I went all the time to restaurants in Jackson Heights Queens for Tibetan and Nepali food. Order Momos, beef shapta and thenthuk plus other things. Had food here and it didn't come close. Not only was the quality of food not as good but twice the price. Food was bland and didn't taste great. Very disappointed was hoping for some good food. There are no entrees with Yak plus no pocha. As soon as I walked in I felt like family. The decor and feel is beautiful and took me instantly on a journey to Nepal. The Dal is sublime and fragrant, the naan perfection. All spices are hand-ground and the veggies have actual crunch! They would not think of using frozen ingredients and nothing goes in a microwave! Went to try this place tonight, walked in and it smelled great but no hostess to greet customers or seat you. After five minutes someone walked by, noticed us then sat us, gave us menus, filled our glasses with water, asked if I wanted anything to drink other than water at which point I said a sprite. Twenty minutes later no sprite and no one came to take our order. There was only two people serving and they had a full dining room. We ended up leaving without ever having our order taken. The smells from this place literally carry you inside. The lunch we had here today was excellent. Service was above and beyond kind, and accommodating to our needs even with a packed house! The chicken vindaloo (med) was spot on and I tried the momo, which reminded me of Chinese potstickers- but so, so good! From the samosas to the different types of curries to the naan. Everything was awesome!! Really authentic, compares to my home cooking. I ordered the Sekuwa khaja set and it definitely did not disappoint. I was so excited when a 2nd Indian Restaurant opened in the Stuart/Pt St Lucie area. I had a dinner meeting so decided to have it here. The ambiance was nice and The restaurant was decorated very tastefully with an influence from India and Nepal combined. We started off with a beers and glasses of the house Pinot Noir. Apps included the stuffed mushrooms and samosas. Both were flavorful but for some reason there was little or no salt in either dish. Dinner was Lamb Seekh Kabob, Paneer Tikka Masala, Saag Paneer, Lamb Korma, Onion Naan, Keema Naan, Garlic Naan, and Namaste Naan. We ordered the food extra spicy to match everyone's tastes. The overall food quantity was plentiful in large white decorative bowls and arrived fresh and hot. The whole group tried all four entrées and were very pleased with the taste, quality, flavor, the kicked up spice level. It would be fair to say that everyone was stuffed and ready to burst. No good meal is complete without dessert. We ordered the Kulfi, and the Kheer. Both hit the spot. Next time we will try some authentic Nepalese dishes. Stopped in the new location for a quick lunch. Super friendly and prompt service, with lots of smiles. Traditional, yet elegant decor. Only had the chance to try the chicken tikka masala. Very flavorful curry, perfect level of heat (I chose spicy), and good quantity of chicken. Could have used a bit more rice with the meal, although I suspect it would have been provided had I asked. My husband wanted something different than the typical seafood, beach feel meal. So we yelped it and found Namaste, the reviews we read were positive, so we went. What a pleasant surprise, the atmosphere is nice and relaxing, the staff is attentive and pleasant and the food is wonderful. Very nice menu and did I mention the Beer from India isn't bad either. Relative new place went there for lunch with the wife looking for a decent Indian food and we were not disappointed, the somosas were good but the crust was a bit thick after that i had the chicken vindaloo medium spice it was good and plenty my wife had goat curry and it was excellent but not enough rice in both dishes we also had the onion nan worth ordering if you like onions ,overall this is an excellent restaurant will try dinner next time service is good and the place is clean a must try read more

I have been wanting to try this place for some time and finally managed to get here for lunch. I ordered the Papadum served with Chutneys to start. For &3, I was served three crisp, good sized Papadum. They were too salty and one was slightly burned. The Chutneys were unremarkable at best. For lunch I ordered Tadka Daal. It came in a bowl with a small bowl of Basmati rice on the side. It was fine but nothing special. For $10 however it was filling. For dessert I ordered the Khmer. At $5, it was a small portion but the best thing I had tasted so far. The flavor and texture were perfect for this dish. My first experience with Indian food turned out to be a delightful one! I have been to this establishment three times and each time was a great experience. The atmosphere and environment is very nice and clean; the wait wasn't long and the food was worth it! I am a fan of spicy foods, so I ordered the Butter Chicken and it was absolutely delicious. My daughter had the butter chicken mild, it was perfectly prepared and an excellent first try into Indian food. I had the chicken vindaloo spicy, loved it! This is one of mine and my fiance's favorite places to eat!! The atmosphere is beautiful, and especially the outdoor seating (at night). Having lived in NYC for quite some time and Indian being my cuisine of choice, I was pleasantly surprised. It was nice to sit outside in those comfy chairs under the umbrellas. The service was exceptional and the staff super friendly. I loved the samosas and garlic naan (Maybe better than Basera in NYC) and the level of spiciness lives up to its advertisement. The lamb vindaloo was delicious (but sorry, not as tasty as Basera in NYC), as was the butter chicken makhani (but sorry, not as tasty as Basera in NYC). Still. Being 1,200 miles away from NYC, this is a place I will return to. read more

We were visiting Hutchinson island and decided to go to namaste for dinner. It was an awesome experience. Raj was fantastic and very courteous. We actually planned on going back the next day for lunch but didn't make it in time prior to their closing time.
