Great, friendly service and high quality pedicures and manicures. Attention to detail is top-notch. Ambiance is much nicer than a lot of nail salons I have been too. Hight recommend! read more

Terrible pedicure. Callouses were scuffed so worse than when I arrived. Polish looks like a child did it. Don't waste your time or money! Would rate zero stars if I could. read more

Just booked my second appointment. I was looking for a new nail place and basically picked this out of a hat. My daughter and I were very happy with the service - she has a pedicure and I had a full set of nails with Gel. Von talked me into the gel because it looks better and lasts longer. The only other time I used Gel it did not turn out well (another salon) so I was dubious. But Von was right: it looks and performs great. Venus is my new 'go-to.' read more

I barely write reviews unless I feel the need to. I went in to get my nails done for my birthday and I was nervous as I had some bad experiences in Fort Collins. Von did my pedicure and Tim did my acrylic set and they both are AMAZING!!!!! This salon is truly UNDERRATED! It's a hidden gem but it's definitely worth it to try them out. This is my new favorite place to go to and I am so glad to have found it. I also got my eye brows done by Von and they're perfect! I have not one complaint but WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! GO TO VENUS. You WONT be disappointed read more

Save your money. $50 for the gel nails I received is crazy. Good service but very unhappy with the French shape, 'chunkiness', and overall messiness of the nails. read more

Dirty place, very bad job, rude guy! Don't waste your money! I do not recommend this place to anyone!

Tim #1 is the absolute best!! Super great sense of humor and excellent work. Really great experience all the way around!!!

Terrible customer service by the male owner. My gel manicure chipped and it was supposed to match the polish on my toes and it didn't. I didn't notice in their lighting. My toes were rose and fingers coral. He was terrible and acted like it was my fault. Horrible customer service. I will NEVER go back. So rude! read more

Fist time at Venus after trying too many saloons in town to count and we found our new spot! Von was the best! Can't wait to return! Many thanks! read more

Kind, friendly and efficient service / thanks for Venus Nails! Clean space and calming atmosphere

The worst in town. I tried but feeling disappointed. The edges on my fingernails are still rough, the layers are not even. I did the dip powder. Will not go back. The service was good. read more

The person who painted my nails was very pleasant. However, the nail polish was covered with bumps on several nails and didn't look anything like the sample one that made me choose it. My nails don't look professionally done at all. It was not worth the money. Under 24 hours later, the polish has chipped on a few nails and one nail broke. The polish was supposed to be gel polish---I'm highly doubting that it is. read more

I'm extremely picky about my nails. I moved to Fort Collins from NYC and I struggled for a while to find a place here that would do exactly what I wanted. The truth is, it all comes down to the people. I lucked out when I stumbled on Venus Nails, because there are several talented nail technicians who deliver the best results. Specifically, I get my acrylics with gel polish here. I'm demanding about the thickness of the acrylic and shape of my nails; I want them to look as natural as acrylics can look. And Venus Nails comes through; I have never received so many compliments or comments on my nails. People think they are real! Classy. For reference, my rebase with gel goes about $40-45 ($40 might just be a special they occasionally run). I go every three weeks; no chips, no problems to "fix." Just maintenance. Every technician here has always gone above and beyond to make me happy. I actually think they might enjoy how picky I am! They are friendly enough to make me think so, at least. Call to make an appointment with Lee, Tom, Aly, or Aiden. I bet my classy nails on it! read more

The best nail salon in Fort Collins! Not only do they always do an amazing job, but they are following covid protocol to a t! They have everyone use hand sanitizer when you first arrive and I watched other workers clean their stations spotless! I highly recommend Venus nails 10/10 read more

I paid $35 for a shellac manicure. I am at one week and the sides are already peeling up and I had to peel one completely off because it was catching on everything. Also, no special lotion, massage, hot towel or other services for this price. There are many other places in town who go above and beyond for the same price and the shellac lasts much longer! Don't waste your money like I did. read more

This nail salon is great! my nails turned out beautiful. I feel bad for not asking the name of the gentleman that did my nails, but he is a true artist. He took his time and was detailed. I did not wait long at all! I was pampered at the end with a nice hand massage and lotion. The price for acrylic refill with gel polish and designs was only 55$! read more

Their staff is super friendly, and talented! Have had many sets of nails from them, and I don't experience lifting or loss. They can accomplish any crazy idea I bring to them, and they love the challenge. I love that they remember my name, and any friends I bring get their nails done. Professionalism and kindness are huge to me they have it in spades! This time I asked them for Marbled Geode Nails and they did amazing! I am past impressed! read more

