I have never been here before today and wanted a pedicure. I was visiting my grands and when leaving I saw this salon. I walked in and was warmly greeted right away. It wasn't crowded at all, which was awesome! Jackie provided my service. She was thorough, meticulous and fast. After my toes were painted and dried, she gave the best foot massage! The salon looks clean and it's quiet which I appreciated. I got a gel pedicure and very happy with the results and pricing. $39 no callous removal. $1.00 additional for debit/credit. Pd $40 plus tip. read more

I went in for my first time Sunday 8/2/26 and it will be my last time, I had an appointment right at open. I asked on the phone how much a regular pedicure was and was told $26. As my pedicure is starting the older lady doing my feet seems irritated that I'm asking for the regular pedi instead of the 40 something dollar one she keeps telling me to get the, basically every package and add on they had. I should have left at this point everything inside of my gut is telling me leave. But I'm the only one inside this place and I feel bad that maybe she's just in need of money. I had previous gel on my toes. And when she finally started she gave all the attitude and roughness she could. She didn't soak remove my gel only grinded it off, I asked are you going to fully take it off? She waved me off and continued to grind the gel off (it doesn't fully come off that way) at this point I'm mad at myself for sitting in this chair. By the time she's done polishing my nails it's a mess, very lumpy bc it's over previous gel base coat and to be honest I guess since I didn't pay the big bucks why did she have to do a good job, right? I go up to pay and she tells me it's $32, ok why? Well I removed your gel, ok you didn't but here's my card. She oh well it's gonna be $33 dollars for using your card. This place couldn't get me to buy a bigger package, so instead they stole money, bc she didn't provide the service she charged me for, which is why I'm writing this review. Be upfront and honest with clients, and maybe I would've been back. read more

I would give this less than one star if possible. I got a manicure and not only did she not ask what I wanted, how I wanted them shaped, the polish was so old it had changed color. After she finished she dunked the tools in used water and put the back in the package. It is unsanitary and I will not be back. Worst experience I have ever had and the owner could not be bothered as she was watching her stories. read more

I tried this place for the first time 9 days ago on 9/5. The two ladies that I saw were great and the customer service was great. Unfortunately, the actual gel nails service is pretty bad. In less than 9 days my gel nails cracked, started peeling, and the shine on the tips is even gone. I noticed this early on and it got worse each day, today being the 9th day. My nails at other places have always lasted a good 3 weeks (even 4 weeks) before showing any signs of wear other than the nails growing out of course. See pictures. Sadly I can't justify going back even if the customer service the day of was great. read more

My normal nail salon had a 45 min wait. So I decided to stop at Nail Studio. The service and attention, I received, was excellent. It was a quiet and calming vibe. Sometimes nail salons get too loud and chaotic, this place was the opposite of that. Prices were reasonable and quality is good. I will definitely return. read more

I made an appt here morning of for 5p for manicure. They are so sweet and the prices are great! I was done in about 40 minutes and they take cash or card. Very clean and everyone here was regulars. You could tell with the friendliness but it was my first time. I will definitely be back! read more

I walked into this place, needing a gel manicure. I had gel polish on my mails and those who know what that is like, know how laborious it is to work over them. Well, luck was on my side. June was terrific! Very patient, skillful, and detailed. I never felt rushed. She took time to ensure that my nails were prepped for the new gel polish. She took time to really cut, clean, and buff my nails and worked with my indecisiveness over choosing a color. Most other places would never be this patient! Personable, too. Those who live in this area are lucky to have this kind of nail service available. I am definitely returning to have a pedicure before I fly out and also every time I am in this area! read more

I went in asking for a oval French tip, first thing I noticed was the lady spent very little time on nail prep and did absolutely no cuticle care so I still had a bunch of hang nails before she started glueing on the tips Then when she started on building the nail she just put 1 layer of acrylic!!! NONE of my nails have an apex for nail strength so they will most likely break off And the worst part is they aren't even French tip!!!! Half of my nail is white!!!!! She didn't even ask me if I wanted gel, she just started using it & of course she didn't put any cuticle oil on after But the real kicker is they charged us 70$ !!!!! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!! Despite all of this they were all really friendly I will give them that, unfortunately the quality was lacking read more

