I went for the first time with no appointment on the weekend. It was a very cold day, I was seated immediately. I had a friendly man do my nails. Yes he was ordering food but he was engaging with me. I was never left out of the conversation. He was helpful and friendly. He was fast and efficient. He did exactly what I wanted. I wasn't expecting it to be so quick and I as please. The tech - middle age lady with short hair was so impatient and not a nice person. She is a bitchy hag and made some many disgusting snide comments. I recently stopped into this nail salon for a gel manicure. I was taken right away and sat in spot 2. The salon is dirty and worn down. The staff are all on their phones. And only one person was tentative and greeting each person as they walked in. I got a gel manicure on my natural nails french. It took about 20 mins. It lasted about 2 days. It chipped very quickly and had bumps in the paint when I walked out. I will not be back. read more

Around 10 years ago, our new neighbor owned this nail salon. He and his wife provided excellent service and his wife, Jenny, was the most talented nail design artist I've ever known. She also helped me grow my natural nails by being gentle and always, always properly soaking and/or filing off the recent product. They were kind, personable, and made every visit enjoyable. They aren't there anymore. The new owner is nice enough but this has turned into nail butcher shop. The focus is on turnover and the results are awful. I went with my mom for two pedicures, a dip mani, and a dip fill. This was an adventure in the worst way. First, I asked for a jelly pedicure and they insisted I try another one. Back and forth, I told them I just wanted jelly. I'm guessing they don't enjoy cleaning up from the jelly but if it's offered as a service, it's something you should expect. It didn't really matter anyway because I sat in cold water for over 35 minutes before anyone even came to look at my feet, at which point as requested just the basic manicure. The tech asked me why I had done dip powder on my toes before, to which I told her I just wanted to try it (I had removed all dip at this point). She continued to ask me why and shake her head. She looked so unhappy dealing with me I felt uncomfortable, as I had clearly inconvenienced her by being there. She nipped at my toes and did a really awful job on them overall, with paint sloppily on my cuticles and skin on the side of the nail bed. They genuinely looked like a child painted them and I don't say that to insult her skill, simply to point out she absolutely did not care about how they turned out and didn't try. I had a couple of glue on fake nails left on my fingers I didn't have time to remove and she perked up when she found they didn't have to be soaked off (in her mind). They should have been, but she just took a nail tip from the box and pried them off. This rips off layers of your natural nails and is ALWAYS a red flag when at a salon! The owner came to do my dip mani and while she was much more pleasant, she rushed through the process and topped the dip with a gel top coat. The result was poorly prepped nails, thick nails that popped off over the next few days. This visit was over $200. I don't know how, or why, but I do know I will not be returning here and I advise you don't either. read more

I took my daughter to get her first manicure here. We grew her nails out long just for this and asked for a gel set. She was sat in a seat and waited 30 minutes until someone finally saw her and decided to do her nails. He rushed through them and did them in less than 10 minutes. He didn't even put the hearts on and they look nothing like the pic she brought. He also cut all the length off of her nails. I had to tell him she wanted hearts and he got all pissy cause he had moved on to a next client. I'm extremely dissatisfied and feel like since she is a child he didn't care to do a good job. Got my nails done and they cut up both of my index fingers. The lady doing my nails asked me if it hurt and I said "yes, a little" and she proceeded to do the same thing in the same spot. I had scabs on both of my fingers. Not even 1 week later my index finger nail SNAPPED in half, like the top just fell off. I wasn't doing anything to make it snap either. And now it's been about 2 weeks and my middle finger nail also snapped in half when picking up a SOCK. The lady told me they didn't have the color I wanted but when I went back a few days later to get my nail fixed they had it. read more

I wish I had read the reviews before going to this salon. I am visiting from out of state and wanted to take my granddaughter to have her nails done. Two days later the gel polish started coming off. It was then that I discovered she did not get the fill that I paid for. All the tech did was apply the new color. I did not take her back because I was very angry and did not want to deal with these people again. We found another salon to do her nails correctly. Magic Nails did a great job and were very friendly. Needless to say, I will be reading reviews in the future. If I could post this review with no stars, I would. read more

