Found this gem when strolling around while my car was being serviced. What a fabulous find! The atmosphere is really charming , very clean and calming. I was greeted by the owner who also waited on me. He really provided an excellent overview and education of the various dishes. I tried the black lentil soup- which was so extraordinary! The depth of flavor was amazing. I had the Bombay Calamari appetizer- a nice balance of spice and heat. For dessert had a taste of the rice pudding- smooth, creamy and delicious! So I am from Miami, just moved to Hobe, Sound. Was missing my favorite Indian spot in Miami and was looking for Indian food with my husband. We are big foodies and our Indian food standards are extremely high so we were a little skeptical when I came across Bolly Twist. Been meaning to check this out ever since I came across their great reviews.... and now I know why they are rated so well. Good food and great management/ownership involvement. I like seeing that. The food is pretty good too. With Indian food it has been my experience that it's either pretty bad, or it's pretty good. Bolly Twist is definitely pretty good in my opinion. What I liked most: The ownership engagement with customers. What I liked least: while it wasn't worthy of making a big deal out if it, I do belive a cleaning of the place is what kept me from doing 5 stars. It could use a refreshening up. read more

I wish there was an option for a negative review. Used to be a decent place to dine with good food. Over year, the food quality has been horrible. Done expect a service. Service staffs are arrogant. Had been going to the place so many times with expectation it's must've been a rough day for both kitchen and service staff. But I am don't giving anymore tries. My first time here and I was thoroughly delighted! The foods are presented hot, taste incredible and only the freshest ingredients are used. The owner served me a complimentary soup which was tasty. I ordered the Vegetable Samosa, the chicken Saag and Garlic Naan. Samosas are hard to get wrong but for me, the key is the sauces served with them. These were traditional and very flavorful. Rice presented perfectly which only served to highlight the Chicken Saag. The flavors here were wonderful and I cannot wait to eat my leftovers. The portions are generous and overall, this was a very pleasant surprise. I shall definitely return. Garlic Naan was a little thick for my preference but the flavors were very nice. I was introduced to this establishment by a friend and since then, I have brought no less than 10 new folks in to introduce them to Indian food. Most had never tried it. SCW and I have been dining at Bolly Twist for a while now. Suffice it to say Bolly Twist is our favorite Indian restaurant on the treasure coast. The menu is great with a variety of dishes for both carnivores and vegetarians and vegans. The service here is outstanding. The interior is clean and spacious, lots of indoor and some outdoor seating available. I really enjoy their unsweetened ice tea. The Gobi Manchurian is always delicious and flavorful without being greasy. Every dish I've tried here is delicious. If you like spice, let them know. They will deliver. They have a lunch special as well for both meat eaters and vegetarians and vegans. It's delicious and very generous portions. Do yourself a favor and dine in or carry out at Bolly Twist. read more

We tried Bolly Twist for the first time last night. The restaurant was clean and the staff was really friendly and attentive. We started with samosas. There were two to an order. They were piping hot and so flavorful. My partner was new to Indian cuisine so I did the ordering. We tried the chicken tandoori and the lamb Rogan Josh. The chicken fell off the bone. The sauce that came with the chicken complimented it so nicely. The lamb was tender and fell apart. Both were excellent. The naan was buttery and delicious as well. We will def be back. read more

Our Indian choice for a restaurant. Very welcoming. Always clean. Food is generous and delicious. We get a little treat right after we sit down. My friend had Mango Curry Shrimp and I had the Tikka Masala Shrimp. Such generous portions (for two, I think) that we each took the other half and had another meal for the next day. Location is convenient with parking around. The indoor is casual. The service is quick and accurate. The food was good except for one dish we ordered which was the paneer masala. It was sweet tasting and just not what I was expecting from that dish. We've had this dish in numerous other places and I just don't think the sweetness needed to be there. Or it should say in the description that it's sweet. Mango lassi was thick and rich. Very tasty. I loved the samosa chat. I loved that they cut them into pieces for you. Easier to eat that way. I eat a lot of Indian food and this is the best Indian restaurant in the area. They also have some specialty dishes that are hard to find like dosa. The Dosa is a must try. It's like a large crepe with crispy edges, rolled with a delicious filling in the middle. The masala chai tea is also very good with all the spices, so fragrant and cozy like a warm hug. Following our first time take out from Bolly Twist, we decided to dine in with friends on a Saturday night. As others have said, the place is clean and the servers are friendly and helpful. We started with fried cauliflower and a spicy chicken appetizer. Both were delicious and shareable amongst us four. I tried the mango lassi; fresh mango purée and yogurt. Delicious, creamy and tempers the heat of the dishes. Our table ordered butter chicken, mango curried chicken and goat pepper fry-all with 4 of 10 spice level. Not too spicy and we all agreed we could have stepped it up another notch. The goat pepper fry was very good but next time I'll order a curry dish as others roundly lauded the combination of flavors and spices. We ordered two naans; cheese and garlic. Sufficient for the table and excellent in taste. One of the owners visited our table and described the made in house desserts. We chose the mango ice cream, dotted with chopped maraschino cherries. Creamy and delicious. And the Indian doughnuts, three lightly fried balls of sweet dough bobbing in a honey syrup and slivered almonds. Unique and a must try. Horrible! My 2 daughters and I all got extremely sick after eating saag paneer on Wed. My pregnant daughter spent all Thanksgiving day in a hospital getting IV fluids and trying to stop her contractions. We are all still suffering 5 days later. I'd give negative 5 stars if possible. It was my birthday and my friend wanted to take me somewhere, I've never been. The customer service was amazing. Sam the waiter was hilarious. He made us laugh the whole entire time. Found this place by accident. What very tasty Indian food. A little on the expensive side but very tasty. We had the madhi chicken and chicken biryani, the samosas and an order on naan. To drink the chai tea and a mango lassi. That cost me $87 (this includes tip). The food came out fast we left quite satisfied. That one reviewer who scored them low for lack of flavor clearly has a medical issue that needs to be checked out. Flavor was not an issue. Would eat here again. No question. read more

I haven't had food from an Indian Restaurant since I was in London, but my Grandaughter recommended this place and said it was "Amazing" so we decided to give it a try. We went a bit early but they do not open until 5pm so we waited. Upon arrival we noticed how sparkling clean the place was and we thought it had just opened. Turns out they have been here for over 2 years so I was doubly impressed with the cleanliness. It smelled great too. We needed a little bit of help with the menu since we are not familiar with this type of food and the waiter was so nice and very helpful. We ordered Butter Naan which arrived to our table piping hot and light as a feather. (very delicious pita type bread made on site). The owner, a beautiful lady wearing authentic Indian attire, came to our table frequently to check on us and she actually helped us decide on our entrees. I opted for one of their specials, Chicken Tikki Masala served with white rice and it was absolutely tender and delicious. I can't remember ever having such fresh, tasty chicken. It was cooked in a very light creamy tomato base that was ever so slightly sweet. My husband ordered Chicken Tikka (cooked Tandoori style) and served with vegetables and rice. This dish is more of a grilled chicken texture but the spices were amazing and the quality was so fresh and it was perfectly cooked, (served with a similar tomato cream sauce on the side.) After talking with the owner at length, she explained that all of the dishes were prepared by chefs exclusively trained from India. She also told us that it is extremely expensive to have these chefs because they are so highly trained in this type of cooking. We saw so many interesting dishes being prepared and I know that our next visit is going to be a tasty and exciting experience. They have vegetarian dishes, seafood, chicken,Biryani, Indo-Chinese, as well as lamb and goat. The food does not disappoint and I can't wait to return to this unique and lovely place.
