I know, the "Custom" in the name makes you think I have a fancy car. But I don't. Rather, it's pretty old, covered with stickers, and parts are wearing out at an alarming rate. I was stopped at a light last week and thought, "Wow, that car next to me sure is loud." Then the car turned, and I was on the street alone. The noise remained. Turns out, I needed a flex pipe - fumes were coming into the car, and it sounded like I was driving a Harley (which my son thought was cool). Other than insane volume and effluvia, the car was perfectly drivable, so I have been dragging my feet on the repair: I figured it would cost a million dollars and take a week or two to fix, and I really don't want to figure out NJ Transit this time of year to get to work. I called this morning to see if I could get in on Saturday, and the guy who answered the phone was agreeable. I decided to swing by the shop on my way home today - partially to make sure it was the flex pipe, and they had the part, and to find out how long the repair would take on Saturday - I've been worried about the double whammy of missing work for an expensive repair. Chris said they could look at it now, and he could answer my questions in a few minutes. He got it up on the lift, popped the hood, and said, "I can fix this now, 45 minutes, top. $175." It took them less than 20 minutes, and while I would have rather spent the money on something else, I'm pretty happy right now. They should rename this company to Fuccello's Garbage Exhaust. Nothing about their product or work is high quality. You're better off taking your money and lighting it on fire than taking your vehicles here. I requested stainless steel for my exhaust and they proceeded to charge me the stainless price for the low quality metal. Not even 3 years later my exhaust is completely rotted out and has to get fully replaced. A few of my friends had the same issue with Fuccello's and their staff does nothing to help you as they have no "records" in their system. Not to mention they also cut off people's catalytic converters which is a big no no. Will never bring my car here or recommend it to anyone. Don't touch this place with a 10 foot pole! read more

Wow - what a great experience! My 13-year old Avalon with 200k miles developed a leak in the exhaust - made it sound loud and raspy, and was getting fumes in through the heater when sitting still. I braced myself for the estimate at my local chain repair shop - they said about $1800, requiring full replacement. I couldn't see investing that much into my old car, so passed on it. I did a bit of research and found that generally custom exhaust shops repair the leak instead of just replacing everything, so found Fuccello's with a quick Google search. Reviews looked good, so gave them a call. "No appointments, first-come first-served, open at eight." Seemed a little weird and not terribly accommodating. Anyhow arrived at 8:03 am next day. They immediately put my car in the previously empty garage, up on the lift, showed me the leaks, on the flex pipe and connector between the CAT and the flex pipe. Literally, 8:13 am I was pulling out of the lot, on my way to work, with my fixed exhaust!!! Holy cow. Oh yeah - way less than $1800 too - about $250. Turns out my coworker had them do an aftermarket exhaust for them a few years ago and had a similar experience - way cheaper than anyone else, and fast/prompt service. Full exhaust replacement in less than 90 minutes, middle of the day. How is it I haven't heard of these guys before? read more

I took my old 2005 Corolla in this morning (Saturday) with an obvious exhaust problem. The crew replaced a rotted section of pipe in 15 minutes, for less than I expected to spend. I had a great conversation with the owner. Full disclosure: I found this shop on the Internet and had no prior knowledge of them. Saturday hours are a big plus. I do a lot of reviews, some here and a lot on TripAdvisor, and can be pretty obnoxious to people who don't provide quality service. These guys I like and recommend. read more

i would never use this exhaust place again if you want a half ass peaced together and booger welded exhaust then thats your place otherwise dont ever go there. i think a 2 year old could have done a better job . then when u question why your exhaust is peaced you get told that thats what you wanted and i know 100% thats not what i asked for, then comes the attitude when you question it. dont waste your time read more
