So I contemplated even making this review because I hate to discredit any business but this was my worst experience hands down. I was already nervous to experience something like this. I came in as a walk-in on Sunday 9/7, asked for a full set acrylic. I sit down with the nail tech, he doesn't say much which isn't a problem but then he's rough handling my hands and telling me basically I'm not holding them correctly and he can't see well enough (I've never experienced someone complain this much about how my hands naturally relax) he said and I quote "we can keep doing this all day" after directing my hands how he needed them. He starts to apply the acrylic and again I've never seen someone use so much acrylic, he blobbed it on my nails, the acrylic was dripping... obviously he had to sand my nails done a ton and is huffing and puffing through the whole thing, his hands are cramping up so he starts to rush through it. I didn't feel comfortable asking him about specifics of my nails because of his attitude. He then proceeds to put the Pittsburgh game right next to my nails, showing more interest into that. Reminder I showed up at 11:40 not exiting till 2:30. I check out being charged $70 for mini acrylic french tip... absolutely outrageous. I don't tip because of his attitude and QUALITY. I walk out and start crying because the quality of my nails were hideous. I walked back in spoke to Q (who was very nice) and had them "fix" the nails. The guy that originally did them and "fixed" them said that I didn't tell him I wanted them "square square" originally (I had a whole reference picture on what I wanted) and that if I still wasn't satisfied he would get a different nail tech. I said no they're good and left. I haven't gotten my nails done in 3 years and this is was just so disappointing. These nails shown with my review is my "fixed" finished product. I don't even want people to look close at them. They are that bad. I could've done them myself to get this out come.
Everyone else seems nice but he ruined your nails shop reputation. I've also worked in salons to I understand it's annoying sometimes but he needs to retire if he is that miserable at his job. read more
