I told her I had this grocery stores in Lubbock, TX, bookmarked and we could just pick up some cookies and a cake or something for her sister who had her final 6th grade band concert later that night. She obliged. We were visiting from a small town and were blown away by this place. It was incredibly clean. All of the employees were smiling and busy. The produce section was immaculate. We were getting short on time so we didn't get to go to many sections, but the flower shop was great. I'm not vegan but my sister-in-law is and she would love this place. There were tons of options. We walked away hysterically with just over 1 lb. of "scratch M&M cookies" (20-ct for $5.99) and a super cute 5-inch chocolate cake ($14.99). Busy place. I think my rewards number ties in with Albertsons Market (The United Family). TIPS + there are two other locations in Lubbock, but this is the only one.... + *** Open 24 Hours ***

Overall Experience Came here with my girlfriend thinking…read morethis would be more of a specialty matcha spot. Overall it was an okay experience, just not what I expected. Drinks and Matcha This place feels more like a Starbucks than a true matcha café. The drinks they advertise are kind of strange, and they do not really highlight matcha. They mostly categorize it as green tea, which I think makes it difficult for people who are really into matcha. I tried the matcha and the café latte. Both were alright. Not the best I have had, but not bad either. Food I had the beef bulgogi burrito for breakfast. It was good, but smaller than what the photos on the menu showed, which felt falsely advertised. Service and Atmosphere Service was great. The girl handling my order was very friendly. Decent sized coffee shop inside a shopping outlet, and there were a lot of families when I went. I would recommend it as a quick stop if you want coffee, but not for someone who is really into matcha.

The spices are stronger than the others but not over-powering. The shrimp are always cooked just right. I always enjoy the papaya salad. It is not as sour as any that I have had but still enjoyable as a savory palate cleanser. I don't get it with the chicharrones since I do not like having them soggy from the juices. The Lao sausages too are very good. I can taste the lemongrass, kaffir lime and galangal (?), I think. I would definitely like a little bit more heat though. They go so very well with the slight tartness of the papaya salad and just hot steamed rice! The place is also clean and airy inside. It just adds a better atmosphere for me. The staff are definitely very friendly, helpful and cheerful. You won't find them in a rush to serve you.

The donuts sell out pretty fast and they close just after noon. For my part, I don't really like these kinds of donuts. When I get a hankerin', Krispy Kreme is choice number one. But if you want big, plump donuts, plus a broad selection including things like bearclaws and eclairs, this might be the better place for you. The prices are probably also better here.
