She is basically the reason the salon stays open. I've been going to her since I was 9 and I wouldn't trade her for the world. She is always busy and over booked so expect long waits with her. She is totally worth it though. She also does amazing eyebrows. The prices are pretty cheap. Just the location can be a turn off if you're not from the area.

My appointment was at 12 but they were busy of course and I didn't get seen till 12:35. But that's understandable. Finally got seen and I was in NEED of an acrylic refill. My pinky nail broke so I was hoping it would get redone. The girl doing my nails, Iliuska, was super sick and was coughing everywhere. I heard her tell another client that she had the flu so that did not excite me. Lol She asks me "want me to cut them a little bit?" I loved my long nails but I said "ya just a little" She CHOPPED my nails off!!! I was in shock. She didn't even ask about the length before chopping them. I think she saw how short my broken nail was and was too lazy to fix that one so she made all my nails the same length. I was so upset. She said "there's nothing I can do with the short nail" DUH you just chopped all my other nails off! She then drilled the shit out of my nails (and cuticle). I said "ow" to you know...give her an idea that I'm in pain. And she said "you need to tell me when you're in pain" GIRL...OW MEANS PAIN. And I think you should know when you're drilling my SKIN. She then refilled my nails but without fully taking off the previous polish. I was getting pretty sad. I was so tense but trying to stay calm. She then pulled out the nail file and was barely looking down so she kept getting the nail file caught on my skin. She kept saying "you need to relax" every time she messed up. I went from sad to pissed pretty quickly. She painted my nails really well but I was already in such a bad mood by the end of the appointment that that didn't mean much to me. Oh. Then she bathed my hands in oil...my hands were all shiny and slippery. I had to wash them again right after. Lol Not coming back here. Horrible experience. I asked to have my toes WHITE (like snow white) and the lady chose to do them an off white even when I pointed out to her that that was not the color I asked for. She continued using the incorrect color so I called another lady over and asked her to bring me the white I had asked for originally (my lady kept saying there was no other white but I could obviously see a non-gel white on the wall.) So I compared the two colors when the 2nd lady got it for me and I emphasized that my toes were not white and even nicely gave her the option to just top off my nails with the white I asked her to without needing to start over. She refused to because "her white was more elegant like funny bunny and the white I wanted was too white like chalk" IM SORRY BUT WHAT?! These are my toes. If I want chalk white, I should get chalk white, not whatever she wants...???? I want to emphasis that this all happened in the middle of her doing my toes NOT after she was done so she could've easily just switched to the white I requested. Attached are photos for evidence which were taken right after leaving. The "white" she was using had no pigment & you could tell was very old. You can literally see the streaks on my toes. The edges were also done horribly. ****To top things off, I booked my service with Janet Campos but instead I had Lourdes Ramon and was not given any explanation. I was charged Janet's price ($25) instead of Lourdes' price ($20). I told them this and the receptionist and Lourdes literally just shrugged and charged me extra either way after all of this mess. When the hair stylist finished, my hair looked great and a nice blow dry, however as we all know the hair if it has some type of flaws it wont show till the hair set, that afternoon I started seeing how my hair was standing up and then noticed that the right side had more volume than the left, which I had addressed her about this issue (not going to mention names) I always have more hair on the right side. I had to call that afternoon and was told that I had to have the cut corrected by the same person, but her hrs on the w/days were impossible for me, spoke to the mgr and she told me to go in and someone else would help, honestly the one that helped me seem to be really good, however something did not go right, because when I got home that side was now shorter than the other and sticked out like a sore thumb, my hair has never been the type to stand up, I have excellent hair and has the ability to hide flaws, but this flaws were too much. I am not going to disclose everything that took place relating to this incident.. Sometimes this things cant happen, as we are not perfect, but the handling could use some improvement. This Salon is very presentable, so if u going to go be cautious when u have your hair done as they have cameras and they will tell you that it shows that u left happy.....But they are not counting that hair must set before u can tell if it was cut with no flaws.

They told me they are no longer accepting the Groupons, even though they are still live and you are able to purchase them, but that they would give me the deal for $40.00. I drove over and when I got there, the salon stylist told me once again they weren't accepting them anymore. The wash, conditioning, and cut was $30.00, and to blow dry it was an additional $45.00. She stated that price for the amount of hair my daughter has is "a gift" and I won't find it anywhere else.... Because I found myself in a tough situation and I needed her hair to be cut, I went ahead and proceeded. Total with tip was $88.00. Yes, I could have walked away, but I needed this to get done. Bottom line, false advertisement on Groupon. A client that was there told me she went from the "Groupon" price of $70.00 for the same services, but adding color to it, to finally being at $125.00. The person that recommended this place to me told me the same thing- they will "honor" the Groupon price, but no longer accept Groupons. This was months ago. Sometimes we find ourselves in situations where we need something done and comply with the terms, but feel unease and taken advantage of. I do not recommend this place. You start with one price and end with another.
