That's what I do; Yelp and google review the good and bad in my life. And for some reason, this one slipped through the cracks, and for that I profusely apologize. It was about 3 weeks ago and I had been driving around for a week with a headlight out. Not a huge deal, except my husband was out of town, I already had received one warning from a cop, and I had no clue how to do it myself. Bright and early I drove to my usual auto parts store -- which is NOT this one. Mine is just down the road, however. It was right at opening, raining, and I was hoping if I paid someone they would do it for me. I knew I had a crisp $20 in my wallet. I entered the OTHER store; 4 guys were at the counter, talking, drinking coffee. I explained I needed help with picking out a bulb (I had no clue), and would be be willing to pay to have someone install it. There were no other customers in the shop. The four of them got quiet. One looked out the front and said, "Is it the Subaru?" "Yes," I replied. Hem, haw, stammer stammer... "Well, we don't really..." That's all I needed to hear. Obviously not one of these 4 big strong men wanted to get their hands dirty in the rain. I turned to leave. One guy spoke up. "Well, let me..." I snapped back, "You just said you couldn't/won't do it," and I left. What to do, what to do? Then I remembered the fairly newer place, Auto Zone, down in the old Acme building. I'll sum up, and I kick myself daily for forgetting the names of the two amazing people who literally did everything for me at this location. One was a crisply dressed uniformed manager, a female, sharp as a tack. Her assistant -- whose name may have been Kyle -- was equally impressive. They did not hesitate. While she assisted me in selecting the right bulbs, he went out to my car and assessed what tools were needed. This was not an easy job. I have a 21-year-old car. Bulb replacement is not easy. The two of them worked side by side replacing both bulbs, and refused payment for the installation. And remember -- it was raining. And that, OTHER PLACE, is called customer service. Although I did immediately fill out the survey at the bottom of my receipt and named these two by name, I failed to take this extra step in getting my story out to the public. I am so very sorry. I wept on the way home for the state of the world, for my relief at getting this done, and for knowing that good people still exist on this planet.

Well turns out that mine didn't meet the criteria for the free installation and I had to just lug my battery out and figure somethings else out. I asked if I could pay to have it done there and I was told that I can pay my mechanic whenever I get around to doing that. The attendant wasn't professional at all having very loud conversations on speaker phone talking openly about other customers and transactions. I won't be back to this Advance Auto Parts for any of my automobile needs. The only reason they get 2 stars is because the online ordering/pickup was convenient.

There are similarities in the wide display of everything car/truck related being found on the aisles, the same way the multitude of chicken pieces were dressed up with many sauces, accompanied by veggie and rice alternatives. I came in looking for a jack and lug wrench to replace the original equipment that had gone missing recently (one of the great mysteries of life). Everything Advance had was for much heavier usage. Even the smallest scissor jack was engineered to lift a panel truck, and much too heavy duty (and just plain heavy) for my needs. I did remember to pick up a replacement wiper; finding myself studying the chart to determine which model and level of sophistication was required. For $22 this better last forever. Service was of the DIY variety, which was okay after I located the area of the shop I wanted, but no one volunteered to assist. I guess most customers have been there before.

This company was by far one of the best I have ever encountered. The owner allowed me to have my car towed to his parking lot to fix the tire, right there in the parking lot and didn't charge me a dime. He helped me out, checked on me, gave me advice (actually save me a huge headache), gave us water, and when I tried to give him a small token of appreciation, he didn't take it stating that he was glad he could help. He said he's been where I was and was happy that he could return the help to someone else. Additionally, the parts are very reasonably priced (I only bought two items totaling $118, there was no motives). The customer service was phenomenal. The owner of this establishment is heaven sent. I am extremely grateful.

And for that I have to give all the credit to Kerri Villani my Senior Sales Consultant, that's who this review and the five star rating is about, she made this easy and painless. The first thing she asked me was what was I looking for and she wasn't talking model, I told her I wanted to lower my monthly payment. She explained a few numbers to me, we agreed on the money down and she said give me a minute. Kerri came back with a price $35 lower than my current monthly payment. The deal was done. No haggling, no negotiations, no multiple trips to see what the Sales Manager said. My wife recently got a different make car, that deal took seven hours. Seven hours! I was back in my kitchen with my new Honda parked outside in three hours. Kerri Villani is the best! And I look forward to saying that about Hamilton Honda too. So far first impressions are excellent, after all they allow Kerri to conduct business in the style she does. The price was adjusted upward 400% from comparable parts but I paid it because I needed it. 3. I drove 20 miles to pick it up only to discover that it was broken with a golf ball sized part of the box missing, still apparently worth 400% markup. My sales person was Brian Meddings. Do not use this person who works on markup and made good money on my part, but refused to have it overnighted to my location and made me call him several times to get status on this item. 4. I've been to plenty of other car washes in the area including other valet auto wash locations and have never had an issue. This is the second time my cars been damaged here. Avoid this place at all costs, it's extremely aggressive for no reason. Yanked clips clean off from grill. Wish I would've taken a picture of the bumper wedged under my car but was extremely upset at the sight of it and was focused on getting out of the way and putting my bumper back on. I'm a monthly membership payer and I hope the company has some decency and reaches out in regards to this incident
