She looked at the nail inspo I wanted to achieve for my engagement shoot and helped me understand what options would work. She also took the time to explain the differences in gel builder and Gel-X and provided a timeline for maintenance for each option. Annie knocked it out of the park! She executed the design with a great level of detail. She took her time to make sure I liked the shape of the nails, design, and length since I type a lot for work. While the front desk staff was very sweet, the actual service and sales pressure were unprofessional. This salon claims to be "high-end," yet there was nothing special about the environment. Instead, it was a high-pressure environment where staff continuously pushed for expensive upgrades. I requested a simple polish change, but was told "no" and pressured into paying for a full manicure, with staff demanding I cut and clean my cuticles when I specifically asked not to. They also attempted to force a $15 upcharge on my 2-year-old, who obviously cannot sit still for a full service. They make it impossible to pay for basic services, ensuring a bill over $100. Pricing listed: Basic Pedicure ($38), Gel Add-on ($22), Manicure ($25), Gel Add-on ($18), Kid's Polish ($10/each). The final straw was at checkout: I was aggressively asked if I was going to tip the other staff members. Tipping is a choice, not a mandatory fee, and this inquiry was unprofessional and hostile. I will never return to this establishment.

For pedicures I am open to any nail tech, however, I frequently purchase the deluxe package and it comes with a 10 minute massage and extra scrubs. Tammy makes this well worth it! It feels like a professional massage. Sometimes I'm bummed when they quickly add the exfoliants and/or go really light on the massage, but Tammy made it feel like a professional massage and my skin feels SO soft. I will be requesting her for pedicures from here on out!
