We have a "usual" pizza spot, but we didn't want to wait the 1 1/2 hours for delivery. So, we decided to try Napoli in Sherman Oaks. The menu looked good. We ordered pizza, the buffalo mozzarella salad and brussel sprouts. The pizza had a beautiful thin crust, however, it had too much sauce, scant amount of cheese and they forgot the prosciutto I ordered and payed for on my half. I was so surprised based on some of the other pizza reviews. The salad came with probably en entire bag of arugula which was such a huge waste, the tomatoes were old and the skin was wrinkled and the mozzarella was eh. The brussel sprouts were okay, So, overall, I have to say we were very disappointed with our meal and won't be ordering again. We threw half the pizza away that we didn't eat. Too bad. It's always nice to have a back-up pizza place. update 4/16/21 Bonus points for Napoli since Leila called to apologize and see if there is anything they can do to make up for what happened. Amazing! amazing! pizza. Many varieties and our fave is the eggplant pizza - 5 stars. It's insanely fresh with very generous portions. Wood fire grilled. Meatball sandwich was good - 4 stars. Literally my go to place for pizza. Don't get me wrong, I order through other retail pizza stores too but if I want pizza that's just AAA level and I want to support local businesses I order through Napoli's. Pizza is like I said one of the best tasting pizzas I've had. Toppings are plentiful and the dough is just oh so amazing. Pasta is always good too. The sauce is always plentiful and the their white sauce is just creamy and delicious. Definitely try this place out you won't regret it. Finally decided to try this place. Cute little joint with a dining area. The staff was very nice and fast! I ordered half mushroom and half pepperoni pizza and mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks were delicious! I would rate them 5 out of 5! So make sure to grab some when you go in! The pizza was OK. I would rate it a 3 out of 5. The crust was perfect but the rest was just way to soggy. Another issue I had was that it was so greasy, I had to pat it down to get the grease off. read more

Over the last couple of years, this is easily become my favorite pizza place. I usually order through Postmates , which obviously is a little more expensive but I know that way I can order delivery. I had a large party of people over not long ago and I wanted pizza from here so I called to place an order and I was informed that I am just outside of their delivery range. I am mad at myself for forgetting the guys name but he made the exception, took my order and got my food here earlier than expected even though they weren't sure if they could. Everything was absolutely fantastic. I did have one person at my house that has a gluten allergy and ordered a special pizza. The initial delivery had that one pizza prepared incorrectly. I called them they quickly rectified the situation remade the pizza with a quickness and then delivered that pizza to us as well. They have a great website where you can order from, I just wish they put pictures of everything on the menu but I know it takes time. Delivery is fast! My fiance loves their extra-large pizza with pepperoni and spinach but I like their specialty pies. The cheesesteaks are tasty, they bring the bread from his favorite bakery in NJ (where he's originally from). Warning, they seem a little small for my fiance's appetite. Cooked absolutely perfectly and their marinara tastes really fresh and homemade. The spicy pizza was equally as flavorful and the crust is a delight! It was cooked to perfection. I freaking love napolis and am so happy they are continuing delivery service during the times of Covid. Every time I call they are so nice on the phone and always have my order ready right on time. I've tried most of the pizza jernts in and around Sherman Oaks - most of them are not to my liking, except Pizza Wagon. The Postmates doesn't seem to be doing them and I needed a pizza this evening, so, after reading the reviews here, I decided on Napoli's and I'm glad I did. Pizza arrived on time, was nice and still warm, and was very tasty - you know, real pizza, not designer junk. Pepperoni only. Only caveat was it maybe could have used a little more pepperoni, but really it was terrific. And then there's this age-old question: Why are there always bad reviews for every single restaurant on Yelp? But, really, the review here giving a bad review because someone working there took off her mask for a second so the caller could understand here? C'mon, already, that's just stupid. Napoli's is officially my favorite pizza shop now. The crust was perfect, not too dense. The sauce was flavorful, perfect amount of acidity & slightly sweet. The toppings were a delight, even though it was bacon it wasn't too salty. Toppings were cut proportionally & spread evenly. A true balance of flavor in each bite. Don't order online through Yelp. The minimum is $15 but when I called the minimum was only $10 and it was free delivery because I was close enough. Anyway, I ordered for delivery and the customer service was very great. They were on time and the food was still warm when I got it. It was more than warm, it was actually pretty hot that I burned my tongue. I didn't think I'd would be hot because delivery usually isn't. So I'm really happy that it was. My meal was the chicken parm with meat sauce. It came with garlic bread. I also got. The tiramisu on the side for dessert. It was all wonderful! The pasta was perfectly sauced.
