If they had negative stars I would give them 5!! This is the absolute worst nail place I've ever been. I called for an appointment and was happy I got one the same day, however, it was my first time and I should have just gone by the negative reviews I read but I was hoping this wasn't going to be me. The manicure took less than 5 minutes, the girl barely did anything, I had a lot of loose skin around my nails when she was done, they barely put any of their product, like the cuticle remover, lotion etc. on my hands when doing the manicure and totally rushed through it. It look as if she was just pretending she was cleaning them just to say she did. After she was done with the so called manicure, she painted my French tips, which by the way, look pretty horrible, and then left and went to help another customer and someone else came to shape the tips and put the top coat on which by the way, she put all over my fingers too, they were rushing so much that she didn't even bother to stay on the nail, I had to come home and fix them myself. I am not a regular, but you would think that being my first time, they would have been more welcoming and done a good job on my nails to keep me coming back instead of just treating me as if I was intruding in their scheduled with their regular customers. They totally rushed through everything, did a horrible job, and rushed to go help someone else. When I was ready to pay she had the nerve to ask for a tip, which I gave her but she did not deserve at all. First time in this nail salon and I am super impressed! Peter worked on my nails and I can honestly say that I have never had someone work so diligently and carefully on my manicure before. He was very gentle and didn't rush through it even though there were other customers. The shop was super clean and there was nice calming background music playing. I've been searching for a nail salon that upon entering I am not barked at to "pick color" or rushed along with a half-ass mani-pedi. I found it. While none of these ladies will win a Miss Congeniality contest, they weren't rude. I expect good service for a fair price. The salon was clean. Pandora with accompanying TV showing the artist & album was nice(no TVs blaring Jerry Springer). The atmosphere was mellow and I never felt rushed. I also wasn't bothered every two seconds with an upsell pitch. I had a gel manicure and spa pedicure with Dona. She did a fantastic job. I am SO happy I found this place. I made a follow-up appointment with her. I highly recommend this salon. read more

After three visits here this place has become my favorite nail spa in Simi. I usually get regular mani and pedi's only so I can't speak for gels or acrylics but every time I've been here I've never been disappointed. My favorite thing about this place is that I'm always asked if I like how my nails are turning out throughout the process (i.e. Nail shape, color shade, etc). They also have the friendliest staff I've ever encountered at a nail salon, reasonable prices (I'm a college student so you can imagine), clean tools, relaxing atmosphere with the best Pandora music station playing, and a great nail polish color selection. I had my nails done here for the first time yesterday and am pretty happy with the quality and service. Everyone was friendly and I didn't have to wait very long, just a few minutes. Howie did my gel manicure and he did a great job explaining the regular gel vs dip gel and seemed knowledgeable about the different brands. The lady who did my pedicure was very helpful in finding a matching color to my manicure even though they were different brands. She did a great job as well. I'll definitely be back. read more

Worst service ever. I walked in and told them I needed a pink and white fill and a spa pedicure. They said 10-15 minute wait. So I said okay and sat down. 25 minutes later they had me sit down in the pedicure seat. The lady came over and looked at my nails and said she doesn't have time to do my nails today but they can do the pedicure and I can come another day to do my nails. I explained I have a 2 month old and 3 year old at home and have them being watched so I can do this. They still wouldn't help me. So I got up and left and told them they lost a customer for life for lying and telling me they could help me. I would give a negative review if I could. read more

