today was my first experience at Nails Done. it was also my pedicurists first day. Her hands were shaking while she cut my cuticles, the massage was no massage, the experience was minimal. I payed 80 dollars for a mani pedi which at a regular place I would pay 40. it took over an hour and a half and I left without my nails painted. I am very disappointed in the customer service I received at this salon, specifically from the owner Mila! I had an appt for a gel overlay + nail art, when I got there I showed my nail artist a pic of what I wanted and she said she could do it. The gel overlay manicure she did was amazing. However the nail art was drastically different from what I asked for. I ended up just paying for it and leaving, but when I got in my car I realized I was not okay with paying over $100 for a manicure I wasn't truly happy with. So I went back and told them I wasn't happy with the nail art and asked politely if they could remove the nail art and do a solid color. The owner Mila then came up to me and had a very negative and confrontational attitude. I ended up leaving without getting it fixed and getting a refund on the nail art instead because I was so uncomfortable with the way I was spoken to. I would expect a salon that charges so much for a manicure to have much better customer service and should want all their clients to leave fully satisfied with their service. I will definitely not be returning. I do want to say that the nail artist and the front desk receptionist were amazing, it was just the owner who made this a very unpleasant experience. read more

I went to the salon on Saturday after making an appointment and prepaying for the mani/pedi. Based on the reviews you'd think this is a wonderful salon, filled with competent technicians and a comfortable relaxing atmosphere. The actual salon is not comfortable - for the pedi you are on an elevated platform in a chair that doesn't recline. The entire experience was not relaxing. The mani was actually painful. Several of my cuticles are still bleeding and no lotion was applied after my nails were trimmed and buffed. I emailed the salon owner and no response. The salon voice mail box was full. Please don't be taken in by the reviews. read more

I'm still new to North County and didn't know a good place to go for nails, so I found this place on google and decided to give it a try. I'm really glad I did because I had a great experience today. Upon walking in, the shop was extremely clean and not cluttered at all. DeDe helped me today with a half-moon gel manicure that I absolutely adore! DeDe was extremely friendly and made sure that I was comfortable and satisfied with my manicure. Even though my cuticles were horribly overgrown, I didn't bleed at all or feel any pain when she took care of them. The end result was amazing and I loved it! Bonus: they also offer complimentary beverages with your nail service -- I got a black tea. I've never had a favorite nail salon because most that I've been to have been lackluster. She took incredible care to insure each nail was even in length and shape. My cuticles were trimmed to perfection. The polish and gel were free from bumps or ridges. I have been going here for quite a while now. I used to do gel overlay and pedi every 2-3 weeks, lately just pedicures. The services are pricey, especially after you leave a nice tip... but no complaints on paying a premium if I don't have to wait and my nails look ok. I had a particular technician that I have been seeing all along. However, yesterday, I scheduled an appointment, but when I showed up she no showed. She called me while I was there waiting for her and said that she couldn't make it. I had re-arranged my schedule and drove all the way down there to wait for a no show; but as I told her, I understand stuff happens. She told me her schedule was wide open the next day. I left her a message saying that my son had a tournament, but I thought I could get there by a certain time. I said I would let her know if something changed. About 1.5 hours before I realized there was no way I could make it back to SD in time and asked to move it out. She told me that she was going to charge me a cancellation fee! My response was I am going to have to charge YOU a cancellation fee for the day before when you no showed! This is just utter BS to treat repeat clients that have referred a ton of business to you this way and is simply no way to run a business...time to move on I say! read more

Very nice staff and very articulate, however it took almost 2 hours to get a regular gel manicure and cost $60!

I was really nervous getting a pedicure for the first time but I really needed some toenail treatment so I decided to try out this place. First let me say that the staff is very kind and welcoming which helped calm my nerves when entering the salon. The main thing I wanted to talk about is the technician that I was assigned to named Gaby. She was so so kind and always made sure I was comfortable. Interacting with gaby made my experience at the salon magnificent and if I ever do go again I would definitely want Gaby to be my technician. 10/10 recommend this place to new people who want to treat their nails. read more

It's been a while since I've been here, probably six months, but it's kept nagging at me that I should leave a review. When they opened I had a good experience the first time I went. I went back 4-5 times and it got progressively worse each time. The last time I was there, the tech couldn't do basic two-color level one nail art (which I pre-booked) and she cut 4 of my cuticles and simply said "Oh, sorry." The tech doing my pedi burned two toes with the drill they use to take off the gel. I had actually asked that they soak the gel off as offered on their website, but she absolutely did not want to take the time and effort to remove it that way so I agreed to the drill. At the end of the 2 hour waste of time, I was too shocked and embarrassed to say much so I paid and left. I felt swindled. I've given up on the mani/pedi thing as a whole since pretty much every place around here is basically the same. Whatever. Hippie nails from now on I guess! read more

I really wanted to like this place due to all the 5 star reviews but I did not have a good experience here. It seemed they overbooked appointments so my nail tech was rushing through my nails and ended up cutting me multiple times. I got french nails and because she was rushing they were all uneven and I asked to get a design on my nails but, they said they didn't have time and I should have mentioned I wanted that when I made the appointment. My pedicure was nothing special, definitely not worth the 150$ I spent here. I would say save your time and money and go somewhere else. read more