I've been avoiding writing a review because I didn't want it to get any harder to get in and get taken care of. I started going to Aiden when he was in Windsor. He's the best in Colorado. I found him when I discovered he bought his own salon. Him and his wife and the entire staff are the best. They care for their clients, they work really hard and they always have the up to date polishes and options. They are incredibly talented and it's always a pleasure to come into their shop. I have sent several friends to the salon and they are lifetime believers. I'm not from here and I've probably in two years been to over 35 salons. This salon BY FAR is the best in Northern Colorado! I'm so thankful to have found someone who is worth the price and more! Highly recommend and I can guarantee if something goes wrong and it could, I know they will always make it right. Call ahead so you can get an appointment! read more

Okay I was just charged $30 for the WORST shellac manicure. The gal doing my nails literally cut everyone of nails bed too narrow and too short and was bleeding. When I pulled my hand out to tell her she was hurting me, she just put something called, "kds styptic liquid" on every nail bed. My nails are literally in so much pain. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

First time going there had Amanda and she was amazing. Second time was complete opposite with my experience. I have never felt more rushed in what should be a relaxing experience and time. The pedicure was the fastest one I've ever had and never actually did any work on my toenails minus take off old polish and paint on new polish. The owner Tim did my manicure and he was rude and glared at me multiple times. First I was trying to pick out my dip colors and he acted like he was in a hurry. Once I had them picked out he continued to act rushed and kept glaring at me because I wasn't completely ready and was trying to take off my watch and get more comfortable in the seat. He never actually did a true manicure of cleaning up dead skin around nails or anything. Just rushed through the dip process and had me pay and he quickly left after I scanned the card. He never said thank you for coming into his business or anything. He also kept complaining because my nails were short. I have to keep them that way being a nurse. Also their dip sample colors did not match at all with the numbers. I was going to say something but was afraid to by how he was already acting. They weren't even very busy and had plenty of staff to help everyone. Not sure why my two people were acting in such a rush. I've never been in such an unwelcoming environment. I will not be returning and will never recommend anyone to their business. read more

I am a very positive person in the light and always willing to give people a try. I went into this place getting gel w/tips which was a new step for me since I always did dip powders. I sat down and it felt very laid back which was nice but didn't have a warm feeling as much. My friend got a nail dip on natural nail which she absolutely loved! I am usually quiet and like to watch people doing my nails so the quietness didn't bother me. She did find a complementing color to go with my red which became my favorite! After my friend and I paid ($55 for mine) and walked outside in the car, I noticed I had uneven pinkies and middle finger nails. Then my thumbs stuck out with a flat edge which was suppose to be round and they were slanted to the side when she filed them. They look more almond shaped than rounded but I trusted the lady and went for it. Unfortunately my thumb is now hurting more and more now and two fingers on my left hand have little picks in them from when she put on the gel when you look at them in the light. I really wanted to have a good experience but she was a little rough with my cuticles and rushed since it was a 4pm appointment. She did give me a hand massage with lotion which made me feel wonderful at the end. Just wish the nails could match a little more and have a nicer display since I wanted to take pictures for my engagement pictures. read more

I really wanted to like this place. Super clean, spacious, they're making a serious effort. My pedicure and manicure both lasted an epic amount of time, although the manicure was not as neat in polish as I would have liked. Thats not why I won't go back, but here is why: My technician, as well as one or two more employees walking around, looked and seemed overworked/overtired/undernourished to the point where I couldn't help but feel horrible about being there at all, and especially terrible about having them remove callouses from my feet. Not relaxing. It was an eerie, icky energy pervading the whole space due to this. I know nail salon work must be hard and tiring, but the woman who seemed to be managing seemed impeccably groomed and well rested while everyone else gave out weird vibes. Not good. If you're not as sensitive to this stuff as I, might not matter as much. read more

I'm very unhappy with my pedi, mani I got this past Monday. I believe that the young man that worked on me was not properly trained or that he understood what I was telling him. My nails were done in the mani chair & not even soaked, I told him that my cuticles needed special care because they were really bad and it looks like they were not hardly touched. My pedi looks like I could of done it myself in fact I would have done much better if I would have. Unfortunately I will not be going back. read more

Tom is the best! This salon is extremely clean and very relaxing! The owners are really nice too! I highly recommend Venus Nails!

Got a set of dip nails done. Had one chip half off 12 hours later. Went back the next day and they were very nice about it and fixed the nail for free. However......... by day 5, nearly every single nail was chipped off. Ended up just taking the remaining pieces off on my own. The dip was very thin, even after I asked for an extra coat to give it some stability. Won't be going back... but they were very nice!! read more
