I've been wanting to try this place for a while and I left in tears because i was so excited and was so disappointed. They did a good job on the quality of nails, but did not do what i asked. The Pinterest picture is what i wanted (just on one nail) and the second picture is what she did. When she went to do the design i tried to take out my phone to show her the photo again and she said "no i don't need it i know what to do" and then just kinda did her own thing. Of course I didn't say anything because im a people pleaser. She also would not stop asking to give me a pedicure even though i kept saying i don't want one because i literally have a broken foot.

Bloody cuticles

For the love of cuticles, do not come here!!! Wendy absolutely ripped my cuticles to shreds and did a less than mediocre job on my acrylic set. Half of my nails are extremely crooked with my natural nail exposed underneath. She used the drill straight on my cuticles and made them bleed. Based on the other reviews, it seems like she does this often--quickly wiping the blood away with rubbing alcohol. She deserves to lose her license and definitely doesn't deserve any more business!

Dark navy gel mani, perfection!

I went to Nails on Huntington today and it was the first time I've gotten my nails done since before COVID, and I was so impressed. The place was super clean just from a general perspective, and I felt like they had really good COVID procedures, it was really thoughtful and I felt completely safe going there. I got a gel mani and regular pedi. I've tried a couple different Boston area places for gel manis and been pretty disappointed in the past, so I'm extra pleased with how this turned out. Additionally, after many years as a dancer, and now as a runner, my toenails/toes are sort of weirdly shaped and they were so great at gently cleaning them up and getting them looking as good as they can be! The prices seemed pretty comparable for the area, I did not think it was overpriced at all, especially considering the cleanliness and good service. I will be returning for sure and would definitely recommend!

Dip powder manicure

Mixed feeling about nails on Huntington. I didn't have an appointment, but I came for a walk in and the staff was so friendly and only had me wait less than 10 minutes. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and overall appearance of the salon, but the nail tech who did my nails was very rough. I felt like she was rushing to finish them and did not pay any attention to detail. The nails looked okay, but overall I wasn't thrilled.

Pedicure - not too bad
Bonnie C.

Had a pedi and mani done here and thought they did a good job but I wouldn't say excellent or perfect job. The pedicure was nice - they used a scrub and a leg mask so I enjoyed that, can't really complain about the pedicure especially for $30. Following the pedicure, I got a manicure with Essie nail polish for $18 and thought this could have been better. After a day, my nails started to chip and the polish already started to wear off. They also cut my nails a bit too short so that wasn't too pleasant. The reason why I would come back is due to its location and how it's right off the green line and for their pedicure. On the other hand, it's a pretty spacious and clean salon that doesn't smell badly of nail polish

Eda did an amazing job on my nails! This salon was recommended to me by a friend and I finally decided to give it a try since the prices are really affordable. I made an appointment for a dip powder full set (only $50) and Eda and her team were welcoming and accommodating from the second I walked in. She's very thoughtful as she does your nails and checks in with you at every point to make sure you like the shape, length, and color. The only downside is that I wish they had done a proper job with cuticle softening and removal, but I absolutely adore my nails and will be back!

Eda did my nails and they looks so great!!

This nail salon is very convenient located at the corner of Huntington and S Huntington Ave accessible by the Green E line (@ Riverway), 39 bus (@ S Huntington), and 66 bus (@ Huntington/Riverway). It is brand new, opened in the fall of 2018. About a 10-15 minute walk from the Longwood Medical Area, which is really nice for me. I have had a wonderful experience here. It is very clean, white, bright white decor. There are 6 pedicure chairs so plenty of space. They do not do waxing here, as a side note. They offer all sorts of manicure options with a large selection of colors and predominantly OPI based. The owner, Eda, is my go-to person. She is so nice and makes an effort to always speak in English to her coworkers so that it does not make clients feel uncomfortable. Her daughter My is very welcoming and is very sweet. They make an effort to remember my name and what I like which is such a wonderful personal note. In October when they first opened, I walked by and asked if I could make an appointment for myself and 5 of my girlfriends. They of course explained that they did not have that many workers but were more than willing to accommodate us. We didn't mind waiting as it was a *girl's night,* and we were spending time with each other. They essentially closed down the nail salon for us, and then provided us with snacks, desserts (brownies and cheesecake bites), and drinks (water and soda). It was a tiny gesture to them but a HUGE appreciation from us for their efforts. Their pedicures are $30. They do offer a 10% student discount with a valid ID. I do think their pedicures are slightly more expensive than the Boston area (~$25) but that extra five dollars is so worth it for their kindness and cleanliness. They do a GREAT job and the polish always last me 3 weeks. I would HIGHLY recommend this place, and I have since refused to go anywhere else but here.

I was looking for a new nail spot that was local clean and affordable and decided to give them a try and I am pleasantly surprised the customer service is very friendly and welcoming and it's definitely a great Change it was nice to bnb have an appointment and to be seen on time. The staff was friendly I will definitely be returning!

