Appetizers were awesome 5/5 stars Service left quite a bit to be desired, especially after he never said his name but made sure to mention he was the manager. 2/5 Main courses were terrible. Pretty sure the chicken in my pesto pasta was precooked and my husbands risotto was thick and gross. 1/5 Beer list was great 5/5 It was a cute place but not worth the amount of money we spent. read more

Food is really good. The service from the moment you walk in the door is not. Rarely is there actually a host at the host stand when you walk in. Often are you left standing there for several minutes waiting to be greeted. And often even when the host returns to the hostess stand, they don't even talk to you they walk away. I'm not exaggerating. Servers are slow to make initial contact with the tables. Slow to take your order. And they're not good about checking up after the food has been delivered even if they didn't deliver the food to the table themselves. The service in the bar seems to be moderately better. But it is busy and they are serving many individuals as opposed to groups of people. So that could be a lot to keep up with. The ambience is pleasant. And again the food is really good! It's the staff that hurts the rating on this restaurant and we've been going there for a number of years. We've done carry out which I can't recommend because the food was all cold. The order was not complete. Just not a good experience with take away food. read more

Myself and two co workers came here for dinner. First time for me. Our greeter seated us near the wine collection at a high top table. Great choice! The atmosphere, decor, ambiance (whatever you want to call it), was pretty cool. Rustic but contemporary, modern and not pretentious at all. Waitress was attentive and very nice and gave good suggestions. For starters, I went with the local IPA Bohdi by Columbus Brewing Company. For my meal I had the glazed salmon with jasmine rice and broccoli. It was pretty good and just enough. My co workers went with the lemon pepper chicken and short ribs and both were pretty good. In terms of sides, the risotto and sweet potatoes got rave reviews. For desert, the key lime pie was a hit. It was smooth, sweet and tart. Overall, great choice and solid dinning experience. Very nice and comfortable atmosphere. There's a private room that looks great for group gatherings (there was a rehearsal dinner that arrived just after us). The cocktail menu has many fresh options as well as a few non alcohol choices. Our server Joe was kind and attentive. He recommended the beef tournedos, which was delicious. He went above and beyond to get our order in before the group in the private room. We had a chance to talk with manager, Akisha (sp?) about the menu. She was very helpful to go over the offerings. Lunch at Napa Kitchen & Bar in Dublin Ohio. Definitely fresh feeling. I had the Napa Salad with sherry vinaigrette with green apples, candied -walnuts, bacon , radishes and goat cheese. Grilled prosciutto wrapped shrimp with grape tomato relish and Parmesan polenta with balsamic glaze. Great lunch. read more

No secret...I love wine!! So what is not to love about this place? They have several options of house wine to buy by the glass, little pricey but usually very good options. They also have wine flights. I usually prefer to just buy a glass or even better, you can walk around the restaurant and buy your own bottle. Lot's of choices, except the last two times I have been here they have been out of the The Girls Vineyard Cab. The food is very good. I have had the Julienne pizza which very good and I have had the salmon. Both have been very good. Price is little pricey but you in Napa! My mom and like this place because they have a fireplace and we usually sit at the bar next to it. Check this place out and have a glass or two of wine and enjoy the atmosphere. read more

Today my husband and I went to Napa kitchen for brunch. We were greeted by Amy and Nick. Very friendly bartenders. They told me to try the chai espresso martini. It did not disappoint. My husband enjoyed a bloody Mary. I had the crab cake Benedict. Very tasty. The eggs were cooked perfectly. My husband had the short rib hash. He thoroughly enjoyed it. Kudos to chef and the bartenders for starting our Easter Sunday off right. read more

This is a fantastic restaurant. I first had their food when I was at a party being catered by them. Their lasagna is amazing. So we're the salads; caprese and Caesar. I have since had their lasagne and salad delivered three times and each time, they were spot on. Their bread sticks are okay, and are plain (not seasoned), but their accompanying dipping oil makes up for that. I tend to stick to what I like, so don't have input on their other dishes, but am sure they're equally delicious. read more

