    I give this auto parts store no stars. They source the parts from china. Absolute lowest quality. I have visited my area store more times than I wish to admit. More than not there is no-one running the register so grabbing an item off the shelf like oil and filter and paying for it is a long process. I have left the items on the counter and walked out more than half a dozen times. My mechanic has gotten defective water pumps and starters on way too many occasions. Who pays the labor when the mechanic has to do the job over and over because of inferior parts? You and I, the consumer. Try to find a parts house that sells parts made in the USA. Not China or other countries that have no regulations for quality.

    I'm embarrassed that I did not come on here immediately after my experience and praise those who…read moreliterally saved me major aggravation.. That's what I do; Yelp and google review the good and bad in my life. And for some reason, this one slipped through the cracks, and for that I profusely apologize. It was about 3 weeks ago and I had been driving around for a week with a headlight out. Not a huge deal, except my husband was out of town, I already had received one warning from a cop, and I had no clue how to do it myself. Bright and early I drove to my usual auto parts store -- which is NOT this one. Mine is just down the road, however. It was right at opening, raining, and I was hoping if I paid someone they would do it for me. I knew I had a crisp $20 in my wallet. I entered the OTHER store; 4 guys were at the counter, talking, drinking coffee. I explained I needed help with picking out a bulb (I had no clue), and would be be willing to pay to have someone install it. There were no other customers in the shop. The four of them got quiet. One looked out the front and said, "Is it the Subaru?" "Yes," I replied. Hem, haw, stammer stammer... "Well, we don't really..." That's all I needed to hear. Obviously not one of these 4 big strong men wanted to get their hands dirty in the rain. I turned to leave. One guy spoke up. "Well, let me..." I snapped back, "You just said you couldn't/won't do it," and I left. What to do, what to do? Then I remembered the fairly newer place, Auto Zone, down in the old Acme building. I'll sum up, and I kick myself daily for forgetting the names of the two amazing people who literally did everything for me at this location. One was a crisply dressed uniformed manager, a female, sharp as a tack. Her assistant -- whose name may have been Kyle -- was equally impressive. They did not hesitate. While she assisted me in selecting the right bulbs, he went out to my car and assessed what tools were needed. This was not an easy job. I have a 21-year-old car. Bulb replacement is not easy. The two of them worked side by side replacing both bulbs, and refused payment for the installation. And remember -- it was raining. And that, OTHER PLACE, is called customer service. Although I did immediately fill out the survey at the bottom of my receipt and named these two by name, I failed to take this extra step in getting my story out to the public. I am so very sorry. I wept on the way home for the state of the world, for my relief at getting this done, and for knowing that good people still exist on this planet.

    I had an appointment at the Walmart at the Marketplace to installed 4 tires that I bought from…read moreWalmart for Thursday May 4. I got a call asking me if I can reschedule since they didn't have enough t staff. I agreed and schedule for Friday May 5, at 5pm. I got a call saying that the auto shop had flooded if I can come at 4. I told them that I would try. I call to let them know that I couldn't get out to make it by 4. I rescheduled again for Sat May 6, at 8am. i got to the store at 7:30am and the shop with the supervisor didn't get in until 8:15am. I signed in and asked if my tires were in. The supervisor checked and said yes. At almost 9am the supervisor calls me and said that they only found 3 tires. I reminded him that he had verified that all my tires were in. He replied that he had told me yes my tires were in, but he never told me how many. And at this point, I was extremely extremely upset and very frustrated with the service on my car service that I was getting from Walmart. I asked him to please confirm how much it was going to cost me to get the tires installed since I was told they were going to be about $10 apiece at which point he replied that it would cost over $20 for each one. I explained that during rescheduling my appointment I was quoted about $10 apiece and he said to me that he would be more than happy to put my tires in the trunk and I can take them somewhere where they would be less expensive. By this time, I was extremely upset and really frustrated with the service or lack of that I was receiving from Walmart. I told the supervisor that I was going to write to his manager and asked him for his name and he replied it was Walmart. I have had several frustrating events at Walmart at the marketplace, including having two adults, approach me and take food out of my cart, but having an employee disrespect me and provide horrific service takes the cake!!
