Spa pedicure $25. Deluxe spa pedicure $32. I decided to treat myself by getting a deluxe pedicure. A bit of a wait... 15 minutes but it was a Saturday afternoon. Parking is average. Prices are a little expensive. Overall I did enjoy my pedicure because she thoroughly cleaned my feet and cleaned up my cuticles. The best part of my service was the hot stone massage. I've never ever had a hot stone foot massage with a pedicure. My pedicure did feel a little rushed. The massage was very brief. I wish it was a little longer. Nevertheless, I can appreciate that they use great quality products and that the salon was clean inside and out. This place has gone downhill. It used to be good but after recent ownership change, the last 4-5 times I have visited, I was rushed and had to go home and smooth out & file my own nails. I asked for specific service and did not get what I asked for but was still charged full amount. I understand prices are up every where but they should at least back it up with decent service. DO NOT COME HERE I gave this place one last chance and will never get my nails done here again. The lady that did my nails was rushing and filed my nail until it burned and the top part of my nail was red and burned very bad. I asked for a french manicure and they turned out crooked and sloppy. I went in to get gel manicure so I sat down at the desk with this lady ( I don't know her name...) And she started cleaning my nails. I thought she was a bit heavy handed but I thought she knew what she was doing as I assume she does nails every day, then I noticed something. I was bleeding from my nail. It started to hurt immediately so she was like "oh sorry" and covered my finger with a dirty towel she was using underneath my hand. Also she put some kind of blue liquid on the area. I asked her what it was but she couldn't answer because there was language barrier. She continues to do my other nails but it was bleeding more and also I see I'm bleeding from my pinky too. But she keeps telling me to be quiet (I assume because there were other customers so she didn't want them to notice what was happening. ) So I told her, "I don't think I want any color today. I'm done.. I will come back next time" and trying to leave but she says " wait 2min.. it's ok " but at this point I am scared of getting any infections. So I told her again, " I don't want to continue I'm going home." and then she looks disappointed and says "15 dollar." ..... So you haven't even finished and cut me then still ask for money?! This is WRONG. Now another lady (maybe her manager) came to look what's happening and she started scolding her and asked her to say sorry to me. I have been going to Nails 4 Sure since I moved to Chula Vista in 2016. I get my eyebrows waxed for $10 (not including tip) and the occasional gel pedicure. The star is for Yen, because she was a sweetheart but the pedicure overall gets no stars. To begin, I was told my gel pedicure would be $38. Pretty pricey right? I imagined for that price it was gonna be amazing so I went for it. My tech began by soaking my feet, trimmed my nails and filed them which was painful since she cut them too short, in one instance she left a piece halfway cut since it was already too short and I couldn't take the pain of it being cut more. I did tell her but she changed the subject. When she went over them with the electric nail file to remove my previous gel, she hurt me since she hadn't completely removed that piece of nail and the electric nail file pulled it off. Again, she was so sweet and I just kind of took it. She then added the callus removal gel and went straight to scrubbing without letting it sit long. The scrubbing literally took 30 seconds and she soaked my feet again just to clean them off. She proceeded to dry my feet to paint my toes and when I questioned her she said she would polish them first then massage me. She left excess gel around my nails and missed parts of the sides. When she was done she literally rubbed lotion on my legs and feet and maybe took 3 minutes at the most to do both feet. I was so disappointed. Never will I go back. I don't usually do this but I'm gonna say that Lisa's nails on Broadway is sooo much better, I've been going for years just for pedicures and have never had a complain. I tried this place because I moved 2 minutes away and found it convenient but it was not worth it, I'll take the drive to Lisa's in a heartbeat. I pay $32 there, when they add the callus gel they let it sit at the bottom of your feet with baggies and they scrub for minutes until your feet are baby soft. They massage you twice! Once with an orange scented scrub and the final one at the end of your pedicure with lotion for 12 to 15 minutes. They clean the polish all around and make sure they miss no spots. That's a pedicure! I tell you, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. read more

I can't believe I've waited this long to do a review. Kim has been doing my nails for more than 13 years! (since my 13-year old was an infant). I love how she does my acrylic with gel overlay, and the pedicures are amazing no matter who does them. I feel so comfortable there, sometimes I just want to stay in the pedicure chair and relax! Okay so I tried this place Because it was close to my house and I WONT be coming back . i definitely regret not going to my normal nail salon . So I was a walk in and I only waited about 5 min. First thing was the guy doing my pedicure cut 3 of my 10 toes . This used to be my go to place before I discovered other places which are far more better. When you first walk in the owner is sitting beside her table. She's usually doing someone's nails. But other than that she's very loud and can be a bit rude. The place in general doesn't seem like the cleanest. I have to say that when I came here I felt a bit rushed and uncomfortable. I got a full set of acrylics done here. The shape was perfect but the length I asked for was off and the acrylic started to peel like crazy after 3 weeks. The workers are kind but aren't very careful. In general this place isn't the cleanest. Also, I asked for stones vertically across my ring fingers and on one hand they but 6 stones and on the other they put 7 The prices are very normal compared to other salons so it's reasonable. She I sited in finishing but I felt it unsanitary because she kept trying to wash my blood in the water she had just washed my feet in as well as wiping my blood with the same cotton ball she had used to take my nail polish again. I went to this salon a few years ago, but it was always hot, the TV blaring & the owner/manager Kim was SO rude! So I went across the street, caddy corner to La Rosa Verde. It's kept clean & cool, the manager is so nice & runs a very nice business at a fair price. He has a nice team of nail technicians to top it! A few weeks ago I was leaving for vacation & had to get fills & pedi. I totally forgot my salon was closed on Tuesdays. Desperate, I came here, I was reminded immediately why I stopped coming. Kim was horribly rude, I had to get my nails done separately from my pedi, which was twice as long and to top it off, they were $20.00 higher than La Rosa Verde!!!