Love that this nail shop has later hours than your conventional nail shops. I found this place on Yelp! after plugging in the parameters for a nail shop that was open after 6:30pm. No appointment and they squeezed me right in! I only needed a fill and didn't want to look ratchet. Spent the day completing errands and totally lost track of time. NAIL STUDIO was a lifesaver. Price was cheap compared. No joke. With inflation and everything going up, this place keeps it real with only $20 for a fill. Granted, I had over a month's worth of growth on dipped nails, so this was a complete bargain for me. Will definitely be back. This may actually be my new nail salon. read more

I got the pedicure with callus removal and sea salt scrub for only $30 and it was 100% worth it. She cared for my feet and took her time, the only thing I wish was different is that the massage chairs don't work :( but I'll definitely be back! There's no ambiance so if you bring your headphones for music you should be fine! read more

Good option if you are short on time, didn't plan ahead, and need just a simple Mani Pedi. Called on a Sunday afternoon to see if they would take two Mani Pedis and they could so we hopped in the Jeep for the 10 minute drive. They are located in the same plaza as Planned Parenthood. Got a simple Mani with gel Pedicure. Classic Pedicure was $28 Gel Manicure $32 Total $60 They charge $1 for credit card charge. The women here are super sweet tho, I have to say. Really good service. I had two people working on me at the same time. They both didn't rush, which I appreciated. I've only been here once and would come back. read more

Used to love this place but after this time, disappointed in the quality of my nail job. It's been three days and my gel manicure is peeling on several nails. Seemed they rushed the process. My toes were done with a bottle of what seemed an older clumpy polish. I told her while she did that there was another bottle same color on the wall if the bottle she was using was bad, instead she kept using it and my nails are super rough and not shiny. I didn't notice it until I left and touched them myself. Not bothering to call them back to fix the problem since last time they've charged me 5 dollars a nail to fix. At this rate I would be paying the cost of a whole new gel manicure. Time to try another place. read more

The nailshop has been around the plaza location for so many years because it's such a great place to get all your nail needs and some. The employees are so friendly and they make you feel like family. They remember all the regular customers name and they always make you feel special. The environment is clean and all their equipment are sterilized. I highly recommend Nail Studio. read more

3 stars for my first time here. I'll Prob only Return for the pedicure. Came on a Friday with no Waite. Full set was ok at best, $55 for "long nails" and gel color which weren't long at all shape was ok for square but pretty thick. Didn't wash my hands prior to adding color after file and drill and def some Bubbles... not impressed. I chose the European pedicure. $34 WORTH EVERY PENNY! She took her time and my Feet feel and look great. read more

Me and my better half went t get mani and pedi date was good to do I enjoyed it I mean get it done was in the waiting room really nice environment nice and quiet they take care of you they get right to work so it's good to do take care of my feet and got my feet soaked rubbed so awesome I recommend if you don't get it done you should get it done all the time located here in Lakewood on the level in Bellflower plenty of parking feel safe as we're getting check them out it's really good soaking feet everything read more

