I've been here a few times and they always try to talk me out of dip. Acrylic paint always chips for me so that's why I ask for dip, but they, for whatever reason, don't want to do dip. Dip paint, for me, is much stronger than acrylic and never chips, so that's why I like it. Anyways, getting back to my most recent appointment, they cut my nails shorter than what I asked and don't add any nail tips. I did get a chrome color added so I know that's an extra $10. I was out of there in less than an hour. The next day, two of my nails chip. I tried emailing but never heard back. Just frustrated that they charged me for a fill even though it wasn't that. According to their menu and the services I received, it should have been $25, maybe $35 with the added chrome color.

My pedicure with Tina was great and I will definitely be back. Original: I'm new to the area so I'm trying to find the right nail salon. I have acrylic nails with an ombre finish. Unfortunately, there was a lot of acrylic, what I would call overflow, so I had chunks of acrylic left underneath my natural nail and around the edges. The gel polish she put on top was very heavy-handed and pooled both on the sides and at the cuticle area that is now peeling up and catches dirt. The technician was new to the salon, but claimed to have extensive experience in an elite area of Houston. Conversation was uncomfortable with references to different cultures and negative stereotypes.

I paid $60 for a full set of gel nails, within…read morea week they started lifting I went into LV Nails to have them repair the lifted Nails, which they did at their expense, but with them only being a week old it should have been at their expense. The female owner had a slight attitude, but had her husband repair the nail anyway. The new nail that he had put on looked horrible. You could see dips and scratches in the nail. A few days later, I had another nail completely left, I went back in and again the owners had a slight attitude with me. The female owner said what do you need? I had told her that I felt that several other Nails were weak. She argued with me, I let it go, got another nail fixed and went on my way. She told me at that point that I needed to come in every two weeks to have my nails filled, I have been going to see her for approximately three years now I have been very loyal to her, and I told her that I have never had this issue happen in the whole time that I have had my nails done that something was wrong, and I have never had to have my nails filled every two weeks. There has been several times when I have gone in to have my nails done she does them extremely fast, which that has never been a problem until this last time. So instead of arguing with her, I left. A few days later, I had Nails breaking off of the tips of my fingers. One had ripped my nail halfway off because not only did it break, but it had lifted, and it is one of the Nails that I told the female owner that I felt that it was weak. She was offended about my comment. When I went back in this last time to have a discussion with the female owner and to either have the nails fixed or removed, she told me again that I needed to come in every two weeks because I have short nail bed, I stated that I've never had this problem before. She made it known that she has already fixed my nails 2 nails, twice for free and that after two weeks, the nails are not guaranteed. I did not go in there expecting her to do any thing for free, she was extremely rude to me said what do you want done you? You want a full set or a want to fill? Well with the tone of her voice I told her I just wanted them removed. She said ok good! She would normally talk to me knowing that she was going to make money off of me and a tip but on this day, she was so rude to me that she had nothing more to say to me, within about 15 minutes, she put the chemical on my fingers and wrap them not saying a word she just walked away her and her husband sat in the pedicure section discussing the situation with me as they took care of other patrons. They left me sitting for 45+ minutes with this chemical on my fingers before they ever decided to come back in the nail bar room and the female owner stated that the male owner would take care of me. After the male owner went outside and smoked, clipped his nails and drank some of his soda he finally came over not saying a word getting everything set up to. When he started, he was actually a little rough while he was using his power tool to take them off Squeezing each finger, He was not gentle with my fingers at all. Seeing that my nail had been ripped off from having the lifted weak nail that I mentioned to the female owner days before, the male owner squeezed the ripped off nail finger on the nail. As he was grinding on my fingers, I could feel that he was getting too close to my nail bed and it was hot. I mentioned that to him he still didn't say anything he just kept going about his business and he ended up burning some of my nail beds. My nail beds used to have a nice hump on them and they are now flat. When he was done, I asked how much do I owe you and he said nothing and I said I'm willing to pay you for this he said No just Go! He wouldn't even look at me, I offered again to pay for it and he just walked away from me. As I was walking out the door I told them that they have lost a loyal customer. I don't advise anybody to go to the salon because I would sure hate loyal customers or any customers to be treated the way I was treated if there's a problem with your nails. They were rough and they were rude very rough and very rude! On another note, the place is filthy, they allow their kids to lay on the floor drinking their bottle, there's food all over the floors and the chairs from allowing their kids to run a muck, screaming and crying, and making a sure mess of the salon. I am so disappointed in the treatment that I got, I would never spend another dime anywhere that I was treated like crap!

However, when I came back in, one of the managers asked who had done them, and once I told him it was done at their salon, his response completely changed. The technician who had been doing my nails for years then asked me to remove my review and promised to redo my nails at a discounted price because of the original mistake. I agreed and came back with two friends. Unfortunately, the visit still didn't go well. My friends repeatedly asked for changes because the designs were not what they wanted, but they weren't listened to, and the technicians continued with designs they had already said they couldn't do. While I appreciate that they stayed late and tried to accommodate us since we arrived about an hour before closing, the final results still weren't what we expected. My nails were better than the previous visit, but still not what I asked for. Overall, the service was inconsistent, communication was poor, and accountability was lacking. I was happier than last time, but not satisfied enough to return.
