Me and my SO decided to stop by here on the way home from a trip and saw all the good reviews but left unimpressed. Service is good -- don't get me wrong; the people are hard working and willing to answer any questions I had. Lots of smiling faces! I also like how you can several toppings for no charge (not many places do that). Got several breakfast and lunch tacos. The tacos are big but not much stuffing or flavor. We needed to add some more seasoning which shouldn't be needed for tacos in Houston. The salsas were a nice compliment but I have had better. Also the beef was very dry. Very small restaurant with not much parking. Gives off a very Mexican-homey vibe. Personally not something to write home about but maybe I'll give them another try when I'm in the area again.

We pass by decided to stop and we didn't regret it.. very good food tacos are big and customer service is excellent if your in the humble area and want some good breakfast stop by you wont regret it we are coming back again

10/10 definitely recommend . Quality food that tastes delicious. The layers, the flavors, best I had in awhile! Family run and you can feel the love as the workers mill around working and smiling. It's a smaller menu which I appreciated because it's AMAZING. Be sure to get the charro beans and heck anything they make...put this on your list! Oh and they do catering!!!

First time trying them. They were very friendly and quick. They mentioned their tortillas were a bit big lol but I guess growing up in a Mexican home these are just regular size tortillas.I think I would definitely come back vs the other two around the area. I wish they would add more cebolla y cilantro but nothing that can't be fixed, next time I'll make sure they do. Their charra beans were good. The salsa were Hot.

Nando's is located in a small yet clean building. Staff were friendly and professional. Being our first time, they introduced us to their menu. We ordered tacos barbacoba (shredded beef) on corn tortilla and egg, potato, and bacon on flour. The shredded beef had a modern take on an old Mexican classic dish. The corn tortillas was freshly made and the right thickness (for it not to fall apart). The egg, potato, and bacon filling was fresh and had a good taste. My recommendation is to add baking powder (browning agent) to the flour tortillas. Personally, I prefer the texture, taste, and look of a tortilla with baking powder. I will say that the flour tortilla did not have a sweet taste which was a plus. I would encourage foodies to try Nando's for yourselves. Happy eating ya'll

Probably one of the best customer service experience. Breakfast was great and the food is big portions.

    Tres Leches!!

When I arrived here, I was waiting on the rest on my party to arrive and immediately was greeted by extremely friendly service. Claudia offered for us to try their meats while we waited. She went through a quick run through of their menu and the quality of the meats! The atmosphere is so cozy and feels homey. Will definitely be coming back!! Claudia is seriously so amazing! She let us try their beans and the tres leches! The beans were seriously were so so so good! The BEST tres leches I have ever had! I love it here! I could come her every day!!

This is one of those rare places to live up to "authentic" Mexican food. The flavors are what we call it, "casero" in other words, "homemade". The salsa verde was a little more on the lemony side but I still drowned my breakfast tacos and loved it. They do however, have a spicy sauce cooked with the meat.... I hope they can have that as an actual salsa option for those who can handle the spiciness. The fresh squeezed orange juice it's LITERALLY "fresh squeezed orange juice" honestly they should charge more for it. Service was friendly and informative with the menu to guide you in selecting. A very calm and homely atmosphere.

Not bad at all. They need a larger menu, but what they have is good. I'll be back to try something else.

We ordered pupusas, barbacoa, and a burrito. The pupusas were AMAZING (we got the kids' one), and they came with rice and beans that were also really good. The barbacoa came with two tortillas and was flavorful without being overly sweet, which I really appreciated since I'm not a fan of sweet barbacoa. My mom had the burrito and felt it could've had more flavor, but overall the food was still solid. The staff was super friendly, the bathrooms were clean and nice, and it was a comfortable spot to grab lunch. Definitely a great place to stop if you're hungry and want a satisfying, casual meal. Waited about 15 minutes for Freshly made pupusas that come with tasty curtido and salsa, included. ( bean and cheese), and an order of platanos fritos that came with black beans and crema; portions large enough to share. The pupusa is one of the largest I have gotten, and the consistency and flavor were exactly the way I remember them from my time in El Salvador; authentic and delicious. Cost was $20 total, but would easily have fed two, and I have enough leftover for lunch, tomorrow, so a good value, for good food! Don't miss this spot; they have juices, and bottled and canned drinks, too. Will surely be back to enjoy more good food from their menu!

They start you off with chips and salsa (which is warm, mild and refreshing). Small bottles of other salsas are on the table, a creamy green and light orange. Non of the salsas were spicy. With a total of 43 dollars for a burrito (HUGE) and 8 street tacos with two beverages, it was pretty affordable and very filling. You can definitely spend $15 and leave very satisfied. Wish they'd ask people to either sit or wait elsewhere vs huddle by front door/where line starts for ordering. Several people kept asking others if they were in line and some didn't even answer so new customers were like umm ..??should we go ahead or wait or go ahead or wait. I got a menudo-Menudo wasn't bad it does have a distinct flavor but not something bad I did like that it was nothing but cueros as I'm not big on hominy but yeah hominy was like maybe 10in the cup. Oh and the tortillas were good even after saving some and reheating my leftover for dinner. The tacos- Not bad but as you can see in the pic they were super greasy. I wish they'd give you more cilantro y cebolla or ask if you'd like some on the side. The salsa-"baggies" were funny but flavor wise there wasn't really much to them and as they say Ni picaba,so that was really a negative for me.

I figured it would be a hidden gem! It was a food truck tucked away. There was ample seating and a cat that was just wandering around begging for food. There were other patrons when I arrived. Service: I walked up to the window and ordered my tacos, for 5 tacos, a quesadilla and two cokes came out to $25. I felt it was a little pricy, however based on the reviews I figured they could charge a little more. I ordered the food and they gave me a ticket, about 10-15 minutes later they called me to pickup my food. The photos below showed how delicious these tacos looked. Food: the food looked amazing but that is all it had going for it. The meats were all tasteless, the only one with some sort of flavor was the carnitas. They had a pickled onion on it, normally it's picked with vinegar but it was apple cider vinegar. It tasted a little off for a combination of flavor. The tortillas were fried, which added a crunch to the tacos. There was an excessive amount of oil from the tacos that dropped down. It was a little off putting. The cokes were delicious however but those are imported and not made here. I would not believe the other reviews as I was not impressed by this place at all.
