The owner booked an appointment for me with one of her employees who she said was on vacation for Jan. 6, 2026. I was later informed from that employee that she had already resigned. Upon talking with the owner, she said her employee was "stealing" her clients. I informed her that I was calling because she lied to me. This is most unprofessional and fraudulent. The employee's customers went with her to her new place of employment. Those customers were with her a long time like myself. She was not "stealing" anyone from the owner. In addition, the salon is not well kept. I went to the salon because of that employee. It is scary what people will do for the almighty dollar. I would not recommend this salon. read more

I had been here one time before with a simple nail polish visit with no issues. Well today was a daughter and mom date and this was the single handed worst nail place I've ever been to. The salon was dirty (should have turned around at that point) they seated us quickly but then kept jumping between clients. My daughters pedi was way to rough and her nails were filed uneven. The owner tried to rectify and shape correctly. My mani water was cold. Both ladies were rough and nicked me twice. My nails were not evenly cut and the French tip was thick. Worst nail salon! I should have listened to the reviews. DO NOT COME HERE. I'm honestly traumatized after my experienceNot only is the service horrible, but the Manager Linda is manipulative. I came to this salon a few weeks ago. I received a pedicure from their male employee. Little did I know that this would have been the worst and most PAINFUL pedicure of my life. While receiving the pedicure, the man was so rough that I was jerking in my seat, grasping onto the arm rest and reaching for my boyfriends arm sitting next to me. I was trying my hardest not to react as I did not want to embarrass him as I assumed maybe he's just learning. He was filing my skin and was so rough that it felt like I had hang nails that he was filing down into my skin. I took a picture of one of the broken nails of proof of him causing me to bleed so bad it made the underneath of my nail bleed. In addition, the proof of him breaking my nail and it lifted on the left. He broke both my left and right toe nails. Eventually, Linda came and finished the pedicure. I assumed everything was fine. I even tipped them as trying to be kind. The very next day I noticed the rip on my toenail. It was so bad that it cracked through the gel paint. I went back immediately and told Linda and she "fixed" the big toe. That night I put on close toed shoes and when I removed them the paint was completely smudged on both toes, and my second nail was completely broken. 2 nails ripped & smudged. I tried to call and was hung up on. I called again and asked to speak to the manager and never received a call back. I went back a 3rd time to show the manager everything and she tried to say I was lying and it wasn't their fault etc. I even showed her the proof of the man doing my pedicure and she still argued. I was so kind and very patient. Linda said she could repaint the 2 nails but would charge me for the acrylic they would have to put on to fix my nails that they broke. I was very disappointed and tried to ask her to understand that this is my 3rd time back to fix a $60 pedicure I received all in under a month, and the least they could do is either refund me for the consistent inconvenience or not charge me to fix the nail. She insisted it was not a lot for me to pay. I asked her to understand how it isn't fair and if she wanted to make the customers happy and have good service and was sorry the least she could do was cover the "$7" she wanted me to pay to fix my nails they broke. I am very saddened and disappointed in this business. This is not a good business and the owner is very manipulative and plays the nice act but will respond with passive aggressive rude comments in return. I hate to leave a review like this as I try to spread kindness and patience but I am appalled. Do not come here. I now have 2 broken toe nails, a cut, and bruise on my toe, and they will not show authentic care or genuine sincerity. All they want is money. read more

It pains me to write this, but by all means, avoid Nail Studio. I wasn't greeted or cared for, they painted my cuticles instead. The kept offering add-ons I didn't want, even a brow wax. They insisted on gel nails about five or six times. Add to that, you had two tv's blaring and jazz piano on the background. It was so noisy! I wasn't relaxed at all - which was the whole point of getting my nails done. While my pedicure turned out just fine, my manicure became bubbly. The tipping point was when I asked for them to fix my index and middle finger. Instead, the tech added another top coat which made it even more bubbly. I was irritated, paid, and left. Took my girlfriend here for a pedicure for valentine's and the man working on her was really rough. He broke her nails, caused them to tear and bleed. I paid a lot for the service and tipped to be nice. We came back 2 more times to have the nails fixed because both of her nails tore through the nail paint and were smudged and messed up. They refused to refund me and wanted to charge us to fix the rips in her nails that they caused. Very dissatisfied. Waste of time and money. Also last thing the manager Linda called my girlfriend a liar straight to her face. So yeah I was not a happy boyfriend. read more

I've come to nail studio a number of times. The staff is always prompt with greeting you as you come in. They do a great job here, but as with any beauty shop you should tell them exactly what you want, they are not mind readers. These are your hands and face so if you don't let them know what shape you want if you have sensitivities or special desires they won't know. For instance, I am so very ticklish that I am very picky about pedicures. I had one here when I first moved her and explained my sensitivity to the artist and she did her best not to tickle me. This task is much easier said than done. I, in turn, did my best not to kick the poor woman. These folks have always listened to my wants and needs and done their best to deliver. They have also recently expanded their specialty line to include the magnetic nail art and metallics! This is my place to go in ABQ! read more

I went here for the first time because it is close to my house. The technician was friendly enough but she destroyed my nails. My nails are thin from acrylics and this woman ground off my old gel polish with a metal cuticle pusher, taking off more nail than polish. She proceeded to cut me several times and then sloppily applied polish all over my fingers. If I could go back in time and not get this manicure, I would in a heartbeat. My nails are now paper thin and bleeding, with bubbly polish smeared on. Go anywhere else. read more
