Typically, I order the chicken poppers and a side of rasta pasta. The chicken poppers are always and I mean ALWAYS cooked perfectly. They are basically smaller versions of chicken tenders. Whenever they arrive to me, they're fried crispy and hot, then tossed it whatever sauce I request. I usually get the honey BBQ sauce but lately I've been testing others and baybeeeee, they have a nice selection! I fell in love with the honey garlic sauce. Whenever I receive my food, it melts nicely onto the chicken, making it sticky sweet. Now, the rasta pasta could use some work. The first time I got it, it was very greasy and lacked flavor. It almost tased like a hot pasta salad, the kind you would get at a cookout or deli. The next time I ordered it, it was perfect. It had a subtle creaminess to it with perfectly cooked bell peppers and a subtle jerk seasoning or something close to it. Third time I ordered it, it was back to subpar. I'll still order it, in hopes that its just as good as that second time. On another note, I've had the mac n' cheese with oxtail. I wasn't a huge fan of the mac n' cheese. It was creamy but there was no pull to the cheese, which I prefer, therefore it kind of fell flat to me. The oxtail however, was heavenly. Very tender with delicious flavor. I also liked that they offer it off the bone. Finally, I would pass on their french fries. They are regular pre-frozen fries, nothing spectacular. Overall, if you are looking for a delicious Caribbean-American fusion, fast-casual restaurant, the sauce-boss wins! Highly recommended.

When the owner picked up the phone she told me deliveries were busy and I told her I figured. Another thing I realized is that if you call the restaurant directly The prices are much cheaper than those delivery apps by a lot. So if you want a delivery and you live close by enough that get regular delivery guys will deliver do it, otherwise I understand you ordering online. The ribs as always were falling off the bone and like an idiot I forgot to ask for Bbq sauce but honestly you didn't even need some that's how good the ribs were. They were charred from the grill as it was just amazing. The coleslaw and baked beans were amazing as always Then she told me that she now has chicken pot pie and would I be interested. To be honest I wasn't sure at first, but she told me I could cook it myself it I wanted she would send me directions. Let me tell you something one of the. Eat have ever tasted. I completely forgot to take a picture cause it was so good. If you order or go in there please tell her I recommend the place and to try everything including her desserts the pies which are to die or kill for

It was a busy Thursday afternoon visiting an old favorite. We sat at the counter space and…read morepatiently waited for 1 of the women to serve us. It was very busy, but they can keep up well. Very pleasant we ordered from the variety of pre made food and one order from the kitchen only menu. We tried the roasted chicken with rice and red beans, 2 chicken Empanadas, and 1 order of fried pork chops with green plaintain (chuleta frita con tostones). Took about 10 minutes to come out, and it was very fresh and delicious. The chops were well seasoned and crispy. The tostones were freshly made and crispy. I put a ton of their homemade mojito (garlic) sauce all over everything, and my son proceeded to follow me with his meal. Their chicken was roasted perfectly. Moist and tender with flavors. They have a huge rotisserie pit behind the wall and out the way to save space. Genius. The Rice and beans were standard yet authentic. The Empanadas were a little dry, but I had to show my eldest about ketchu-mayo lol iykyk, then he liked it. He's a bit inexperienced in the cuchifrito area and almost got a brand drink. I had to cut him off and direct him to the fountain drinks because ,uh-uh, we drink from the house in a great cuchifrito spot son! I got him the passion fruit, and I got my usual sesame seed. He looked at me crazy y'all lmao I let him try my sesame drink, and he was somewhat impressed with it. But he loved his passion fruit already. The service was attentive, and I honestly don't know how the ladies balance it all. He was pleasantly surprised at the bill $32. 2 full large meals, 2 drinks, 2 Empanadas, and 1 alcapurria because I had to grab one when I saw the cook dump a fresh batch. I went home thinking damn I should have grabbed 3 more. They were loading fresh cuchifritos and I shouldn't have held back. Later always comes and left overs are always welcomed. Overall, we both loved it. Even taught him a few things in there. For the culture and the price point he loved it even more. I know for sure we will be back.
