I love that they have online appointments which make booking very easy. They've almost always had some availability in a short time frame and offer evening weekday appointments. Prices are really reasonable especially for some of the newer stylists. Prices are clearly listed on their booking system by stylist and service which I really appreciate. I've been with different stylists and they have all been great. Recently had a very great haircut with Emmie who was great about listening to my preferences. Maddy as well did a fantastic color/balayage for me that had grown out well even after a year. I had a minor issue with a service recently and the staff were so so nice about immediately accommodating me for a fix up.

I am still there for the 2 minute walk from my home but please new and prospective new members know that their assurances of new equipment and remodel is highly unlikely. Facility A/C was down for nearly two weeks and they kindly offered access to other locations, no small %off our monthly membership fee. Also, you mat freeze your membership with a $50 / month fee.

I knew the stars aligned when I met Nanda. My heart skipped a beat and I knew I was smitten as I fluttered my feathery lashes. I'm addicted to having these puppies applied and Nanda is the one to do it. I used to go to someone out in Bucktown, but quickly transitioned myself to Nanda as she's just down the street from my apartment, charges SIGNIFICANTLY less so I *REALLY* get my bang for my buck and she's just absolutely wonderful. Nanda is super punctual. Always on time. Polished. Ready to go. Super flexible if you need to be squeezed into her busy schedule, she'll do it for ya. Also, the private room that she rents is spotless. So clean, smells immaculate and it makes me feel so cozy comfy. She plays great music as she works on my lashes and we chit chat/catch up on life. It's an hour that I really enjoy. Go see Nanda at the Spa on Oak. She's fantastic and you WILL not regret it. I'm not particularly skilled with makeup; this is really the only cosmetic thing I do, and I love love love waking up ready. It means a lot to me that Narumi is meticulous about sanitation and chooses safe and high quality products. These are my eyes after all! In addition to all this, I just really like Narumi as a person! She is smart and kind and charming and has great restaurant recommendations! I am still relatively new to town, and knowing her is part of what makes Chicago feel like home which means a lot to me right now. She was so fun and easy to chat with. She helped my nerves go away, and I didn't feel anything while she was putting the lashes on! It was so relaxing and peaceful. I got soooo many compliments on my lashes - even a professional makeup artist who also does lashes told me that she was very impressed with mine and she could tell that they were very well done. The lashes also last a while - about a month or maybe even more. I used to wear mascara everyday, but mascara is hard to wash off, gets in my eyes and irritates my eyes, gets clumpy and flaky, and I think was also giving me pimples - my skin seems to have cleared up ever since not using mascara anymore. Because of how beautiful and effortless Yanna's lashes are, I am thinking to start going regularly to get them done instead of wearing mascara. I initially just got them for my wedding, but I love them so much I may just stick with them :) One other thing I loved - she does a few test lashes during your consultation visit to make sure there's no allergic reaction. They require you to WEAR A MASK and ring the doorbell when you arrive for your appointment. They take your temperature on arrival, and they also wear masks while performing service and checkin/out. Service: I got classic lash full set, Eroica is a goddess. Her work is amaaaaazing and she is so gentle with the lash application. She is so easy to talk to and is a true professional. Product: the lashes looked amazing, very natural and I even let her decide what would look the best. The lashes were mink and good quality, the glue was non irritating (I've had other adhesives that make my eyes water/itch for weeks after). Lashes stayed on for ~6-7 weeks, even a few left hanging at week 8. I'm bad with getting regular fills so I haven't been back, but definitely will. TLDR: Put on a mask to protect Eroica and protect yourself, but please go and support Y'lonn Lash Studio if you need lashes done!