Nice warm atmosphere, with cozy seating and ample space to gather in the bar area. They had a good selection of happy hour food and drink offerings, and much more than just wine. Their beer and cocktail list is diverse, and the selection of wines extensive. They had a good variety of food options as well, and I was pleased by the number of gluten-free options available- AND notated as such on the menu. On Tuesdays they have half-priced bottles of wine, so a great time to go with friends for happy hour. read more

The ambiance is so warm, comfortable, and classy. Loving the rustic look of the restaurant. For you truffle lovers out there, the truffle mushroom pizza which was amazing!! It has roasted cremini, button mushrooms, caramelized onions, havarti cheese, mozzarella, provolone cheese, garlic cream, and truffle oil! The Vintner's black angus burger was good as well. Their fries were addicting. We had no left overs because the food was so tasty. Bathrooms were clean, great atmosphere. We will definitely be back again! read more

My Valentine got very sick after her meal last night...she ordered the Spaghetti Pesto. It was a very long night for her...experiencing pain in her stomach throughout the evening. Needless to say...it spoiled our romantic evening. I had reserved this table two months in advance...and was disappointed when we were sat in the "auxiliary room"?! She thinks of herself as a bit of a wine connoisseur...I hoped this would be a big surprise for her on Valentines Day. Also, not that this was the restaurants fault...but, there was a birthday celebration...with about 10 younger "drinking" guests next to us...which made it difficult to talk over. I wish we could have been in the nicer main room...maybe by the fireplace...that would have been special! From our experience...I can't recommend this restaurant. read more

We checked this place out for our restaurant week, COVID quarantine, date night. We happened to see a link to it in 614 Now. We got our food to go, curbside. This is not the kind of place we would ever go, mostly due to the location. We are so glad we found it. We both had the steak frites. Each was cooked perfectly. The fries were good and the chimichurri sauce was very tasty. My wife got the bread pudding for dessert and it was superb. We can't wait to go back. read more

A friend and I went had lunch and it was a great meal. The food was delivered in a timely fashion and it was delicious! They have good cocktails and a great wine selection. Our server, Kim, was great. She offered suggestions. She asked us how we were for time because she was also serving a table of 10 people and suggested ordering before they did as the wait for our food would be long if we waited until she was done with taking their orders. A nice suggestion considering it was in the midst of holiday gatherings. The price point reasonable. Amibiance was warm and welcoming. I was surprised such a place in in a strip mall. We came here for Mother's Day brunch on Sunday. We had a reservation at 2, but they stop serving brunch at 2. I was bummed, but their regular menu had a bunch of good options. We started with some apps. We got the hummus trio, the popcorn, and cheese board. They were all tasty, but nothing I would be excited about reordering. For my main dish, I went with the harvest salmon salad. It was delicious. The salmon was flavorful and the toppings were really fresh. Definitely would order again. I tried some of the pizzas--they had good taste but were kind of mushy. The atmosphere here was one of my favorite parts. It's quiet, cozy, and unique. The decorations are rustic and inviting. We visited for brunch on Father's day. I was excited as we had a gift card for over a year and we were able to use it to celebrate! I had the French toast and my husband had a meal with poached eggs... Something he loves!! The French toast was okay-- I've had better-- and the potatoes it comes with are nothing special. My husband's poached eggs came out over cooked (or held too long) and they weren't runny as they should be. He asked for new poached eggs and they did make 2 new ones, but the new ones were under done!! Some of the whites of the eggs were not cooked. He couldn't eat much of his meal. We also had 2 bloody Mary's. The jalapeno one and the BBQ one... The BBQ one was too much for us, but the jalepeno one was pretty good. Overall, I'm not sure we would return, particularly for brunch. There are many other brunch options that are significantly better. read more

