I have since found a different nail salon, but if I needed to go to Absolute I would. It is quiet in there, no music & the TV is muted. I had requested rounded squares and they just seem wider at the ends than my natural nails. They tried to sell me on tips and I just can't get over the prices. Anyone I know who gets their nails done here at this length end up looking the same. I paid 43$ for a dip polish, no manicure, cuticle work, prep or removal. Hard to convince myself to go back.

The pedicure area is very nice and clean, with big massage chairs. I like getting the deluxe pedi which I feel offers way more than the regular pedi for $20 more, with the hot stone massage and paraffin wax. I have felt that the service varies by the person working, which of course makes sense, but I've never had anyone bad, just some more thorough! The deluxe pedi is $57 i think which to me is still a splurge but worth it once a month or so. I also have never been pressured to get more services, which I appreciate. (I come in specifically for a pedicure, if I wanted a mani too I'd say so!) The style of the place is nice too. Only critique so far is what they have playing on the TVs in the pedi area- usually appears to be music videos via YouTube but just so random... one time it was random unidentifiable pop country, next time it was ONLY Jason Derulo. Then she argued with me over the colors of polish I wanted to use. Which ended up with me having a neon pallet vs the clear pastel one in the picture I showed her. Then when the color was literally traffic cone orange and I asked her to fix it, she claimed she couldn't at this point, I told her I know she can(in a very nice way actually cuz social anxiety but I wish I would've been harsh), so she half brushed it off, then put a pastel orange over it. And had the nerve to tell me the traffic come orange was what I asked for. It literally was not, she told me it would look nicer and I only saw it in its light powdered form so I said "ok" because I was done arguing with her. Needless to say she ruined my nails, it's literally been months later and my nails still peel off easily and have an indentation. And my nails are just insanely trashed all around. Pretty sure they use MMA or whatever it is cuz my nails are just terrible. This is the first review I've ever written and spent time over because literally, don't spend ur money here.
