I walked in without an appointment and was pleased to get right in, asking for both a gel manicure and pedicure. I picked my color and sat for the pedicure. The pedicure was great, and turned out beautifully, even with the communication barrier. The manicure, not so much. I was able to communicate to just file my nails, not clip them but I also said to keep them square... which is the shape I keep my natural nails and their shape at the time. Turns out that wasn't what was understood by the nail tech or she just completely disregarded what I said, and rounded and pointed all of my nails into an almond shape. She completely changed the shape of my nail that I went in there with. The manicure itself went well and she was gentle but I was extremely disappointed to see the entire shape of nail changed when I specifically asked to keep them squared off. After a week, I still hate the shape and look forward to them growing out to get rid of these pointy tips. read more

I went in for a fullset of the dipping powder nails. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and offered a beverage. The technician that did my nails was amazing! She took her time and made them look so good. This is where I'll be getting my nails done from now on. Six of my fingers were later bleeding because she had cut them so close that she had made cuts into my fingers, made them look like they had hangnail all over them. I broke a nail down to the meat so I was in desperate need of a salon. I yelped and either the salons was closed or bad reviews. The hotel shuttle guy recommended the salon in Walmart. As we was pulling up to Walmart, I noticed Nails 4 U across the street. I entered, was greeted and 10 minutes later I was sitting at Lisa's station. Lisa was pleasant as we chitchatted. They always accommodate and never turn you away if you don't have an appointment and I don't recall ever having to wait, but they're always busy. Prices are fair as well. They have talented techs who can do all the trending types of nails. Place is clean and they keep it up to date. So this is now my 2nd visit. I went in the 1st time and got a full set with gel polish. This 2nd time I went and got a fill with gel and deluxe pedicure. Let me tell you it's not the prettiest place, there's no wine and extras but the service and quality of work is 5 starts. I have to say I am perfectly happy with the powder dip manicure I got from two sisters, Hannah and Cindy at Nails 4 U. Hannah started me with filing off the old powder dip varnish and dipping my fingers in acetone. She took great care of the fact that I had a broken nail on my left ring finger. Instead of wrapping my fingers in acetone dipped cotton balls and aluminium foil, Hannah filed as much as she could and just dipped my nails in a bowl of acetone. The old varnish seems to come off more softly and slowly but the effects are not as much on my fingers as acetone usually dries them considerably. Hannah started my manicure and then had to go to pick up her kids after school, so her sister Cindy finished me off. Cindy also did collagen treatment on my hands. The entire thing was very affordable and the sisters more than earned their $20 tip for superb work on my finger nails! read more

They've hired some new employees that do not understand the meaning of customer service. I witnessed one employee arguing with a customer and screaming at the customer after the customer asked her to make one nail shorter so that it would match the others. During that same visit, there was a male employee that told a customer they were problematic. The usual management was not present on this visit but I made mention to my technician that it was uncomfortable to witness those encounters and I don't believe in spending hard earned money for terrible customer service. read more

So this nail place is great if you value timeliness and bang for your buck. When it comes to timeliness, I've seen women getting a pedicure and then the employee also give them a manicure.... While in the pedicure chair getting a pedicure. I think that's cool. So you aren't there for like 2 hours. But to each their own. The salon has a menu, of sorts, where you can pick out what you want... And know the price.... That is really good, and helps decrease any misunderstandings between the customer and salon. I came here for a manicure and pedicure with my mom for my birthday. My pedicure looks awesome. I can't remember her name but she did a wonderful job! However. The girl who did my manicure did not do a good job. I will take a small amount of blame in that I did not look closely at my nails until a couple of hours later. The paint is uneven on all fingers except three and she cut into my cuticles on two fingers. She also stopped to answer her phone before continuing and talked on it for half of the manicure. Doesn't bother me if it was a short conversation and/or the manicure is friggin awesome. But the results were not satisfactory. When I tried to ask for help I was told it would be just a minute when they seated another person and got to work on her. Well me and my 16 year old daughter picked Nails 4 u we are new in town and decided to give them a try. I am giving them 3 stars solely on customer service they are very friendly and the service was fast and that was the issue my nails which I picked gel color medium length it was 55$ and my nails fell off within 2 weeks as well as my daughter's nail. We both received pedicures my lady was extremely happy and nice she did talk however the gentleman that performed my daughter's pedicure was very rough and ride as well. Due to those issues I wouldn't recommend nor return for a service. The owner was very friendly and looked to be the best nail technician in the shop but was completely booked. read more

It's too expensive for the service you get -- I paid $40 plus left a tip for a full set of acrylic nails. They sorta rushed though it, did the bare minimum as far as shaping, and didn't touch my cuticles. ‍ Plus, there was a crack on my nail, which eventually led it to break off. I showed them a picture of what I wanted, but the shape wasn't what I asked for, neither was the length. This place is your typical Vietnamese salon. They accept walk-ins and always have plenty of staff to take care of you. I've never had to wait. One reason I keep coming back is they literally have 150 shades of shellac! I find myself loving to have to choose a color instead of having to settle on the bland/limited colors other places have. Another thing-- they will not shortchange you on your massage. During my pedi, the foot massage lasted a good 10 min per foot and the arm massage a good 5 min. I know multiple people whom have gotten foot fungus and infections in there finger nails after going to this salon , all the men who work here rush there work and they are rude they will argue with anyone .
