Once I found my specific esthetician, she became the sole reason I continued to stay a customer. I have been on a consistent schedule with her for a long time and know exactly which dates she is available and what hours she works. I'm not sure what has happened with EWC over the last two months, but none of the esthetician schedules make sense anymore. They seem to be working completely different days and hours every single week, and there doesn't even appear to be a consistent pattern. Someone may work an entire shift twice one week, four times the next week, and then maybe only once the following week. I'm someone who likes to book my appointments three months in advance with a specific esthetician because I do not work a regular Monday through Friday schedule. I need to plan ahead, and I have always been able to do that with EWC. Unfortunately, I'm no longer able to consistently book with the same person because their schedules are constantly changing. EWC, whatever this new scheduling change is, it's not working. If the scheduling doesn't change soon, I will likely be leaving once I use the remainder of my passes because I can no longer reliably book my services with the esthetician I prefer. I really don't think this is a smart business move. I understand that schedules and staffing need to change, but completely removing consistency makes it very difficult for loyal customers to continue coming back. I think you will likely lose far more clientele than just myself if this continues. Once again, all of the estheticians are wonderful, and this review is not a reflection of the quality of their work or the care they provide. My concern is specifically with the inconsistency in how staff are being scheduled each week. The previous scheduling structure made it easy for loyal customers to plan ahead and stay with their preferred esthetician, and that consistency seems to have been completely lost. My latest wax with Carli FLEW by, I swear she had me in and out in 10 min for a bikini; and I barely felt a thing. Not to mention that she had me perfectly distracted and laughing the entire time! The lady who was waxing me was rude, very short with me, and made me feel so uncomfortable. When I say had an attitude I mean she literally acted like she hated me. Mind you, I showered before I got a wax to prevent that HA! Waxing is such an intimate experience and the vibes have to be welcoming and warm. She was ripping away at my skin and I finally decided "yea I'd rather get laser then come back here every two weeks to feel like a burden"... sucks because I liked this place but that one experience messed it up for me. I was already having a tough day that day and now the lady who waxes me hates me too no thanks. I've been getting laser since then.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I definitely would. Yesterday, I showed up to this horrid place and was appalled by their customer service. I called them 6 hours before I arrived and made an appointment with them for 4:00. They were okay on the phone, it was a little sketchy how they didn't ask for my name when I wanted to book my appointment. They just took the time I wanted to come in and said they "put me down", and I thought okay great. I showed up at 3:45, signed in, and sat down and waited patiently. They told me to pick out a color, which I did (not very great color suggestions) and they also told me they I would be taken in to do my nails in 10 minutes. I said alright and sat and waited. Many people started walking in to get their nails done and EVERY SINGLE WALK IN WENT BEFORE ME. I was extremely upset because this lady that needed a FILL IN LIKE ME, went before me. The time was now 4:45 and I asked how much longer would it take because I've been waiting for awhile now. She then said I'm not sure there's only two people that do acrylics and this lady sitting over there was waiting before you. I KNEW THAT WAS NOT TRUE BECAUSE WHEN I WALKED IN, nobody and I MEAN NOBODY was there. I thought that maybe I should wait ten more minutes and see if anything changes. Now it's 5:20 and nothing. The lady that did not come before me, ended up going before me and she ended up doing a full set and any ladies with acrylics know how long it takes for a full set. I was very upset with this place and will never recommend it to anybody. Their customer service is horrible and I will never ever in my life step foot into this nail salon again. read more

this place is great! they go above and beyond for their customers. michael the owner is a personable guy who makes sure everyone is taken good care of. ive been here 2 times and have not been disappointed. i had kathy the first time and she was really nice and did a good job and i saw mimi last night (may i add i walked in 30 mins before they close, and they not only graciously accepted my late walk in but they did not make me feel like a jerk for being the last customer of the day) as a matter of fact mimi even talked me into a no chip for my big weekend and made sure to not rush and gave me a wonderful no chip. mimi is very sweet and makes good conversation. i was there till 9 when they close at 8 and everyone made me feel like that was ok. everything in the nail salon is super clean (and brand new) and the prices are good too. you get a discount if you pay in cash and they have a loyalty card for future discounts. a good neighborhood place for sure. read more

This is actually a decent nail shop, but the other day I went to get a pedicure and fill in and get my nails shorten before I went on a vacation with Ann, and I actually liked how she did my nails before so I went to her again. However, she got mad at me for asking her to shorten my nails and refused to do it at first until I had to tell her 3 times to please shorten my nails. After that she just had an attitude and literally took 2 hours and 30 mins to do my fill in, total of 3 hours and 45 mins to do pedicure and fill in. Then when I got up to pay at the register, she followed me only to tell me "This is the last time I do your nails!" I was offended and felt discriminated against and asked her why? And she just rudely turned around and walked away. As if it was my fault she took so long to do such effortless work and her JOB!! I felt very embarrassed when she said that in front of everyone and will never step foot in there again. read more

The dip manicure took 45 minutes (though probably 10 minutes of this was me picking my color), and was thorough and I'm very happy with the look and outcome of my nails. I will point out if felt as though the clear disposable gloves my hands were placed in seemed to be used, not new. The nail tech, Lin, used a rubber glove at one point that was clearly used as well. The pedicure chair was the nicest and most high tech chair I've ever sat in! It was truly a delight. I just wish I'd had more time to relax in it! The pedicure was definitely basic, with minimal massage, pumice scrub, etc, but they were there, just quick. Overall the customer service is a big reason why I'm knocking one star off. While Lin was professional, she wasn't over the top friendly or super accommodating, which I prefer from people working in this industry. She told me if I got a color and didn't like it that I couldn't change it. She was also very short with people over the phone who called looking for an appointment, and without apology just told them she's busy today and to call back tomorrow. Overall, if the customer service is able to improve, I think this salon could easily be 5 stars! I do plan to return and I hope the service is friendlier in my future visits.

They got the chair for the pedicure ready for me and I sat for my first service. Jenny asked me what color I wanted from the wheels of color that she brought over to me and I showed her the color I wanted for my toe nails. After a relaxing time on the chair, she took my items over to her station and asked me what I wanted done for my hands... I showed her a picture of what I wanted and told her that I wanted to change the color to match my toes. She worked her magic and did it exactly how I wanted it - and I am so happy with her work! I cannot wait to go back to see what other ideas I can give her to work on my hands!

For customers who complain about Dip, they should really switch to gel manicures. Dip absolutely ruins your nails, that's why they are probably messed up, especially if you have fine nail beds. Gel makes your nails way stronger, allowing the manicure to last over a month. Getting gel off is much easier today than in the past while dip still messes your nails up when removing. Then, they have quick dry nail polish that I get on my feet. It dries fully by the time my manicure is finished. It might just be me but my toe nails last a month too. However, expecting a dry fast nail polish to last more than a week is rather hopeful. Again, gel gives you so many opportunities to decorate your nails in many ways, stronger. Most of my friends have switched to them. I almost don't want to write a review ,so the secret gets out, but these ladies deserve the appreciation! They are true artists and so kind!
