I was on vacation and needed to get my nails and toes done. A friend suggested I come here and based on Yelp reviews, I made an appointment with Cathy. The place is really clean which is always great. The salon was quite busy but Cathy did not rush, I've been rushed at a salon before because they were busy. Cathy was so friendly and nice, she reminded me of my mom. Cathy massaged my hand after too, bonus! I opted for the spa pedicure (chair has massage) they also offer the regular pedicure. I was very pleased with my gel nails and pedicure. Prices are very reasonable and comparable to what I would pay at home in a small city. NM also offers waxing and threading. They also offer complimentary wifi! NM also plays background classical music which makes the ambience very relaxing. I would definitely recommend coming here! read more

This has been my GO TO nail salon for years whenever I'm in the area visiting family! What I love the most about coming here is the consistency and excellent customer service. I have never left the salon unsatisfied because they are very diligent in their work and pay close attention to detail to make sure I absolutely love my nails before I leave. In addition to the wonderful job they do, they are also a family-owned business and everyone I've encountered that works here is so warm, kind, and always so pleasant! Currently with COVID-19, they have started doing nails outside and while I miss sitting in their super comfortable massage chairs, I absolutely love the outdoor nail experience they've created. They have done such a wonderful and efficient job doing manicures/pedicures outside all while ensuring their customers safety! Love this place!! Worst customer service I've ever had. After cutting the first nail I told the nail tech they were too short she continued to cut all my nails on my right hand shirt then made the bails on my left hand long I kept saying they are too short she kept saying she'd fix it. Needless to say she never fixed it and one hand was long the other was short then immediately after finishing I noticed all my nails were lifting she argued and said no they are not so I popped a nail off instead of feeling bad she was mad put a new nail on that immediately started to lift she didn't not do anything to fix my nails but file until I started to bleed. Came in yesterday and was asked if I had an appointment. I did not. They took me anyway after a short 10 min wait. I asked for a pedicure with callous remover. She sat me in a chair and told me to put my feet in a plastic bin. I guess I have to specify "spa pedicure" in order to be seated in the fancy seats. I don't know, it was weird. I felt I was being an inconvenience to them. Gal did my pedicure. Mediocre at best. The callous remover was not done properly. I specified I needed a good ole scrub. There was an issue with the gel color I picked. And my nails cracked. Kathy is incredible. She fixed immediately after seeing my post. She was so detailed and so sweet. So was her daughter. Never coming here again. Came almost 3 weeks ago to get a pedicure and the next day, my toe was extremely swollen and red and infected. The doctor told me they definitely cut incorrectly into my cuticles and cut them wrong leaving me with a horrible infection. My toe still hurts and the skin around my nail is completely white. After going to countless nails salons I have finally found one that I can keep coming to. I have never had an issue with the final result of the work nor the service. I, usually have Kathy do my nails every time I go but any of the other girls are good too. They make sure you come out happy by asking you how you want your nails done. They also do not try to up sell you like other places do. I mean, yeah, they'll ask if you want a pedicure but they drop it after you say no. I have been to a place in Glendora where they charged me $5 extra to take off the acrylic/gel polish. I didn't know about this hidden charge til the end when I was ready to pay. Anyways, the point here is that Nails Max don't give you hidden charges for anything and they are always upfront. Note: They charge you $1 if you use a credit card but they tell you beforehand. read more

They listen to what you want and make sure you are happy with the end result. They point out all the charges and let you decide if you want to pay. I'm no girly girl who gets her nails done all the time. But I know a good business when I see one. Better yet, the service was awesome! I dont know what these 1-starers are complaining about! I've gone there a few times. Two time was for acrylics and one time was for gel/maincure. Each time, the lady (owner) was friendly and very attentive to my needs. She did a pretty amazing job because my nails lasted longer than when I had gotten them done at other nail salons. Also it wasnt like one nail was shorter than the other or one looked lopsided. I've had those issues at other places. Here they were clean, even, and meticulously done. I was very pleased all three times :) Price is reasonable. Not overpriced from what I remember. Unfortunately, I'm from Irvine and I dont get a chance to drop by San Dimas very often so it has been while since I've been there, but the next time I'm in town, I will definitely be dropping in here for my nails to be done! :D read more

Wow! There is something about a good southern California manicure/pedicure! They just know exactly how to treat your feet! My sister Pooja B. comes here all the time and she's quite the character so I try to name drop all the time like "yeaaa I'm her sister!" They gave me a free pen for the new year and they were so detailed with my toes! My design was gorgeous, the pedi lasts a long time, and the lady also gave me a French manicure. My nails are so healthy! I want them to move to the Bay Area. The service is great and they also take credit cards. The massage chairs are lovely and the best part about this place is the customer service. They really want to get to know their customers. Totally Not a quick rushing type of a job, but super detail oriented, and very patient. Would recommend her services to anyone going in. Garbage. I LOVE getting my nails done but this is not the place. I've been here enough times to have tried everybody and I have not like any of them. As a guy I used to think it was weird coming here. But then I'd see other guys come in every so often to get pedicures and realized it was actually more common than I thought. One day I figured I might as well have my feet cleaned while I wait for my girlfriend. They did such a good job and thoroughly scrubbed my callouses away and it didn't even tickle! Now I come here all the time and get the spa so I can enjoy the back massage. I once came at the end of the day with my girlfriend and we were the only customers. I needed my eyebrows waxed before going out and found this place after work. The lady who did my eyebrows was Kathy and she was the sweetest! My eyebrows were a little uneven from the previous person who threaded my brows. Kathy was able to even them out! She was quick and very tidy. Didn't care for this place at all. The inside and decor isn't that nice and there was a fly flying around when I was getting my nails done. I know that's not horrible but it bugged me. I got a gel manicure. I got black and it wasn't super opaque. The lady only did two coats of the black and you could still see through it. She was going to leave it like that and I had to ask her to do one more coat. When my manicure was all done I noticed that there was bubbles and some streaks on my nails. I've been a loyal customer to this place for years since it's right down the street from where I live. I always make my appointments with Kim because she gives THE best massages that last quite a while and doesn't cost extra. I think she just enjoys doing it because when I've gotten other girls to do my nails before, they don't massage nearly as well nor as long. The ladies are always very nice to me and my mom whenever we come, and they're always attentive to our needs. The only minor complaint I have is that the appointments generally don't start on time, and I find myself waiting anywhere from 10-20 minutes extra. It's only because they're still tied up with another customer, and it's only an issue when I have places to be afterwards.