My husband and I went to get two pedicures and they sat us down right away. We waited/soaked for 20 minutes. My guy came over and I chose the $50 pedicure due to wanting a longer massage and hot stones on my calves. I had to remind my guy to add the salts to the water. I then told him not to use the cheese grater on my heels. He said ok, and then proceeds to get the cheese grater, to which I said NO! I asked him to use pumice on my heels and bottom of my feet. He sat and stared at me. I asked him if he knew what pumice was and he got up and retrieved the pumice stone. Part of my package was hot stones and wax to include hot towels. My guy may have used the hot stones for all of 2-3 strokes on each calf and then was done. He then proceeded to completely skip the paraffin wax treatment. He painted my nails and was done. My husband had a "cold water" soak for 20 minutes but his guy refilled with warm water and was great. On my way to pay I didn't ask, but said I'm only paying $40 for my pedicure due to the guy skipping 1/2 of what the package included. There was no argument. I was just another quick $40 ticket to get in and out of their chair. I'll be going somewhere else in the future. Do better! Know the packages you present to your customers. Don't skip portions. $50 for a 30 min pedicure should be the BOMB, not a poor rush job. Educate your employees! read more

I have tried this place twice, and I do not recommend. They do not seem to clean the pedicure bowls in between customers, and the nail tools came out of dirty looking cup. The tools themselves did not look well-cleaned either. The woman that did my pedicure didn't seem to know how to trim my toe nails well either. At one point I expressed that I wanted to look at what she was talking about bc I was not confident that she knew what she was doing. My nail broke but it couldn't be seen bc of my gel polish, but it was straight across and not crazy or anything. She suggested trimming it in half instead of clipping across, but that would have left me with a really off looking nail that could snag on things. I appreciated that she brought it to my attention and wanted to address it, but she had no idea how to handle something as simple as a broken nail. When I asked to look she wouldn't fully move out of the way so I could see. She didn't seem equipped to trim it down, so I walked her through it. I've never experienced this before. Anytime I've had a nail break the techs have been able to offer a few options and seem knowledgeable. My first experience was better. My nail tech just didn't have a great personality. He made rude comments especially when I didn't want to add on more devices than what I came in for. I have a great regular salon, but sometimes they get busy and this one is close as well, but my regular salon is much better and well with the wait. Last time ever coming here. read more

I have been going to this salon for about 7 years now. They have recently updated their pedicure chairs and have gotten lots of new staff members. Nick does the absolute best acrylic with gel overlay in town!! I am an ex nail tech and he is the only one I will go to. Jenny does a great job on my pedicures and can do ANY nail art you can think of. Their pricing is in line with every other salon for services and add ons. I see most reviews are from several years ago... I recommend giving them a shot!! read more

This place is amazing!!! The staff is super friendly, they have always been able to get me in immediately as a walk-in (even on weekends), and their "regular" pedicure is considered a "deluxe" at other establishments. They add a paraffin foot dip for extra moisturizing and the steam / towel wrap on your legs - included in the regular rate. The salt-water fish tank is pretty and relaxing to look at, too! read more

Swung by here last week to get a manicure, (was not impressed with the other nail spa I tried in Wentzville), and it was just so so.. ) The spa seems pretty when you walk in, very big with lots of stations set up. Upon closer inspection, the place looks run down and in desperate need of new chairs and equipment. And the whole place could use a good cleaning! Dirt behind stations, the walls are chipped up, nail clippings on the floor. Not cool. The nail tech pulled out a cuticle clipper, rinsed it with acetone and started cutting my nails.. I asked her if it was autoclaved and sterilized, she said yes, but I didn't see any cleaning stations.. I hope I don't get some funky nail fungi!!! $15 for a basic manicure, the tech was very pushy about adding a gel coat, which I do not care for, and had to tell her "No thanks" like 6 times. Not super impressed with the quality of work. I will probably not come back, I'm going to find a better place. read more