Ambiance and drinks were great! We had a party here for a birthday that has been booked for weeks, the service was fine but the food seemed to take a long time to get to us. When several of the plates did come out, they were cold and the remaining of the plates came 15 minutes later. I had the smoked chicken pasta and it was EXCELLENT! The chicken saltimbocca was lacking. Overall good experience, but food could have been better. read more

Columbus restaurant week fall 2020 was in full swing as my friend and I visited NAPA Kitchen + Bar for the first time. I've never heard of this restaurant prior to my ~3 years living here, but I'll make sure to make it a regular spot. Understanding my review was based on the restaurant week menu, I was able to enjoy their Baked French Brie, the Steak Frites, and the Triple Chocolate Pot De Crème. I will most definitely be dining here again, and then hopefully I'll be able to get pictures (I wasn't able to wait that long the first time:). The atmosphere was fantastic, it felt as if we were in a wine cellar. Pretty quiet overall, but welcomed many guests so I'm not sure if that was based more on the customers or just how spaced out everything was. This restaurant does have a nice outdoor patio for additional seating options. I'll happily dine here again and bring friends, I hope to be back soon! read more

I tried NAPA kitchen for the first time during lunch today. Right when you walk in you immediately feel like you've entered a super cozy, rustic-y type living room. The chairs are all different styles and fabrics and in the center of the room there's a warm roaring fire. My friend and I split the arugula salad with salmon and the crab cake sliders. Both were very good. The fries that came with the sliders were crispy, the relish that came with the crab cakes had a sweet and crunchy coleslaw texture- delicious! Arugula can be really bitter, but the lemon vinaigrette was the perfect compliment, the salmon was cooked to perfection. I can't wait to come back and get a bottle of wine and taste more! read more

My friend is gluten free so she picked restaurant. They provided a nice dinner for her. My meal was awful. The menu doesn't specifically state that the vegetable stack has polenta. I hate polenta. The vegetables were small, plus you only got one slice of zucchini, summer squash and eggplant. I ordered a piece of salmon with the dish. It was too dry. They overcooked the salmon. So we went for my birthday today reservations for eight and they knew why we were there at 1:30. At 2:30 the soup came out. Several minutes later the food did come out except for mine and another gentleman and that was forgotten. The coffee was cold. The martinis were short poured oh in the manager Amy came out and although she did half of the food, she was so indignant about it like she could care less such such a horrible experience it will be a very long time before we go back. read more

Dinner with friends Saturday night. Food was excellent (as always)! Atmosphere is so cozy and the wait staff was very professional. We took quite some time as we were catching up with friends but our waiter was very patient and checked back frequently to ensure we had everything we needed. I had a late lunch with my wife here a few days ago. It seems like this spot changes hands and gets remodeled every year or so, and it was time to give this newish place a try. The interior is spectacular, with a very high end yet rustic feel. The bar is big yet classy, and the dinning areas are comfortable and well appointed. Nearly the entire back wall is floor-to-ceiling shelves of wine sorted by region and type. The wine list is also impeccable, though perhaps a bit overpriced. I had a glass from the reserve menu, and it was excellent. So far so good...then we looked at the menu and that's when I got confused. I expected a fine dinning experience in line with the surroundings and wine list, but instead I was handed a laminated menu that looked like it came from a pub. There were lots of fancy appetizers, and the three that we had were good, but the rest was mostly fancied up pizza and sandwiches with just a few real entrees up in one corner. My senses were also confused by the high-end classy ambiance vs. the fast-casual layout and menu font - look at their website and you'll see what I mean. Again, everything we had was good, and the server was very friendly, but the mismatch of the setting, the wine, and the very limited and casual menu keeps me from giving a higher rating. I will likely go back for apps and a glass of wine at some point, but I can't see me doing a full dinner there unless they expand and improve the menu. The carpet just doesn't match the drapes, if you know what I mean. read more