Walked into this space on a whim, and I feel so lucky to have found this gem! Jackie and the crew are such friendly and experienced technicians, they harbor an environment of love, warmth, cleanliness, and expertise. I got a gel manicure and pedicure and was so shocked at how reasonable the price for both came to be! Another important element I wish for future patrons to know, is that this nail salon caters to the early birds! I arrived at 8:00 am on Saturday, and though they didn't have to take me early, they did! How gracious and wonderful was that! I was able to get the best manicure and pedicure before a scheduled departure later that day! Thank you again Jackie! I can't wait to return! My new regular nail shop for sure! This place has the coolest hours. 8-8? No other nail place does that. Nobody. So convenient for anyone who works long hours like me. I noticed that everyone mentioned the customer service and level of care here in their reviews. Let me tell you. So true! This place treats you like you're family. Everything they do each step of the way they check with you first. The owner is like that favorite grandma that you never had and she's so sweet that you just wana give her a hug everytime you see her. So glad I have a new nail place that's so close to me. This was a terrible pedicure. I just had a baby and haven't had a pedicure in almost a year. All I wanted to do was relax. The massage chair was broken, my $30 pedicure apparently didn't include a massage nor was I offered one until I asked and my nails were already painted. Really unhappy. I stopped into this nail salon in desperate need of a manicure and out of pure convenience. The reviews were solid so I figured why not. When I arrived, the strip mall it is in was a little run down, but I decided to still try it anyway. When I got inside, the place looked ok but somewhat outdated compared to other places I frequent. However, I was here, so I overlooked all of that. There is a reason they deserve 5 stars. It is all about service and quality of work. The lady who did my gel manicure (sorry, didn't get her name), was friendly and took her time working on me. This place has been around for a long time and you can tell the women working there have been doing this for a while. Also, everyone who came in while I was there, seemed to be a long time customer. I really appreciate the attention to detail, the clean and refreshed feeling I had on my hands afterwards, and that she took her time and didn't rush. I wanted to like this place but my nails just look so sloppy and were done way too fast. I got a fill and it looks like she just painted over my grown out nails. Also got the paint all over my cuticle and I've been trying to clean it up myself for a whole day. Paid $77 for my hands and feet and they don't even look that nice read more

Nail Studio has always been my favorite nail salon. I always drive an hour away to get them done here at this place. Today when I arrived there, they said they can't take me because they are closed. The thing is they always close at 8pm and I arrived at 7pm sharp and she said they can't help me. I don't understand why. I told her it says on the door that you close at 8pm, I tried explaining how I drove from far away and that this is my favorite nail place. But she refused to, turned and walked away. That wasn't just very nice, and they truly lost a loyal customer. I am never coming back here again. read more

This day I was so frustrated because I had went to Sawn Nails (refer to my review on their page) and I got AWFUL, THE WORST customer service ever. Needless to say came here and they not only helped me right away but they did fantastic. As she was doing my acrylics she continues to ask me how I liked my nails so she could do them the exact way I liked them. I wanted the French ombré effect on my nails and she did explain they hasn't done this before but that she would do her best! I told her that was all I could ask for. (Refer to my picture) The customer service was fantastic, they had messed up a nail and she went over and started all over again to fix it. I am so happy with my nails and this place! They even got busy and called a girl in and she came in and didn't complain and got right to doing a pedicure for a lady ! The atmosphere and the customer service all of it was simply fantastic ! I would not recommend this place AT ALL. I arrived and asked for a fill and she quoted me $25. I said oh perfect ! I've never had a fill. Mind you my fill was very minor , my nails didn't grow too much. I did my usual French tip gel. I had to constantly ask her to fill in the fill with more acrylic and to shape into a square because she wasn't shaping them correctly , it didn't bother me that she constantly had to fix things. I was very patient. When we finally get to the French tip that I wanted she told me she couldn't do it but when I first arrived she said she can... so I just ended up going with a basic classic French tip that ended up looking horrible. It was late, so I felt rushed. I go to check out and pay the $25 and the lady says it's $52!!!! I said WHAT ?! That's what I normally pay for a fresh NEW set !! She said it's $52 with the gel !! That is unbelievable. I didn't want to argue, and didn't have time for this so I just paid it. So buyers be aware , this place sucks and they rush through your nails and you're better off saving your money!! Because for the price it looks like I could of did this myself. I will never recommended this place to anyone. read more

I chose this place because they were opened early. They are clean and friendly. But my nails are hideous. I had a full set put on at another salon 8 days ago. I came in for a fill and she soaked my hands in acetone for so long that my tips were ruined. She tried to say that it was okay because she will just cut them short. I don't mind my nails short and she was the professional so I didn't worry. She cut the nails so short that it looks like I bit them off. She buffed my nails so much that a couple of my fingers were bleeding. My nails are uneven, have globs of dipping powder, and extremely short. My birthday is in 2 days. I do not have time to get them redone and I am so crushed. read more

