I've given this place multiple chances as my manicures have always come out great and lasted long, however the lack of customer service each visit has finally pushed me out the door for good. Each appointment, I am not sat in a chair or seen until 15-20 minutes after my appointment time. Most of the staff have been very cold and rude to me, for no apparent reason. I understand that good quality takes time, but being in the salon for 3 hours for an express pedicure and a basic dip manicure with no acrylic/tips added is absolutely insane. That would take an hour and a half tops at most other salons. Don't waste your time (literally), I'd recommend going to Hands & Heels across the street instead. read more

I wanted to love this salon since it's close to my apartment, but I have to say this was by far the worst manicure I've ever received. Let's start with the good things - the salon is beautiful, new, and clean, and the tools were sterile in autoclave pouches. The color selection for the gel polishes was excellent, and I liked that the swatches were done on clear plastic rather than the white plastic kind so you can see how translucent or opaque a particular option would be. The wait time was also great, I walked in without an appointment and they were able to take me right away. But that's about where the positives end. The nail tech who did my manicure started off well, carefully and gently removing my old gel polish. He then began filing my nails but didnt ask what shape I wanted- they were previously rounded and he began filing them square, which looked fine so I didnt mind, but I think you should obviously check with the client first. After cuticle trimming he started applying the gel layers, and I'm not sure what part of his technique was off but the result after 3 coats was irregular and textured with many obvious divets and bubbles on the nails. And, he kept going back between each color coat to tidy up previous efforts with the cuticle trimmers, which I have never seen done before and which I assume is probably a no-no in terms of avoiding dings and smears to the polish. As it was, some of the gel was ending up outside the nail and in the next few days it began lifting around the edges on a few nails. To top it all off, the prices here are more expensive than other salons I've been to - I paid $45 for this substandard manicure whereas my usual nail salon near my job charges $30 with no additional charge for removing old gel first. I couldn't wait to have them undo this attempt and finally fix my nails so I could look presentable again. I do see other, positive reviews for this place on here so maybe it just depends on what tech you get, but for me it's a no. I'll stick with the cheaper salon that has always done great work. read more

Don't waste your time. This place is horrible. I was here for over an hour and a half (not including wait time) for a regular pedicure. This service usually takes 30-40 minutes max. It took forever and she still messed up the polish application. Then, when I went to pay, I was standing at the register and one of the employees rudely asked me "why are you standing there?" 5/5 Stars for the salon itself. The place was very very clean, looked new, and it didn't have harsh fumes like other nail places do. The customer service was great. The owner was very nice and the person doing my nails was lovely to talk to. The reason I'm giving this salon only 3 stars though is because the manicure I got was average if not below average for a pretty expensive price. I got a dipping powder manicure for $62 ($55 for the manicure and $7 for removal of my old set). I came in one day at 4pm. It took them almost 2 hours to remove my old set and my fingers had been in acetone for so long that it had really dried out my fingers. I had to come back the next day because I had somewhere to be at 6, and when i came back the next day it still took around 45 minutes to remove it fully. Removal of my dipping powder had never been this much of a problem for me before so that was new to me. The manicure was the same as almost everywhere else I've gone. They do have a lot of colors to choose from and a lot of different types of polish or styles to do, and I'm pretty sure they can do designs as well. When I finished my manicure, i didn't get any cuticle oil or lotion massage which really hurt since fingers had been in acetone for a total of around 3 hours. Overall, staff, location, salon, and choices were great. I know this place is fairly new so they probably just need more improvement on some things but it seems like there is a lot of hope for this place, I probably just wouldn't pay that price again for an average set of nails. read more

My boyfriend and I came here for pedicures and were really unhappy with the experience. Both of our nails were cut super jagged and uneven. My big toenails were cut square and lopsided so one slopes down really far, and the rest were a mix of unevenly round and straight with all different lengths. My boyfriend left with dirt on one of his toes. The polish application was terrible for mine as well - they look ok if you squint but up close they are so sloppy. I went in on Labor Day for a nail dip and was very happy with the service, unfortunately a few days later I noticed a chip and called to see if they could do anything. Katie saved the day and fixed the broken nails and even went back and redid the top coat on all my nails to make sure there weren't any issues. I should have done more thorough research before coming here as this was the first time I was getting my nails done professionally. I arrived there at least 9:50am since my appointment was at 10am. Doors were not open until 9:57am, and the receptionist who answered the door asked me if I had an appointment and I said yes since I filled out their online appointment form. She said that she didn't see it, in which then I had to find my appointment confirmation email to show her. I then waited for a good 20 minutes for the nail technician to arrive, which I totally understood as there may have been traffic. I greeted the nail technician when the receptionist pointed me to her, only to be greeted by her walking away to put away from her personal belongings without any "Hi, I will be with you momentarily" or anything like that, which gave me a bitter vibe as someone who has worked at customer service for many years. I was then asked to sit down by one of the receptionists, to which I complied. The nail technician didn't tell me to wait while she went to get the towel, she just walked away without saying anything. She then came back, and was pushing my arms back and forth and tapping my finger to have me relax it without verbalizing what she wanted me to do, in which I would've complied to whatever she wanted me to do had she verbalized it to me. The end result was okay, but after how I have been treated during my appointment, I am not sure if I am going to come back here again due to the lack of customer service from her end. read more

