Solongo, the lady in the front with glasses has AWFUL customer service. I'm sure she's miserable inside but there's no reason to treat others like that. No eye contact when I walked in, and then she yelled at me to hurry up and PICK COLOR! The entire experience was bad, I don't recommend anyone come here. Simple, clean, beautifully done. This new salon is so nice. I'm so over the silly fountains and dirty equipment. I walked in and was greeted right away from a sweet soft spoken woman who was not yelling at me from across the room. The service was fine the studio is beautiful too ... the manicurist that completed my no chip manicure was awesome! But the owner/manager reprimanded me about the tip ! I purchased it through Groupon ... for a mani/pedi and I received additional savings from Groupon beyond the Groupon price. Well, she didn't like my tip and told me my service was worth $85 ... although I didn't pay that amount she reacted strongly to my 10% tip. Welp I gave a larger tip but she lost a customer... I enjoyed myself here! The ladies were kind and hard working. The owner was also kind and friendly. My nails looked great and they gave my daughters a great manicure as well. Clean and relaxing too! We visited the salon today with my mother who recently had knee replacement surgery and was getting her first pedicure since surgery. This nail salon is so pretty, but the service wasn't great. My pedicure appointment was at 3:15 and I was done by 3:50. Their pedicure massages are literally 30 seconds per leg. She cut my toenails way to short, I asked for her to cut down one nail and just file and shape. She had no space to actually put polish on. Definitely will not be returning. read more

The worst experience I think I've ever had at a nail salon. Usually massage chairs can recline and decline and move forward and backwards, so I asked and the owner I believe responded "well they aren't car seats, so no". An "unfortunately they don't" would have sufficed. There is absolutely no social distancing, and in these times that's necessary. Pedicure was just okay, she went so quickly. There were also three white women inside the shop, and I was the only Latina, and no attitude was given to them. Take that info with a grain of salt, just felt like a racial thing. There are so many other nail salons who deserve your money than this one!! read more

I loved how peaceful and beautiful the place is. You feel special from the moment you enter. The decor is very chic and personally I appreciated the lack of awkward small talk during my pedicure. Tried to make an appointment via online booking system which showed available appointments weeks in advance. I showed up and the place was closed. I was sent 2 confirmation emails and texts about my appointment. When I called to complain, the owner said it was MY problem and should have checked their hours. Um, why didn't they check their online booking and call me to let me know?! The owner was VERY rude to me on the phone. I will never go back and do not recommend going there! read more

NailBar Studio is a clean and relaxing nail spa in Naperville. No chemical smell and a peaceful environment. All tools are sanitized. They also wash hands between clients, which other "nail salons" go from client to client. Pay attention people! read more

Unfortunately I need to change my review based on my second visit. The manicure was wonderful, but the pedicure was with another technician who seemed to be in a hurry. I look forward to the pedicures because they are so relaxing, and I felt that I was in pain during it (rough massage, more aggressive technique for cuticle care), and she didn't spend a lot of time or care like the first time I went. She didn't ask if I liked the nail color, which is usually the case when I get my nails done. Now I don't really like the color (no big deal), but the experience here definitely changes depending on the technician. read more

I have recently gotten a job where my nails need to look perfect..so gel manicures are now a regular thing for me. I tried out NailBar Studio three times, and two of the three were horrible. This is a place where they recommend you have an appointment before heading in so I book online for what I want done. The first time was fine, just a typical gel manicure. The second time I had an express gel and pedicure and I sat waiting to get my nails done for two and a half hours for an appointment that should have taken max 45 minutes. Ridiculous but I didn't say anything since they were super busy. I thought I would give it one more shot and booked one gel manicure for a Thursday evening. When I got there I was waved to the colors and picked out my gel polish. The manager was on the phone and she asked me if I had an appointment and I said "yes for (my name)" and she continued her phone conversation. Twenty minutes into my manicure she calls over to me saying I didn't have an appointment and I needed to show her my confirmation email. To my horror I couldn't find it in my inbox, but I remember I took a screenshot of (what I thought was ) my confirmation. Turns out I never clicked confirm. I apologized and, since there was only one other customer there, figured the two other workers at the nail salon could help out and all would be fine. Instead the manager told me to get out of the chair and wait because this customer had a reservation and I did not. Once again, I was mid manicure. I was shocked. Both the other customer and I left (I tipped the lady who was helping me because it was not her fault and she did remove my polish) the establishment because we both felt so uncomfortable. She made sure to scold me again about not making a reservation (once again, I thought I had and I thought she had checked me in). NEVER GO HERE. There are lots of other nail salons that are kind, understanding, and treat people right. This is not one of them. 0/5 stars. read more

I love this new little salon. I made a last minute appointment over the weekend and had no problem getting in. I went for a pedicure but was so impressed with everyone and everything that I got a no chip manicure too. The most important thing in a nail salon to me is the cleanliness, as it should be for everyone. Im sure I have been to my fair share of dirty places that don't sterilize their instruments or clean their pedicure bowls. This place was immaculate. Everything was clean, the instruments were removed from the sterilizer and opened in front of me, and all of the files and nail buffers were disposable. It was lovely. The massage chair was comfortable during the pedicure. The nail tech I had was very nice. I was offered a beverage when I sat down, for which I received water but it looked like they also had coffee and even maybe wine!
