About two minutes later, while we were looking through the service book, he told us someone was ready for us. We were still deciding which pedicures to get because we had dinner reservations later and wanted to make sure we had enough time. After standing there for another couple of minutes while we decided, he told us, "There's another nail salon across the street if the price of our services is going to be an issue." We left immediately. At no point did we say or imply that price was an issue--we were simply deciding which service would work with our schedule. His assumption, tone, and the rushed nature of the interaction made us feel extremely unwelcome and unwanted. The comment felt like an ignorant and intentional microaggression, especially considering there was no reason for him to assume we couldn't afford their services. I see that most of the reviews here are positive, but unfortunately, our experience was anything but.

That behavior alone was enough for us to leave. Mocking or insulting customers in another language is immature and unacceptable. We wasted our time and left feeling disrespected. I will not support a business that changes prices after the fact and treats customers this way. The staff are super friendly. They were warm and welcoming. I got a pedicure and a full set, both with gel, and paid ~$180. A bit high! I will say that I'm about two weeks post pedicure and my gel chipped off. My gel pedicures normally last a month, sometimes more. My nails are still good, but it took a while for the nail tech to get the right shape. They had to ask for assistance, which I appreciate because I'd rather have someone else step in rather than leave unhappy. They were kind and understanding. There weren't many color options, but staff really worked with me to try and find one I liked. So kind! I'm unsure if I'd go back, but there were several other people there.