I have been coming here regularly for months and come here because it's super close to my house but their service isn't great. Once the tech cut my teen daughters finger and when she didn't stop bleeding right away he asked her If she was diabetic . What ? Who does that? My daughters gel polish has bubbled almost every time she goes , sometimes requiring us to return . They blamed her saying she must not put her hands into the light machine far enough, however at other salons there was never an issue for her , I believe he tech rushes and doesn't let her nails stay under the light long enough . We also have been skipped twice meaning , we put our names on the list , sit and wait a while to then be told it will be another 15-20 mins, which is fine with us but we should leave and come back , only to return five or so mins later to people that walked in after us having their nails done ( they didn't have appts either). Last weekend was the last straw walked next door to five below to grab a drink and told my daughters let's just go back and wait I know it's only been a few mins but when we returned they had taken the only other women that were waiting instead of my daughter and I . What a waste of time I scratched our names off the list and went to nail pro... they got us right in and did a great job , I will be using nail pro from now on. read more

I took my best friend for a pedicure and manicure is was the worst experience I never had at a nail salon. The nail polish was so gummy from adding so much acetone to they won't dry hard. I spent 106.00 it was terrible. I had to go home and redo them. Needless to say my friend had to redo hers to. Waste of money! Makes me sick! read more

I've been looking around for a salon in town that is clean unlike the other places I have been to. Luckily I had found Nails Spa. I was on a rush to a birthday dinner and had came in around 7:30 when the sign said they closed at 8. Jenny was glad to take me in and give my nails a new set. I came back a couple weeks later for a pedicure and was very satisfied by how clean everything was. Service was great. Tan gives an amazing massage and paints very detailed. Absolute WORST customer service ever. The Guy Never Said His name. Did not say a word to me. Did not ask how I liked my nails or anything. He broke the bottle of nail polish and told me to pick out a different color. He would not assist me in looking for gel colors. He laughed at me. I asked him why he was being such a jerk and he not only continued laughing at me but started speaking in his language and I assume talking about me because the other employees started laughing also. The environment is cold. The nail techs do not talk to customers. This place is aweful. I will tell everyone what happened to me there. I went to nail spa and had a terrible experience! DO NOT GO THERE! If I could put no stars I would! I am a mom of four and never get time to myself so when I go and do these type of things it's a big deal. It started off with them buffing the gel off my toes and they nicked me numerous times! And the technician knew because I was bleeding! He then proceeded to tell me the my feet looked terrible! Once again I'm a mom that doesn't get time to myself ever! I was very uncomfortable after that comment. I get the gel because I want it to last a long time. Right after they got done the polish looked dull like there was something wrong. When I was paying, the tech asked me to tip him!!!!!!!! Even after he had cut me! When I got home all my nails started bubbling and peeling off! I went back the next day and wanted a refund because I didn't want them touching my feet and getting chemicals on the areas where they had cut me! He refused to give me a refund and would only offer me a gift card! I didn't want the gift card because of my experience and I have heard that they do not honor the gift cards! The place appeared to be fairly clean for the most part which is why I am giving it two stars. I went in for a pedicure and asked to sit in the spa chair. After a few minutes the lady came over to start my pedicure and asked if I wanted the regular or deluxe pedicure when I was asked the difference she told me it was $35 vs $25 if I wanted the deluxe which included a leg mask which was the only difference. I declined the deluxe and then she rolled her eyes at me. My entire pedicure was a total of 12 minutes long (what a joke right) which included my massage (if you even want to call it that) and my extremely sloppy polish job where she got red nail polish all over toes and failed to clean it up. I will never ever go back to this place and will be telling all my friends about the rude experience and sloppy quick pedicure I received from this nail spa. read more
