The moment you step into this spa, the high-end, relaxing, and modern vibe sweeps you away. Korinna, the owner, is the epitome of walking advertisement with her ridiculously gorgeous skin. I essentially walked in saying, "I want what you get." Elizabeth, the aesthetic magician, gave me a HydraFacial, and it was a sublime. A HydraFacial is a multi-step facial treatment that works wonders. Elizabeth meticulously explained each product, its purpose, and how it would benefit my skin. The results are mind-blowing--my skin is literally glowing. I never knew what "plumped up" meant until now, and my face feels rejuvenated in a way I didn't think possible without a time machine. Seriously, the results of the HydraFacial at Haven Room are more impressive and noticeable than Botox when it comes to looking and feeling younger. She was rude and condescending and refused to address the customer service issue I called about. She made the entire situation my problem because I shouldn't have made the appointment but didn't want to acknowledge the customer service and communication break down. The website should be updated to reflect what services and to whom they are offered, the staff should learn how to handle customers and the owner needs to take responsibility and accountability for customer service concerns. I've never had such a terrible customer service interaction let alone from an owner that refused to even listen and address my issue. I also looked at legitimate local spa websites and they clearly define who, when and how long pregnancy massages should be.

I…read moreoriginally had booked the Advanced Renewal facial but my esthetician Kayelyn actually said I didn't need that exact facial because my skin is still young as I'm not yet in my 30s. She instead recommended I do the YonKa dry skin facial which is actually cheaper than what I originally booked. I love that she picked what would be best for my skin without trying to upsell a more expensive facial. I'm not well versed in skin care so I really liked that Kayelyn walked me through everything she was doing and the reasons why. Most times you just lay there in silence and while I do like sometimes to just relax and fall asleep, I really appreciated the skin care education and I was still able to relax as well. But I feel like I have a better idea of what my skin needs and how I can achieve it. The only reason I'm rating this 4.5/5 stars is because I normally like some lip care during my facials and this was lacking that. I really liked the essential oil toner she used and ended up purchasing it afterwards. The scent is heavenly and made my skin feel great. I showed up on time, but due to a number of people checking out and checking in, I settled into my room more than 10 minutes late. My massage was actually really good, but it ended more than 10 minutes early - which ultimately 20 minutes shorter than I paid for in total, given the late start. I was also charged $30 more for my massage than the rate published online ($140 for a 90 min massage). My friend went for a facial a week before me and said that her service ended more than 10 minutes early too. Overall, good massage but felt ripped off given I was overcharged $30 and the massage was cut short by ~25%. Will not be returning and for those of you who go - be really explicit on the timing / duration of your service.