I took mine and boyfriend's daughters here for a girls spa day. There were 6 of us total and they made time for each and every one of us. One of our girls has sensory/anxiety issues and they were super nice and extremely patient with her. That was what impressed me the most. Their prices are reasonable too. The nail tech I usually go to at a different nail salon wasn't available today. He's always able to get my nails to last a month and a half. When I said I wanted to stop the service, I was told by Tristan who was doing my nails that had to either pay $60 for the hour of time and $5 for the removal or continue with the appointment. The nails themselves look fine, but that's not the issue. The way the situation was handled made me feel uncomfortable and trapped, and it completely ruined the experience. I left upset instead of happy with my nails. I won't be returning and would recommend that anyone considering this salon ask about their policies before starting a service.

Came here to get short almond gel x nails with a French tip design for my wedding nails. I showed inspo pics and requested that the white not be super stark white compared to the pink. My nail tech started off with a thicker French tip to cover the natural nail peeking out under the gel tip. However that did not fit my vision so I asked for a thinner tip. She did mention that you would be able to see the natural nail under the tip and I said it was ok. I realized after I got home that the pink base coat was essentially clear and the natural nail showed in an obvious way in photos even though I thought it looked ok in person. I did not bring this up to the salon because I figured I just chose the wrong design and decided to just go somewhere else to just get a solid color all over. While getting my polish changed at the other salon, the nail tech noticed that my cuticles were completely covered in gel and had to take an extra 10-15 mins just drilling all the gel off my cuticles otherwise it wouldn't have grown out smoothly. She also fixed the nail shape because it was super pointy for almond in my opinion. My reason for my rating is because gel is not good to constantly get on skin. I did notice my original tech at moongirlnails used a brush to wipe off the gel after each tip application which I didn't love since other places I've been to have known how much gel to apply to avoid overflow. Using excess glue and going back to clean up is not good technique in my opinion. And seeing that the excess was not even fully wiped off and left on my cuticles, I cannot in good faith recommend this salon if you want to avoid developing a gel allergy.

She entered the store, easily found everything she she needed, and due to her research, knew exactly how much her items would cost; taxes and everything included. The clerk rang her up and as my dear friend was just about to go on about her lovely Friday evening, she stopped and look at her receipt in hopes to celebrate how spot on her math would be. But unfortunately, she was stopped in her tracks as she noticed an exuberant additional amount charged over her own calculations. $60 worth of odd charges. She had a "things that make you go hmmm..." moment. My dear friend inquired about the additional charges and was met with what seemed to be "I'mma make some bs up so this lady will get out of my face" energy. My dear friend did not like this and asked for the manager and the clerk responded the manager was busy. Friend asked for the manager's name and the clerk gave it and it was the name of the clerk. Friend asked "Is that you??" The clerk responded "Yes." Friends' mind was blown and her annoyance grew. Friend asked for an explanation of the charges and like most businesses that attempt to take advantage of customers, when it got down to the core of it, the manager couldn't explain the charges and offered a refund to her debit card which would take 7-10 business days. My friend wasn't buying it, demanded an immediate cash refund of the over charges and wasn't leaving until she received it. I don't blame her at all. If you knew my dear friend, you would agree she is a lovely person and definitely not the person to play, scam, lie, cheat, or steal from. It would not be wise. Eventually the "clerk/manager/I accidentally over charged you $60 for some hair" came to her senses and refunded Friend in cash and all was calm. In a time when everyones money has an assignment and very few of us can enjoy luxury let alone have spare time and change to beautify ourselves, the last thing we need in a place as sacred as the beauty supply store, is the mindset and ill-political strategies of "wanna-be" oligarchs. This really ain't the time to be messing with anyone, especially women when it's time to get our hair done. This business needs to do better and realize many of us ain't too busy or distracted to read our receipts. This is a warning to them to stop pressing your luck. I have been coming here since they opened, many years ago. I love getting my nails done by Lisa and Lynn, they are always friendly and do a fantastic job on my feet and hands. I have found the best way to get prompt service is to call right before you want to get your nails done to set up a same day appointment. Since they take walk-ins, if you make a future appointment it is often delayed. I will continue coming back as long as Lynn and Lisa keep working!! read more
