I walked in and was immediately greeted and helped, but based on my visit it would still absolutely be worth waiting for. My birthday is tomorrow and I went to get my nails done there. They did dip in an almond shape. The nails are bumpy and crooked and there's clunks of glue underneath. I will never go here again. Went for the first time to get a gel manicure because a friend recommended them. Not a lot of colors for gel to choose from for the colors I wanted (orange). The guy gave me the drink menu and opened my coke for me which was nice. I thought it was good until my nail polish lifted the next day. I've always liked their proximity to the mall, and I've spent many special times here over the years, but I keep getting really really incredibly rude service. Even if I take my daughter and mother. They only spoke when trying to upsell me to a fancier manicure, when I was trying to keep it simpler and save. They charge considerably for a dip - $61- telling me it was $51, but 61 If it included the manicure aspect (the soaking and trimming and massaging etc) but the one they gave me for $61 today doesn't include a standard manicure with it- you walk out with the same tired and dry hands you walked in with, but with the nice nails on. So they didn't treat my cuticles before they tried to trim them dry and hard, and ripped one open in a force of speed and angst. I was bleeding a small bit, nothing bad. and the tech kept rubbing it aggressively, like almost to hurt me. But he remedied it by applying super glue on top. Which is highly logical. Being a man having a fairly extensive knowledge of nail care and design. I was absolutely blown away with the professionalism and the kindness they gave me. Getting my nails done, though often, still feels a little vulnerable. Since I do normally tend to be the only guy in the store. However they treated me like every other customer, and I was happy with everything. To start, they ask amazing questions. "Is this too hot, what scents do you prefer, does this feel ok?" These questions are actually so common, however for men. Locations tend to assume that I can bear a higher heat, they assume I can handle deeper nail cuts. This location did no assumptions and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Other small details, there is not a single person I can look at and define them as a weaker tech. They all were exceptional and kind with their cares. They could take walk ins (it was a Monday but still), even on a Monday where I'd assume less techs are working. They offer complementary drinks with the service, and their menu is completed with prices for additional services as well. And a few notes for anyone reading this and maybe disagreeing... ***They are not a bad location because you fail to upkeep your nails (either before or after service). They may unintentionally harm you (LIKE EVERY OTHER NAIL PLACE) but they are working with sharp objects that are clean. This place might not have the cutest aesthetic, but they have the best service and friendliest staff. They are always so easy to talk to, and respectful of the quality of service. I have come in many times recently to restore my pregnant feet and they pay so much attention to me with their massage + hot stones! The service was fine, meaning mediocre, and then the woman tried to upsell me over and over. No, I do not want stones, paraffin wax, a flower design. Please just let me enjoy my service. They did not remove any gel from my nails so the price is overly steep for the amount of time. A regular pedicure would have taken longer. I'm not sure why there is such a low score on this place. I avoided it because of the reviews, but then TWO of my friends recommended it and gave me their specific tech name and I was so impressed! I'm going back for sure, and I'm picky. My technician (Nina, ssh lol) was friendly and communicated well, she wasn't pushy at all, all of the instruments and pieces looked to be cleaned regularly and looked clean, the tub was covered in a one time use plastic so as to stay clean, the massage chair was wonderful, the free drink came from many many coffee and alcohol and non-alcoholic options from a menu, the services had tons of different options, the massage was lengthy and comfortable, and my toes look great! My technician knew exactly how to do them the way I wanted, rounded without sharp corners poking me, and my skin feels great from the products, which were one time use and also sanitary. She was so nice to even give my little one a seat and drink and pillow while she waited. I went on a weekday morning so it wasn't busy and it wasn't loud and I watched a worker go around and serve drinks and clean up. I thought it was great. Now, of course it's possible that people had other technicians who were required to push Products on people or maybe they didn't do their toes well, but mine was great. I will say that I chose a brand of polish that I've had great experience with which was OPI and I didn't use the cheaper brand polish. But I didn't do any special treatment to my toes and they look great even the next day. I will be back and I hope the other people have experiences as good as mine was. I will adjust my review if something changes. Instead of credit cards, they accept cash or Venmo or Zelle and there's a two dollar discount for paying cash. I made an appt which made it easy. I think if you don't have a great experience, it might be good to get the name of your technician and write it down and purposely try a different one next time. The first time I came in, I had great service and my tech was very friendly. He was a younger guy with earrings (I didn't catch his name) but he provided a great service. The second time, I brought my sister and neither of us had a great experience. The salon was clean and had a good atmosphere and the free drink was nice, but one of the drinks that was supposed to be hot came back lukewarm in a plastic cup with a straw. As soon as we walked in, a lady told us to go to our seats before we had enough time to think about and decide on colors. Our results were not good, they were not all the same shape and some of them aren't even fully painted. Neither full set was cleaned up either, we were pulling small bits of acrylic off the backs of our nails and our fingertips. The tech also did not push back my cuticles, he used an e-file to file them off, which was very painful and made my fingers bleed. I paid $180 for a fill and a pedicure. First off, you don't get a message because they do your nails at the same time as your pedi. It also hurt my back to lean over the left side to have her do my nails while getting my pedicure. They didn't file my feet during any of the pedicure. The lady doing my nails did a horrible job so I have to find another place to remove these and place a new set on. They are bubbly and look like a child did them. Should have checked Yelp before heading over. I have an infection on one finger and 2 toes, and my bill was $239. So disappointed.