This has become our go-to nail salon after trying several in the area! It's typically me, my friend and her young daughter (7 at the time this is written). We have our regulars we prefer there but I've tried a few different technicians and had a good result, but Tina has become my go to! She does excellent work, gives a great massage (no 30 second bs here!) and when I bring her a design or idea she always makes it work with my nails (which don't naturally look like those on Pinterest). If I see anything I'm unhappy with as she is working on my nails I tell her and she fixes it(she also asks after filing if I'm happy with the length and shape). Sometimes colors don't come out as expected and sometimes polish imperfections happen despite a good manicure but I've had very few issues with this place and esp with the amazing - and kind - Tina (I think once with a different tech I had a little bubbling on one finger but I went back in when I noticed it and they fixed it). I also get a lot of compliments on my nails because she does such a great job. Can not recommend this place - or Tina enough! For the negative reviews about waiting - they do get busy sometimes. If you have an appointment you will get your spot. I waited 10 mins max once because I said it was fine - just meant more soaking in a massage chair which works for me! But if you walk in, there may be a wait and sometimes there isn't. Call ahead - they try to accommodate as best as they can and I've never seen anyone sitting around doing nothing when they are busy (unlike at other salons I've been to). Good polish selection too. They usually have good music on. And the place is always clean. Prepare for parking issues because of the construction in the lot - a temporary issue but just give yourself an extra minute to find a spot so you're on time. Sorry for the long review, I just can't say enough how happy we are here :) last note - if you have kids, there's 2-3 techs that work on the kids and they are GREAT at it! Tina (short hair) has done my mani pedi twice and is always so sweet, doesn't make me bleed and does a great job. The place is very clean. They use liners in the foot spa and sterilized tools. I really hate to do this but I had a horrible experience here today. Called in and made an appt. for a full set, came in and was sat with a gentleman. I showed him the picture of what I was going for, acrylics for some length but very little as I wanted a rounded natural look. He rushed through and kept saying "no it'll look better when I'm done." Well the finished project was square, fake looking nails with a thick, wavy, and sticky gel surface. He finished and I said I'm sorry these are horrible, please just fix them. He took his tool and scraped off the gel and said "I'll take this off and you can leave and go paint them yourself." I showed him the picture and was like these aren't even close to similar, and he said so go buy that color and pay $7 for your daughter's nails before you go. I left and the owner who is awesome came out to my car after me to apologize. She agreed when I showed her the picture that it was not a good job and asked for me to come back tomorrow. Needless to say I went to Le Nails immediately and they fixed my botched nails. read more

I have been to many salons in many states and am often disappointed by their nail art after they reassure me they can do something similar to a photo I've brought or a design they have in their salon. Lihn is the first one ever to actually pull it off beautifully....more than once! This place is a MAJOR RIP OFF!! I was offered the callous remover and they did a TERRIBLE HALF A## job and then tries to charge me $10 for that!! Maybe inflation is really hitting now but I have NEVER been charged that much. And if they are going to charge that much then at least make an effort and show me it's worth the cost. I have to go somewhere else just to get that callous removed done again. Then to make matters worse, I asked for my daughter to get a mani and pedi and I pointed in case there was a language barrier and she still did not get her pedi. When I asked what happened with her pedi the owner looked at me and said "oh I'm sorry it not happen." I'm a pretty patient person and I still tipped them well (better than most ppl do I'm almost certain). They still have to work for their money. I will NEVER return here. It's down the street from my home but there are plenty of other places with better service and more competitive prices. read more

I found this place using Yelp and am pleased with the service. The facility is pleasant and clean and I received an excellent pedicure from a very friendly woman. I was surprised at the quality I got for the very inexpensive cost. My only complaint was that it was a very hot day and they did not turn on the air conditioning, so it was uncomfortably warm. read more

Felt like getting a full set of pink and white. Wanted to try somewhere new. Saw a review that there was a salon in the Jon's Marketplace shopping center, which is super close to me. I also liked the pictures posted. This place is the best. It is fairly new. I think Howard who did my full set told me they have been open for 2-3 months. Very clean. They use plastic liners for their pedicure tubs and then I noticied they clean/disinfect the tub after the plastic liner is removed as well. Howard did a fantastic job. He did exactly what I wanted..thin, lightest pink powder, gel top coat and a more rounded tip. AWESOME! I have found the few men that have done my nails in the salon are the best.
