When I first came in, she asked me to sit down so we could "catch up". She asked me about the areas I had mentioned as problems in my first appt., and if I had any new concerns, etc. etc. She was very flexible when I asked her to start the massage with me on my back. Every place I've ever gone to has started me out on my stomach and then had me switch to my back, which means I leave with a back ache because of the arthritis in my lower back. She was very happy to build the appointment around my needs and spent lots of time on the areas that needed the most work. I left feeling SO much better than when I got there and realized I should have been more vocal during my first appointment.

I had an automobile accident about a year ago and just finished my course of physical therapy. I…read morehad a recurrence of pain in my left shoulder/shoulder blade area that persisted for more than a day and did not respond well to ibuprofen. I was in so much pain even though it was Saturday, I thought I would see if a massage would help. Melyssa called me back promptly and was able to schedule my massage two hours later. Melyssa took the time to interview me to determine my physical condition, the nature and location of the pain and the areas for her to concentrate on. I chose my neck and shoulders and lower back. She told me what to expect and about her technique. What followed was an amazingly relaxing experience. Even though there were a few moments of mild to moderate pain while she was working on my shoulders and neck, the pain subsided quickly and the ongoing pain that brought me there in the first place was gone! That was a week ago and it still has not returned. I am at a loss to figure out a good excuse to go back and get another massage! She is very competent, professional and I recommend her without reservation.

My appointment was at 4 p.m. (about the time my phone dies) I went into the lobby (yes, if you are in a law firm, you are in the right place) expecting her to at least check the lobby. To her credit, her email did say she would text me to come up. Forgive me...my phone died...But really?! Just cancel and bail after 20 mins? At about 4:22 I went to the car...by then i had a charge and a few text about paying to reschedule. I called and text several times but no answer or response. I went up to her suite..nada! I asked the girl at the front if she'd seen her...not today!? Melyssa says she wasn't going to waste any more of her time?! I suggest you don't either! I know i won't.

I really loved that he did lots of stretching at the end and checked in about pressure as sometimes it was quite deep but at 35 bucks for 30 mins, I will probably be here multiple times a week. I work at a computer and suffer from upper back and shoulder pain from repetitive motion so I would recommend this spot to anyone who does the same!

I am extremely disappointed with the way a recent gift card redemption was handled at your spa…read more When I originally purchased the gift card, I specifically asked if a 20% tip could be included and was told it could be. I wanted the tip to be included so that the person receiving the gift would not have to worry about paying anything additional when he came in for his appointment. I also went in for the foot spa the same day the recipient went in and let them know I was going to pay for mine and gave them the gift card for the other person. Unfortunately, when I redeemed the gift card, I was made to feel uncomfortable and was essentially shamed for not leaving a tip. I tried explaining several times that the tip had already been included with the gift card, but I was repeatedly told that it had not been paid. The situation became so frustrating that I had to locate and provide the original receipt to prove that the 20% tip had, in fact, already been paid. This was incredibly disappointing and embarrassing, particularly because the entire purpose of including the tip in advance was to make the experience easy and enjoyable for the gift recipient. Instead, he left feeling as though he had done something wrong by not tipping, when the tip had already been paid by me. I understand that mistakes can happen, but I am very concerned about how this was handled. Your staff should be able to accurately review gift card transactions and, if there is any question about whether gratuity was included, resolve it without making the customer feel guilty or embarrassed. I hope you will take this situation seriously and review how gift cards with prepaid gratuity are documented and communicated to your staff to prevent another customer from being put in this position.

After the last excuse for a turd I had, I am compelled to reward his awesomeness in ways I cannot mention, and also with professional massages. I'm not at liberty to give Leslie 5 stars, as I didn't receive the service, but the boy seemed delighted with his birthday massage (the professional version). He said she used her knees to help release stress and tension in his lower back, and according to my get-away-driver clock, she seemed to have gone longer than the indicated time. I learned later that she had to reformulate her calendar to accommodate my booking because she knew it was a special day. If you've got a guy who helps wash the dog, or shows up home with macaroons from your favorite shop: thank baby Jesus every day, and get him a massage (and other things I cannot mention).

I definitely recommend Infinite Massage to anyone, especially any business that is looking to…read morereward their employees. Our experience: We're a small business located in downtown Austin and I decided I wanted to bring someone on-site in two days. Stacey helped me over the phone, emailed me a quote within 5 minutes and even sent me another one when I made some scheduling changes. Two days later, Paula showed up 15 minutes early with all materials and was very professionally dressed-- she wore an "Infinite Massage" T-shirt and I was very pleased with her demeanor towards the employees. She worked out a schedule with me (how many employees, how long each massage should last etc) and the massages were seamless. She took one 10-minute break but other than that she happily relaxed our employees for 3 hours straight. Afterwards, she cleaned up and the room looked better than when she arrived! Another note-- I was unsure the tipping policy because different companies have different views on the stance-- I emailed Stacey and asked and she very graciously stated that the therapists are paid well and in no way expect gratuity and that it was completely up to the company. I appreciated her honesty and no-pressure stance and when we did request to add a tip to our invoice (we were that pleased with Paula!) she was very appreciative and thankful. All in all, we WILL be hiring Infinite massage again-- our employees came out of their massage and asked me when we'd be doing this again. You should definitely do it!
