An invitation out to @naooshsweets Brought me into this lovely neighborhood market where your immediately greeted to an abundance of sweet treats made fresh daily. Naoosh specializes in sweet treats from baklava to dubai chocolate bars, homemade gelato and so much more. This local sweet shop is also a market that specializes in imported goods. I was even more excited to hear they are serving up authentic middle eastern cuisine. Packed with so much flavor, each of the meats were so tender and juicy. The fresh Arabic bread is layered at the bottom of the tray to soak up all the juices from the meat. A was tearing off bread, pinch and eat. Mmmm! The Falafel is a must try. Especially as it first comes out. It's piping hot! Best way to enjoy! Thank you Naoosh and Iman for keeping me in mind. I appreciate the invitation to the restaurant (coming soon) and can't wait to explore more amazing food and share my experience. Definitely add this one to your list of must try and stop by to support this local, family owned business. 12450 N 35th Ave Phoenix AZ 85029

Decided to try this place and I'm glad I did because this place is amazing. Love baklava and they have a wide array of this. They have other Middle Eastern sweets there too. The employees were great and helped us figure out what would be best to order. I ended up getting a gift box for my family and it was beautifully decorated and wrapped. Thank you! The store also has a grocery store in it. We bought some teas here too and excited to try it. I recommend and I will be back

Amazing food and staff! They have a variety of gelatos, cookies, baklava, and other treats. Don't forget you can order shawarmas, falafel , hummus, and more in to order food to go! Delicious! Anyone that likes a good fresh baklava will love these treats. But with the market and deli they have, it's a one stop shop. Highly recommend anyone to stop in to grab a bite!

Knafeh

Amazing bakery and market. Fresh food is delicious. Best baklava and knafeh I've had in AZ, (other than my mom's, of course).

Small, local bakery and shop. Delicious baklava! In a strip mall - but don't let that deter you.

They have plenty of seats and tables, plus games if you have a group of friends or you're with family. Customer service was great. I ordered the confetti vanilla cupcake, which was really good. They also have ice cream and milkshakes, which I'll definitely try next time. Parking is easy, and if you have a sweet tooth, this is a great place to check out. I'll definitely be back!

I got the peach cobbler cupcake, which was almost $7, and for that price I was definitely expecting more. The texture was honestly so strange. The outside was dry and crumbly, while the inside had this really dense, gummy/doughy texture. Somehow it was dry and doughy at the same time. There were actual pieces of peach in it, but I could barely taste any peach flavor. Overall, it just didn't have much flavor at all. I'm not sure if it was specifically the flavor I chose or if it's because I'm not really used to vegan baked goods. I can definitely appreciate that they offer options for people who are vegan, have allergies, or have certain dietary restrictions and still want to satisfy their sweet tooth. But for me personally, the taste and quality just didn't justify paying almost $7 for one cupcake. The customer service didn't really help the experience either. Since it was my first time, I asked the girl at the front what their best sellers were and what she recommended. I was genuinely trying to make conversation and get some guidance on what I should try, but she wasn't very helpful or engaging. It honestly felt like I was talking to a wall. Overall, it's a cute spot and I appreciate what they offer for people with dietary restrictions, but between the price, texture, lack of flavor, and customer service, it just wasn't for me.

I wanted to address it when I was in the store this past week, but when it feels like an unapproachable environment it makes it a little uneasy. Well this is my second time eating something from the bakery and I was hoping I just had a one off experience. I did pick up a too good to go from the bakery a couple months back and it was 2 cake cups and decorate your own cookie - both of the 2 cake cups made me sick, I know things for TGTG can be close to date so that's what I thought - both items were very buttery, and tasted like the sugar was forgotten. I tried to call the bakery 3 times and wasn't able to get through to anyone. I decided to back and give something else a try.. I will say both times I haven't experienced a friendly bakery, lots of people little acknowledgement - even further this time after the baker helped me get my item, the baker then had someone check her out to buy something, idk just odd(ik it's allowed but it was just weird) after that she rang me up - so I did have the same experience taste wise, lacking flavor and I no notes of sweetness(I don't even have a sweet tooth lol) I'm not sure if this is just 2 off experiences or what, but I just wanted to leave this review here.

The desserts come in pretty gold boxes, and I was able to have them put the cannoli filling in a container for transit. I ended up ordering a lobster tail, a white chocolate dipped cannoli shell, a dark chocolate dipped cannoli shell with pistachio, classic cannoli filling and cookies and cream cannoli filling. Unfortunately when I arrived home, I noticed I received cookie dough cannoli filling instead. While the cookie dough filling was good, it wasn't quite what I had intended for my white chocolate dipped cannoli shell. Service was decent, but the mishap was a little disappointing. I'm sure you know how it is when you have your heart set on something specific and get something else. The cannoli and the lobster tail were very good, but could have been slightly fresher tasting. I know it's tough when businesses don't have the same foot traffic like a major city. Still good, but room for improvement. For the two cannoli and lobster tail my order came to about $25.

I went before deciding that the cheese twist is one of my favorite pastries to get there - salty, cheesy goodness - so that's not included in the photo but I definitely recommend that one for people that enjoy the flavor profile. First time trying a dubai chocolate dessert here - it was tasty but I'm not sure it was worth the $6, nothing groundbreaking about it. I accidentally got the almond pastry because it looks almost identical to the cheese one I wanted, but it was still good. Pastry franks are nice options for if you want something savory, buttery, and garlicky but be warned that it is also a little sweet.

And if I'm spending over $4 for a small iced tea, which probably cost this company under twenty cents to make- include a top off. Simple customer happiness factor. Maybe tie it to a rewards account or whatever coffee shops do, fine. But asking me to pay for a whole second drink? Ridiculous.
