I am very disappointed in this salon. Yes, the people are very nice, but several are not particularly competent; manicures are sometimes sloppy and there is so much chatting going on that the appointments take forever. The atmosphere is casual to the point of being very blase about their customers. I have had manicurists taking cell phone calls in the middle of a manicure, file my nails down to nubs (sorry, I wasn't watching them like a hawk), shown up for appointments that they had written in on the wrong day ("oh, would you like to make an appointment for another day?" asked the owner. Sorry; but no. Not after driving in rush hour traffic for an hour to get there on time. Maybe it's too much to expect professionalism here, but after several disappointments, I am not going back. read more

I have traveled extensively around the world and have had ample spa treatments and I still return time and time again to this hidden, unassuming gem in a sleepy town on the North Shore. Margaret (the facialist) and Nick (the Masseuse) go above and beyond every time to ensure a fantastic experience. STAY AWAY!! I have had ALOT of Mani/Pedi's in my days! My husband and I just relocated to the area and I was trying to find a new nail salon. This place was so gross! The girl who did mine had really bad hygiene, she kept wiping her nose from allergies and I never once saw her wash her hands! After my pedicure she literally shook the towel with all the nail/cuticle trimmings onto the area rug. Plus the price was $60!!! For a BASIC Mani/Pedi!! When I asked her why so expensive, she said "you are in Ipswich now." If it had felt like a true Spa experience it would have been well worth it! And this morning 2 of my nails already chipped! It hasn't even been 24 hours! Save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else! read more

The worst pedicure I've ever received. The "technician" cut my skin on two different toes, and I bled! I told her she was hurting me, and she didn't even acknowledge me. She put rubbing alcohol on my feet after that, so it hurt even more! It's almost beside the point to mention that she did a lousy job trimming cuticles and cleaning up my feet in general. I have tried this salon several times because people keep getting me gift certificates here, but I've been disappointed every time. Sloppy work and the employees just gossip about each other the whole time. she also put so much lotion on my legs during my pedicure that it was caked on and I had to take a shower when I got home. The customer sitting in the chair next to me even noticed. Very unprofessional and bad service. I've had to tell my relatives to stop buying me gift certificates to this salon because I can't bring myself to go there. read more
