Then I approach one of the two cashiers at the counter, he directs to the "self-checkout" and instructs me to scan my item in the incorrect area of the screen and another employee steps in and shows me how to scan it properly, and as I scan they both walk away. No biggie. I scan, I use a card to pay and it doesn't go through...weird...I redo the scan and use a different card and it doesn't work. Both cards are fine and have no reason to decline. So, I set the small battery package on the counter and say to all three, present employees, this isn't working, I'm just going to leave this here....all three shook their heads, said okay, and that was that. I knew my SUV needed a new battery for a few weeks now, but have been putting it off. Today, while at the park with my wife and toddler, 30 mins from home our battery decided to finally die completely. The first thing I did was uber to O'Reilly to get a jump start pack and immediately Noe was super helpful and recommended I borrow their jump pack (and leave my ID) in order to save some money until I could get the car there just so I can get a new battery. Unfortunately, the pack was not able to get the battery going so I called back and Noe offered to literally come out to me after his shift and help me install a new battery! So I placed in a new battery order online, he arrived promptly right after work still in uniform with all the things necessary (tools, the new battery I ordered, the receipt so I can get my core deposit, and even my ID!). He even did the labor himself pitch black at night, it took him only a few minutes and our car was up and running again! This review is the least I could do to thank Noe. At the end of the day all auto parts stores sell the same thing, it's this type of service that differentiates which one you should always choose.

Unacceptable service and a complete lack of integrity…read more I brought my GMC Sierra in for a mechanical vacuum pump replacement under warranty. Shortly after returning home, I noticed oil dripping off the skid plate and onto the ground. Concerned about a potential issue with the repair, I had to return to the dealership to ensure it wasn't a live leak. This was after they already had the vehicle all day. I dealt directly with a customer service manager, Ken Baugh. Instead of actually fixing the issue, Ken chose to lie to my face and show me fake pictures to move me along and cover up sloppy workmanship. He specifically blamed a "pad" on the skid plate that supposedly hadn't been cleaned completely. After dropping and cleaning the skid plate myself today, I discovered that Ken had shown me a photo of a completely different vehicle--my truck does not have any padding on the skid plate. I ultimately had to crawl under the truck myself to verify the integrity of the repair. What I found was a complete mess. Below the area of the replaced vacuum pump, the differential housing and the skid plate were absolutely filthy with leftover oil. Worse yet, the technician had left the skid plate bolts loose. This was the state of the vehicle after "two cleanings"--supposedly one at the completion of the job and a second when I returned to the shop with an oil leak. When you go to a dealership for repairs, you expect professional service and basic honesty. Instead, I got a manager who fakes documentation to dismiss a customer's legitimate concerns and a technician who can't even torque down a skid plate or clean up after themselves. I had to spend my own time under the truck cleaning up their mess and tightening their loose hardware. I have zero trust in this dealer or their service department. Avoid at all costs.

LEGALLY BINDING DUE BILL IGNORED, DISORGANIZED MANAGEMENT, SUBSTANDARD WORK…read more I drove approximately six hours to Mercedes-Benz of Rocklin to purchase a 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLA 250. Upon arrival, I found undisclosed paint damage on the rear hatch and a dent on the passenger door. Both items were placed on a legally binding due bill as a condition of sale. The experience trying to get these items fixed has been an absolute nightmare of poor communication, ghosting, and terrible workmanship. THE POOR COMMUNICATION AND GHOSTING: Coordinating this repair from 6 hours away was made intentionally difficult by staff. I reached out to my salesperson, Julio, to coordinate an appointment around a flight out of Sacramento to avoid multiple long round trips. He went completely radio silent for over two weeks. I escalated the issue directly to a manager, David Trifeletti, who completely ignored my email. When Julio finally replied three weeks later, he admitted that David had received and read my email but simply chose not to respond to me. THE FORGOTTEN APPOINTMENT AFTER A 6-HOUR DRIVE: Julio explicitly confirmed by text multiple times that my appointment was set for August 11 at 10:00 a.m. Yet, after making the 6-hour drive to Rocklin, I arrived only to find the service department had absolutely no record of my appointment in their system despite text confirmations. Luckily Wayne & Kenny fixed the blunder and got me in, (and the only reason this isn't a zero-star review.) Later, when the car was returned to me completely dirty, Kenny stepped up again without hesitation to have it washed. These two know what luxury service means. THE "ACCEPTABLE" PAINT FAILURE & DISRESPECTFUL SERVICE: After the scheduling mess, the rest of management failed completely. David called and spoke quickly, "Your car is ready" without even identifying himself or where he was calling from. When I inspected the trunk, the repair was shocking. The tech heavily caked, globbed, and layered a thick, jagged ridge of paint directly under the central Mercedes emblem (see photo). It is uneven, grainy, and rough. Managers David "spoke on behalf of Darrell" and flatly told me that this amateur smear is "acceptable dealership level work" and refused to fix it flat. WARNING TO BUYERS: This dealership will sign a Due Bill to close a deal, but sales and management will ghost you, botch your scheduling, and force you to accept garbage repair work once they have your money. Beware of their post-sale promises.

Over the next six months, we went back and forth trying to troubleshoot between America's Tire and two different Tesla service centers, all while dealing with a car that shook pretty violently at freeway speed. When we finally brought it back again (after the first inquiry post-install), the team took another look and discovered that the foam lining (the sound dampening foam designed to reduce road noise) had come loose inside of all four tires! They removed the foam and the difference was immediate. The car drives like new again. Huge thank you to Aaron, who was incredibly friendly, helpful, and patient throughout the process. He also really helped as a liaison between us and Goodyear, making a frustrating situation much easier to navigate. While the situation itself was definitely a headache, the team here at America's Tire stuck with it and helped get us to a resolution.
