I have a F350 7.3L diesel truck that was having a slow crank issue, like the batteries were dead, I…read morereplaced both batteries and was still experiencing weak starting. After research I believed the issue was my starter, I stopped into the Bowdish location where I was recommended to go into the Sullivan location because they have the tool to have our starter tested. Once there we asked the service guy if that was a test they were able to perform. He said he was able to and pulled us into the bay, he let the rest of the workers know he was doing a starter test and grabbed the battery checker from the wall, my Fiancé reminded them that he didn't need the batteries checked just the starter, he continued to check the batteries. After checking both the batteries and the test coming back 100%, the guy tells us that it must be the alternator, and that we are only pulling from the batteries to start the truck. we asked how we have 100% charge if we drove it 6 miles and are only running off battery power. He never answered the question, but he advised us that they could do that alternator, we asked how much that was and he told us he was going inside to get the estimate from the printer. 5 or more minutes later he returns on the phone, and starts asking us questions about last oil change, last fuel filter change, everything except testing the starter as asked before we pulled in. After several calls to someone (we were told the owner/manager) we were told it is absolutely not the starter or the alternator, but that it would need fuel injectors and a new fuel pump. Over $1000 in repairs. We had already ordered the new starter; they were advising to return it. We installed the new starter today; the problem is fixed. The truck has no hesitation to start. These guys were trying to upsell me and weren't even looking at what I pulled into the shop for. They didn't run the test I needed. the person on the phone never heard the truck start. I will be returning to the shop tomorrow to see what they have to say. How can people trust you when you won't perform the test you say you are, and they try to repair stuff that isn't broken or even acting like a problem.

She had an attitude from the moment she walked up, as if her day was ruined the second she saw another customer. Her tone was cold, dismissive, and honestly just rude. I had a little trouble pulling into the space she directed me to (since I was at an awkward angle) and rather than helping professionally, she acted like I was clueless behind the wheel, talking down to me as if I was a complete idiot. I've been driving my car for about 6 years, I think I know how my own car drives and how to maneuver it. Then she asked me to turn on my lights and signals with the same nasty tone, like I was wasting her time. I stayed polite and respectful the entire time, but she couldn't have cared less. When I accidentally opened the trunk instead of the hood, a simple mistake (those buttons are right next to each other) I saw her roll her eyes. That was the last straw for me. It's one thing to be frustrated, but it's another to act like a customer is beneath you. Another girl came to the window to ask about mileage and oil type, but by that point I already felt completely unwelcome. They didn't have the oil I needed, so I asked to leave. When the hood was shut, it felt deliberately slammed, my car's hood is supposed to be lowered gently and it'll close on its own, so the way it was handled didn't sit right either. The whole team seemed irritated that I was leaving, but maybe if the first girl hadn't treated me like a burden from the second I pulled in, I would've stayed. Never coming back here, and I hope management takes a serious look at how customers are being treated. Especially from that all girl team.
