The first time I ate food from Namaste Grill it was takeout a few months ago. Chicken Tika that was so extremely sweet it was inedible. I decided to give it another try and went for lunch recently . To sample more of their cooking, I decided to try the buffet. It was sketchy at best. Even though the buffet was open, it was not well-maintained and the food, what there was left of it, was dry. I was offered a booth and when I finally did find a plate to use at the buffet and bring it back to my table, I found I had no place setting. I finally had to go take one off of another table. Upon opening it I found out that the cloth napkin was actually dirty. My water glass was still turned upside down and empty even though there was a waitress filling water for other diners. I finally had to flag her down to get her attention and get water. She apologized, but she never came back to refill. I have had the opportunity to eat wonderful Indian food in many cities. This does not measure up in any way. The oddest thing was that I tried the chicken Tika again because it was on the buffet. This time it wasn't overly sweet, it was simply bland. Even a trip to the restroom turned up more disarray in terms of no way to dry one's hands except a roll of damp paper towels sitting beside the sink because the containers were empty. The general state of the restaurant seemed disorganized and dirty. I seriously do not understand the good reviews and wonder who wrote them If the service had been good, if the restaurant had been clean, or even if it seemed like someone cared, I wouldn't have bothered to write this review. 3 Stars is generous. read more

Had the Momo and Lamb Korma for lunch. Both dishes were fresh, tender and with a nice delicate taste. Very friendly wait staff greeted with "Namaste". Four stars only because we were not checked on during the meal and not provided more water. read more

Very comfortable outside seating - plenty of room. Inside is big but we choose to sit out side. Staff wearing masks. The food was delicious. The veggie pakora was crispy and flavorful. Chef Ramesh Bryrani-goat and shrimp was delicious and so filling! Bajeko Goat Sekuwa was delicious and well presented- lot of meat. The aloo gobi it was typical and good. Try the bullet naan is was great! Never saw on menu before and it was made with India chillis. The beer that they recommended was good and very cold...yum! Exceeded expectations and we are from NYC. Not happy with dinner at all . A little girl at the front was very nice but the place smelled like mothballs . The Pompa Don was awful. The lamb chef special was delicious. However you need too order an extra one because everyone enjoy it and you will never have enough.

This use to be a favorite restaurant of mine but the food was below par during my last 3 visits. It was clear the lamb saag had been sitting and maybe had 3 little chunks of lamb. Extremely disappointing. But happy to report last nights naan was perfect; lamb saag was better but sparse with the lamb. Very inconsistent of late. I hope they get their mojo back. Went to this place craving for some Nepali food. In the state of Florida there are only two restaurants that cater Himalayan food and this one happens to be the better option but that does not say much as the quality of the staple food called "Momos" in this place is very average and overly priced. A momo aka Nepali dumpling shouldn't be 80cents per momo that's crazy expensive. The only thing that was decent was the "chili chicken" I would recommend that. Went to the new location next to Too Jay's this past friday and was very happy i did. Started with garlic naan bread w raita, the thin tzaziki-like sauce and loved the flavor. I also ordered a salad which was thick and rugged, with chuck of red onion, cucumbers and toasted naan chips i believe Again really good starter salad. 2 could share this easily. for lunch i had the chicken choilla medium spice. served in a funky old skool tin lunch tray i really loved the flavors of the ginger, cilantro and everything else. you must keep in mind that the meat is slow cooked for a long time so can be tougher than what comes fresh off the grill it took a couple bites to get used to but then no issue I am excited to go back for sure! read more

Have been to namaste 3 times & every time we have visited the food has been deliciously tasty. You can order from mild tho really super spicy & I love spicy! Waiter service has been great and they are always very accommodating. Love all the chicken dishes, lentils, veggies, and appetizers. "Yummy!" A must place for lunch or dinner. OK as ya'll know from my past reviews, I LOVE food!!!! Ha! Besides that, I look at everything .... I'll just start by saying this place has it ALL! Please allow me to elaborate.... me, the Mrs., and the kids were visiting the area at a close by family fun center. It was about 2:00 that we decided for some vegetarian food....my wife recently converted to vegetarianism which NEVER came up in the interview (I mean...when we were dating! ) So anyway I called and they said they close at 2:30 for lunch and to get there when we can. Packed everyone and drove there and got to the place at 2:25.... I was so pleasantly surprised that there were able to accommodate and sat us! Very nice zen place! The server recommended some good stuff (I LOVE when the server is confident and says try this.. it's GOOD!) and THANK GOD he did!!!! I tell you what... every single dish was amazing!!!!! My 5 y.o. son doesn't eat anything so his out! He just had some bread and water (OMG... his bread was Naaan with some coconut thingy... so good! I had most of it).... my daughter (8 y.o.) eats everything & went with the server's recommendation and for the popsicle chicken (I think he called it that) OMG!!!!!! Most freaking tender and tasty thing I have ever had!!!! My dish, the vegetarian Korma... TO DIE FOWW!!! And my wife's was some Okra thingy... awesome!!!! My daughter also got the yogurt mango... wow!!!!! Believe me if anything was bad, I'd tell you!!!!! Everything was good! Everything!!!! And to make the long story short, the tea on the way out .... oh damn!!! So good!!!! And I don't like tea! Seriously! Anyway , A+ on service from the initial phone call to walking out !!!! I am an avid lover of Indian food and was so excited to see that a new Indian restaurant had opened in the area. I finally got a chance to check it out this week. First, I will say that the place is very clean and inviting. We sat on the patio and even though you're right on the road, the ambiance is pleasant. I really enjoyed the setting. The staff was exceptionally friendly. I found the service to be superior. Our order was taken within minutes of sitting down and we had food and drinks on our table quickly. For these reasons, I would definitely go back to Namaste Grill. As for the food itself, I found it to be very lacking in flavor. As we ate our samosas, I felt very disappointed in how bland they tasted. I said nothing as I waited for my husband's opinion. We split an order of naan and a butter chicken dish and about three bites in, he said to me "This is good, but it could really use some salt." I agreed. As is typical of Indian restaurants, the dishes were a bit pricey ($13 + for an entrée). I felt like we barely had enough rice to split between two people, but the chicken dish was plentiful. One entrée, an order of naan and an appetizer was PLENTY of food for the two of us. I wish the food was more flavorful. Compared to India Palace, the other local option, the food is not nearly as good. However, both the atmosphere and service are far superior. I'd say, for a nice night out, go to Namaste Grill (but maybe sneak a little salt in with you.) ;) read more

Charming cute little place located in Stuart. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Namaste although I did order to go, the service was just as friendly as if I were dining in. I went all the time to restaurants in Jackson Heights Queens for Tibetan and Nepali food. Order Momos, beef shapta and thenthuk plus other things. Had food here and it didn't come close. Not only was the quality of food not as good but twice the price. Food was bland and didn't taste great. Very disappointed was hoping for some good food. There are no entrees with Yak plus no pocha. Just got back from a trip to Nepal - THESE GUYS ARE AMAZING. Fresh spices, fresh meats and veggies. GET THE CHICKEN CHHOILA. It's a curry dish with like 4/5 different parts that you mix/match into your rice. I prefer the chicken, but they have tons of veggie and traditional foods. Whenever I get nostalgic about my trip to the Himalayas, I order food from Namaste Grill. Love Love Love this place. Check it out, get creative, but beware the spice.
