They scrubbed my feet, but not very hard, so I could see rough skin before I left. I was very disappointed to find out the prices on their website our inaccurate. Each mani/pedi was $20 more per person than I expected to pay. When I asked, I was brushed off and told the website is very old. When we went to pay with a credit card, we learned they only accept cash or check. Thankfully between the 3 of us, we had enough cash. Both ladies working there was nice. Helen and Cathy do such an amazing job!!! They are detail oriented, professional and always so sweet! I have been going to this nail salon since I was 12, and I'm 23 now. it's a much smaller nail salon so I don't ever feel rushed like that other nail salons that I've been to. Every time I leave the salon I'm always happy with the outcome of my nails. Also something that is *very important* to note is they have to be using good products that my gel nails never chip and always stay shiny even when it's a 2 week grow out. I also have been getting gel nails because I have short nails and they NEVER lift which I'm really happy about. If you need a place to get your nails done, definitely give Nancy Nails a call. I've tried several nail salons in Edmonds and Nancy's is the best! I've had acrylic nails for over 20 years and have become very particular about the quality. Nancy's does a fantastic job! My nails are both thin and strong with a flawless shellac polish. I give the pedicures a solid A+. I could spend hours just siting in their pedicure chairs. And the pedicure techs give an awesome foot & leg massage. Highly recommend! read more

I visited for the first time to get a pedicure, and the pedicure itself was nice (though my polish on one toe has already smudged about an hour after leaving) and I was excited to find a new place to get my nails done. However, they seem to have way overbooked, and I was left and completely ignored at the nail drying table for almost an hour and a half while the staff was busy working with other customers. I even put my shoes on and made it clear I was ready to leave and still was ignored. I eventually just left my cash on the table and left. If you have hours to spare, this is a nice place, but if you are on any sort of time crunch, you may be best going somewhere else. read more

I had given Nancy's 5 stars in the past. I need to update it. I have been going here for a couple of years. Very friendly. My last visit a couple of weeks ago was not positive. During my pedicure, I was nicked and my large toes were cut at angles. My pedicure was done with globs of gel at the ends. So disappointed and will not be back. read more

Finally had a pedicure and it was beyond lovely! This is a small shop, and has all been redone during the shutdown. Very clean, I was the only customer for the majority of my visit. Everyone masked up. Splurged with the deluxe pedicure-over an hour of pampering and serious work on my feet which was much needed. Awesome new massage chairs! Easy parking. GReat music playing. I always make it a point to see Helen at Nancy's Nails when I am in the Seattle Area to visit my family a few times a year. She is so gentle and always I appreciate that she takes the time to do a great job and doesn't just shuffle me out like other places. I have been going to her for a few years now and have never had a bad experience! I always get shellac on my nails since it damages it less than gel and there is a great range of colors to choose from. It is in the cutest area of downtown Edmonds and I always grab a coffee at the nearby shop and take a walk down to the water after I am done. Makes for a very relaxing day! read more

Not the greatest place for gel. I've tried to get it done a couple times here, and I've never been satisfied. Aside from leaving my nail shape wonky, the gel changed color on me after one day, and only on my nail bed! I went here as a treat after finishing a move, so my hands were destroyed by all the cleaning products I'd been using. The staff were incredibly friendly and the place was very casual and relaxed. Unfortunately I was disappointed in the results, my hands felt dryer when I left than when I went in, there were still flaky bits around the cuticles and the polish was lumpy in several places. The cost and friendly atmosphere is what saves this for me, it was only $15, and the massage and treatment felt nice while I was there, it's just I went in because I wanted something better than I could do by applying moisturizer and nail polish at home and that's not what I got. read more

This is now the only place I go to have my pedis. Helen, the owner (I think Nancy left a long time ago...) is a delight. She is welcoming and professional and always provides a great pedi and mani, along with the lovely Kathy. My friend and I usually call for a same day appointment and Helen always can get us in, she will stay later to accommodate her clients if need be (she has a sweet family to go home to so we try to not be too late!). The space is calming with nice music in the background (no awful commercials and blaring radio) and the clientele we meet there are friendly and happy to be taken care of by Helen and Kathy. It is a fun experience, we look forward to our pedis every month or so and occasionally will get a mani (always French gel mani for the December holidays). Best French gel ever, precise and even. First downside, they only take cash. Second downside, there are only 2 women there. The owner was very harsh with her only other employee - she wasn't doing anything wrong. My manicure was average. I had asked if they had gel and was told that Shellac was it. Big difference in wear. Everything came off within a week. A first for me. Pretty unprofessional attitude and service. I found Nancy Nails (even though it is owned by Helen ) walking my dog in the area.. I live close and was so happy to find a RELIABLE nail salon' that sterilizes their equipment and such.. My veteranarian goes there too.. and believe me medical people are VERY aware of sanitary measures. On top of it , Helen, and Linda are friendly girls and it is a fun little "escape" to go there and enjoy a little SELF time.. to be pampered for JUST a little while! The foot massages that accompany the spa pedicaures are UM UM GOOD! Only draw back.. I can't go more often! read more
