I bought a used car six months ago and now my car has started to show issues. I've watched…read morenumerous YouTube videos, and I decided I'm ready to try out some DIY auto repair, but I'm hesitant about using jacks and jack stands and having the car fall on me. Or what if I get stuck on a particular part in the process halfway thru the repair, and I'm now in limbo without being able to finish the repair. In comes Matt and his place (U Wrench It). For a reasonable price, you get access to his lifts, tools, and knowledge/experience. I went in to do an oil change and tranny fluid change, and Matt was helpful in assisting when using equipment and undoing bolts that were difficult for me to remove. Overall, Matt was very nice and personable. I really like his concept of allowing people to be empowered to learn how to repair their own vehicles while charging very reasonable prices. I will definitely be back to tackle on more repairs at U Wrench It!

My local auto parts store happens to be right across the street from my car dealership. I don't…read morethink they perform free code lookups like autozone, it is a much smaller store that I believe caters more to garages and mechanics. They came up big for me recently however, and I want to give them props. Packed my car for a trip to the shore only to find my battery dead. I called Toyota service, who told me they would need to order a battery after I explained I was on my way to the shore. I'm shocked they don't carry them in the store. I checked Napa's website, found a nice battery that would fit my car and placed an online order. Jumped my car(I have a portable charger, highly recommend) and had my new battery within 25 minutes. Took it home and installed it and was on the road within an hour, but of a stressful start for my vacation but Napa came through for me in my desperate time if need.

This sounds strange but I've always hated my aftermarket wiper blades which require a Rubik's Cube and a Quija Board to install. I described what I needed and I had the new rubber on in a snap. I would highly recommend not coming here for car parts / good info…read more My husband is a mechanic and was working on one of his higher end cars replacing an axel. He called beforehand asking if they had the very specific parts he needed. They said they did and we drove over a half an hour to get there. Turns out they had the slide hammer but didn't have the attachment for the axel, the CV AXEL PULL which made the entire thing useless and showed their lack of knowledge. We got there around 3:30 and they were closing at four. They seemed to just be rushing us out and didn't want to check the back for the parts. Basically they had zero knowledge and were clearly just trying to finish off their shift. We found Pep Boys near by to be incredibly helpful and will make sure to steer away from this company.