I will never get my nails done here again. The place is dirty and the services felt rushed. The constant up selling was tiresome. The staff was rude and did a crappy job. I went with my mom and daughter and we were all unhappy with the quality of our manicures and pedicures. Then we were charged the astronomical amount of $235 (before tip) for two pedicures, a nail dip and two standard manicures. I don't even know where to begin with this review. I came in for a pedicure a nail dip in preparation for my brother's upcoming wedding. While one person did my feet someone else plopped down and went to work on my nails. She glued several tips on totally crooked and when I said something she informed me my nails grew that way. When the finished my pedicure I was moved over to a table and my brand new shoes were placed in a bag next to the table while. my toenails dried and the nail tech continued to work on my nails. Mind you, I was with three other people, and none of their shoes were placed in bags making it pretty obvious that this spill was being hidden from me. I could tell right away that the woman was rushing through and she did an awful job shaping them. I asked for natural length and softly rounded and what I got was short pointy nails that all have a vastly different shape. Not even remotely uniformed, and even worse they are all lumpy and misshapen, really just awful! As if this wasn't bad enough once I got to the car and put my shoes on, I saw they had dropped some. kind of product over my shoes staining and completely ruining them. It was literally the first time I had worn them. I had to get to work and when so I called on my way to tell them about the shoes they really didn't seem concerned and basically said they didn't know how that could have happened and didn't even attempt to right this wring offering no refund or any other compensation for destroying my shoes and giving me the worst set of nails I've ever had. I am disgusted by this type of customer service. I am going to another place tomorrow to have them redone at my own cost. Long story short, I not only had to pay their ridiculously high prices for an awful service, but they also cost me an additional 40 dollars to replace my ruined shoes, and another $60 to have my nails done properly at a different place and did so totally unapologetically and with no interest in resolving the issue.i read more

I got a gel manicure and pedicure at NailBar about 10 days ago. The pedicure was nice, although as other reviews say, the sales people tried to upsell me several times. I got the cheapest pedicure which was still quite expensive. It comes with a drink, but you have to get the cocktail to make the price worth it. The manicure has been very disappointing. I got a gel and every single nail started peeling off at the base after only about 5 days. They didn't ask me anything about what I wanted either (although they gave me what I would've asked for anyway, so it wasn't a big problem for me but might be for others). It also looks lighter in some areas, as if the coat was spread unevenly. Definitely not worth the money. Finally, they do warn you that they don't take cards but it is a massive inconvenience - paying in cash, venmo, or the cash app is a bit suspicious and presumptuous. I got my nails here on Friday and they didn't listen to what I wanted at all. They totally screwed up my nails. There are imperfections on all of the nails and something embedded into the acrylic on my pinky nail. I wanted my nails short because I work in fast food and they made the super long and didn't care about my opinion when I told them I didn't like them. They left them super long even after me voicing my opinion... They treated my sister like shit. One of the ladies there glued the white tips on her nails and left her sitting there while the lady said " you are all done bye-bye" she also said " you can't function haha" and then continued helping another customer for 20 minutes while my sister had the tips glued to her nails not able to do anything.... From start to finish it could not have taken 20 minutes and that includes the time I waited for my nails to dry. It was like an assembly line. The only downfall to my experience was that they found it difficult to create the look and it took almost 3 hours which might have bumped up the price to $42 instead of $40?