Wendy did a great job! OPI Gel Polish in "Strawberry Margarita"

I got a matching gel mani-pedi here with Wendy (as a birthday treat to myself), and had an awesome time! I have very sensitive skin, and she took great care to treat my hands and feet gently. I usually get my nails done maybe twice a year, but I already have made an appointment for a new gel color in 2 weeks with Wendy! Thanks for a relaxing birthday nail experience :)

My thumb looks like it was done by a 5 yr old.

Wendy did a terrible job. These are hard gel w/ tips $60. The pictures say it all. Also, she used a dremel to remove my cuticles. They look awful. Literally every nail is lumpy. I will never go back to this shop. This is the worst manicure of my life, I'm so disappointed.

French Gel by Eden

I live across the street so it's convenient for me to get to location wise. Interior of the place is cute and place is clean. Staff is friendly. Prices are reasonable. * Also, at the moment for any college students if you show your school ID there's a 10% discount on services (not sure which ones), but it worked for me on my french gel manicure) Eden (If I'm recalling her name correctly) did a beautiful job on my nails. Will be returning : ) Thanks guys : )

This place is awful, I got the feeling throughout my dip manicure that the nail technician had no idea what she was doing. My dip nails have streaks, are lumpy and have an overall uneven application. She also took over an hour on natural nails. Awful! Burned my nail bed with the electric file, stay away!

I just walked out of the salon, this is how they look... not a 100% happy.

They're willing to show you a few colors/design, allowing you to compare the designs before they start and finalize it. This way, you know you will be pleased with the final product. The designs are also unique -- they have the trendy "jelly" colors and can do unique cat eye nail designs, and the amount of jewel options to choose from is amazing. :) Definitely a lot more fun than a typical gel design! The person working on my nails worked extremely quickly sanding off the gel to the point that my natural nails were left damaged and rough from being sanded down. It's been two months and my nails are still breaking off from the damaged portion of my nails growing off. Then came the price. Throughout the removal the staff kept asking each other how much to charge me since they didn't know the price of this service. They ended up charging me $40.. you can get this service for $20 or even less for only gel removal.

I was having my car detailed right around the corner before a weekend away and figured, why not treat myself? I booked a facial (which I've never done before) and a gel mani-pedi on their website for first thing in the morning. They texted me as soon as they opened to adjust my appointment times and were extremely accommodating. The inside is very calm and clean and well-decorated. There is a really pretty flower-adorned back wall, too, so if you're an Instagram person you'll have a great back-drop for selfies in here. I ended up having my facial first, and WOW. Never realized they could be so relaxing! Helen was amazing. I seriously felt like I was in a trance for the rest of the appointment and my skin looked so fantastic and fresh. My mani-pedi was quick (which I appreciate so much, as I get antsy during those usually) but they did a fantastic job even with my little nails. Over a week later, and my nails are growing in but still no scratches, chips, or peeling whatsoever. Plus, their prices are very reasonable. If you're looking for a treat-yourself little spa day without breaking the bank, definitely make an appointment at Brookline Beauty with these lovely ladies. You will NOT be disappointed. Can't wait to return!

I went here last month and honestly had one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a nail salon…read more My nails came out lumpy, uneven, and horribly shaped, they were filed down way too much to the point where the skin under my nails actually hurt. On top of that, they started chipping after just three days, which is ridiculous. The salon itself was also extremely dirty, there were piles of clutter everywhere, nothing looked sanitized, the tools were visibly dirty, and there was nail dust covering pretty much every surface. It felt really unhygienic and uncomfortable the entire time. I would give this place zero stars if I could. I don't know how on earth this place has four stars.

I am still in pain the next day with visible wounds on multiple fingers. Running water over my hands hurts. Attaching images of the worst cut. I have been getting my nails done regularly for over ten years, and this was the worst experience I've ever had. I didn't have time to drive an hour to my usual salon. I'm concerned about infection and shocked this service cost $120. My hands were hit by the drill multiple times, skin cut with cuticle scissors, and my appointment (hard gel on natural nails) was over 3 hours for one color. Usually two hours with removal at other salons. My tech seemed nervous and novice. Other patrons had full, decorative sets with tips started and finished during my appointment window. Stuff was getting wiped off my nails like she forgot the order (which can give you a gel allergy), and the gel was so lumpy and thick it had to be filed down. I'm generally really people-pleasing and tried to be understanding, but wanted to cry after my appointment. "Sorry" from your tech gets old after 5+ hits and a cut that keeps bleeding. She disappeared towards the end of my appointment, and the receptionist offered me a $20 ring from the accessories table when I checked out as consolation. I asked if I could get $20 back on the service instead and was told no. I tipped because I felt bad this girl might lose her job but I really feel she shouldn't be licensed. Nail Monster is lucky I'm not litigious, and I'm really hoping I don't get an infection.