I was very excited to try this new nail salon but it ended up being the worst experience I've ever had!! I made an appointment for Friday 2/11/2022 for a pedicure and dip/gelle nails with nail art. My appointment was for 4pm and I walked into the location a few minutes before. I was greeted by a woman and asked what I wanted to get done, I told her I had an appointment and what my appointments were for and stated I had dip on my nails. She told me to have a seat and someone would come get me. I would say at 4:10pm a woman told me to get in the pedicure chair. Now this is when its starts getting weird. The lady literally took 2 hours and a half almost 3 hours doing my basic pedicure with dazzle nail polish (a fast drying nail polish). During that whole time I was clearly bothered but no one checked on me the whole time until towards the end of the second hour. At that point I was visibly aggravated. A woman asked me about my nails and I told her once again I had dip on my nails already, She then asked why I didn't tell anyone and the lady that was doing my pedicure could have taken off the dip during my pedicure. I told her I did when I walked in then she responded oh yeah I forgot!! Anyway, my pedicure was finally done and I still had to wait for someone to do my nails. Once I finally sat in the chair with another woman she said oh there's only 2 ppl that can do your nails we are really busy, mind you there were about 10 or more workers there. I literally just kept seeing clients come in and out. When my services were done it was 8:30pm!!! I spent 4 1/2 hours there. She took a few dollars off my services for the inconvenience but I still paid over $100. I was happy until my nails didn't even last a week. Today is Thursday and I got them done 6 days ago. I'm very disappointed and will NEVER go back!! I'm not even bothering to call to ask to get a refund because I know how nail salons are. read more

I have had my share of customer expectations and some we shall not speak of. THIS PLACE RIGHT HERE!!!!! The service is out of this world, the employees are all top notch and exceeds your expectation. Everyone is so pleasant and sweet. The atmosphere is ideal for what US women need to feel beautiful again. All the positive quotes in the shop just confirms that self-care and self -love is valuable. The owner is so respectful and understanding. For the first time in forever I was just getting a gel mani- pedi and they took care of me OK! From massages to laughs and giggles. I booked a 330 appointment over the phone for the deluxe pedicure which includes dazzle dry polish, got text confirmation on my phone that it wd be at 345pm, ok. Arrived at 335, waited until 4pm when I was directed to a pedicure station. While waiting at least 5 other women, all with appointments, arrived and were told to wait (the salon's closing time was listed as 5pm on Sunday, today). When I arrived I confirmed with a woman that I wd get the deluxe pedicure, and again with my technician when she began my pedicure. Twice more during the pedicure I said I wanted the deluxe pedicure, both times the lady nodded, the second time this was confirmed by a second technician. My technician began applying polish without including the 10 minute massage and hot stone and oil treatment that's part of the deluxe pedicure---I reminded her (this was the second time during the pedicure) what I'd booked and both she and the other woman confirmed that's what I was getting. I let her apply polish, as Ive gone other places that continued with massage treatment after polish was applied. When the polish was on, she said she was done! I asked, what about the other parts of the deluxe pedicure, and at this point it became apparent that my technician hadn't understood a word I'd said about the deluxe pedicure. WHen the second technician saw she'd already applied polish, she told me I would only pay for the basic pedicure minus the dazzle dry, $38. I WAS offered the 10 minute massage but at this point it was 530, Id been there for 2 hours and just wanted to leave. I was charged $48 by my technician unti the other woman gave me a refund for the dazzle dry as she said she would. The pedicure including applying polish took an hour and a half, from 415 when my technician began to 545 when my toes finally dried (tech finished at 530). The salon was very over-booked (at least 3 ppl were waiting for their appointments to begin at 5pm when the salon was supposed to close on Sunday). The polish itself looks fine, but I won't be returning here. I suggest that anyone visiting this salon makes damn sure they're getting what they wanted/asked for, as four attempts to communicate what I wanted were not enough for me. read more

Was streaky, uneven, and polish was touching the skin around my nails so I knew right away the manicure wasn't going to last. Prices are also outrageous - 40 for a gel manicure and 5 for gel removal. This is also a very basic gel manicure. I went here because I was desperate for a manicure and my usual place didn't have any openings. Not worth $45. I'm not sure why they are charging so much, there are better places in the area that charge much less. read more

This is a great salon! Friendly staff, calming environment, lots of colors and services to choose from, and their lotions and scrubs smell AMAZING. Ruby did an excellent job on my pedicure; she was so attentive and kind when I immediately messed up one toe and it needed to be re-painted. The man who rang me up (I'm so sorry I forget his name) was incredibly kind as well. Their prices are reasonable for the area and quality and the location is easy to get to from the green line B or C and the 66 bus. My new spot. They are super clean, have cute colors and fast. I went here on there grand opening and again 2 weeks later and they're super consistent. The new owners (didn't get her name) is so nice and helpful and you can tell she's really putting in effort into the business. I got there standard mani/pedi. I was searching for a highly ventilated salon with high hygiene standards since I am 10 weeks pregnant. This salon is really clean. They use gloves and packaged instruments, and are very careful when handling your cuticles. Nick is very gentle and detail oriented. I had a really relaxing Dazzle pedi and gel mani.
