is to sell you stuff you don't need. But, let me tell you: Elements only needs to sell one thing, massage, and that's because it's the best product around. My therapist listened attentively to all of the issues I was experiencing, and tailored every part of the massage to what I needed. This was not a cut-and-dry massage; she used firmer and more specific pressure where I had adhesions, and gentler pressure where I was having painful flare-ups. The lotion amount that was used provided a perfect amount of glide, but not so much that she was slipping off my muscles. Even with the amount of pain I was in before I got on her table, the care and attention that went into my massage helped me relax to the point of falling asleep. Since it was my first time, it was only $59! They explained that normally their price is $99, so I got a huge deal. I felt like their prices are well worth the service, and as far as both price and quality are concerned, they're the best in the area. Plus, they give you chocolate at the end! read more

Called for a same day appointment- because it was my first time at an elements, an hour massage was $60 rather than $100. If I had to pay $100 I would have been very disappointed. My massage therapist talked too much during the session and it was difficult to relax. But she was knowledgable and friendly and had decent pressure. I've received several excellent, deep-tissue, high-strength massages here- but as with all other multiple-therapist clinics, your experience will vary with therapist!! I was offered an initial choice of a strong-armed person vs a more "relaxation" therapist-- I chose strong arm, and glad I did! This is smaller than the Massage Envy that used to be there, but each room is a bit larger. They have some kinks in their booking system- the front desk staff has complained to me the software is glitchy!! Otherwise good massage, good price, right by my gym- can't complain!! read more

I went with this location because of the great deal for first time clients ($40 off!). My goodness, I'm glad I did. I could go on and on about this massage but I will sum it up with this: I fell asleep during the massage. It was that good and relaxing. The therapist listens to concerns, explains her plan, and checks in with you during the process. Clean, friendly, great service. It was so relaxing I forgot the name of my massage therapist but I think it was Jen. She was fantastic and checked in afterwards and explained what she discovered about my shoulder and neck pain. I had called to make an appointment for my boyfriends birthday today and was not told over the phone at any time that there would be a cancellation fee. I then called back over an hour before my appointment to let her know that he can not make it and she told me that there is a $15 cancellation fee and proceeded to tell me that its "normally" $25 after she never told me that over the phone and we spoke 3 times because there was a time change with my appointment. She then told me that i could have seen that there was a cancellation fee from the website..... when i had booked my appointment over the phone. Just lost 2 customers who get massages all the time over $15. read more

I can't comment on their massages, simply their booking process/customer service. I had booked a prenatal massage online and when I showed up to my appointment at 11am they claimed to have "sent me a voicemail" (I had no voicemails, no missed calls, and no emails from them) but the massage therapist their booking system matched me with when I registered for a prenatal massage online apparently does not do prenatal massages. They told me I could come back at 6:30pm for a massage with someone else. Beware when booking online here. read more

The experience was eh. They push you to join their membership program, even mid massage. Did not appreciate that. My massage therapist was friendly and listened to my requests. But why did I have to explicitly ask her to massage my lower back!?? It was obvious she didn't read any of the forms I filled out. I indicated that my back was the area in most need, and that I would like my glutes and head to be included in the massage. As I said, I had to ask for the back. And I had to ask for glutes. She never touched my head or face even after if asked. It was apparent that she wasn't very experienced. I understand everyone has to start somewhere, but when spending a lot of money it's a bit frustrating to have someone so unsure. She bumped the stool and the table many times, broke contact many times. I had to ask to have my feet covered and her draping was not good overall. Next time I won't be visiting a chain like this. Not a spa atmosphere at all, there's not even an area to chill and drink water for a few minutes after massage. Felt kind of hustled. read more

This is probably the best massage I ever had but I felt i been cheated on my time. My regular customer friend brought me to this massage place yesterday as she was trying to promote it, she even had me her preferred massage therapist.The massage therapist given me a great massage BUT she cut the time 18 mins short in my one hour session. So we arrived at Element exactly 645 pm for 7pm session. we checked-in, did a paper work, went to the room and discussed some health concerns with massage therapist before she start. Right before I lay to the massage bed, it was 7:08 at their clock and the massage therapist stopped at 7:50 at their clock. I did not say some because im a bit confused why she stopped early. After I put back clothes back on, I went to their lobby as I thought my friend waiting for me there 'cause we check-in at the same time and she was not done yet. So I waited for more than 18 mins then she got out and I told her about this. I was not complaining last night as my friend paid for it, but if im paying for it I better be getting all those mins back. This post could be 5 star if the massage therapist did my time right. 3 star for Massage Element. read more

This was very much a chain, like massage envy, which is fine if you just want a massage, but not if you want a relaxing experience. The waiting area was more like a dentist waiting room than a spa. The whole time I was waiting for my massage, she kept pestering me about joining, and when I finally convinced her I wasn't interested, she was flat out rude.
