NP was my nail place when I first moved to the area because they seemed to be the best at it. My first few times going I was lucky enough to get an amazing nail tech/artist (I wish I could remember her name) and she did great work. Knew what I wanted and was able to pull off beautifully crafted sets. I'm from a place where you pay premium to get your nails done because that's just how it goes so I wasn't too put off by the price if the end product was nice. Unfortunately that didn't last as my last few forays there were simply underwhelming and frustrating. The greeter was generally rude and seemed to give out random wait times (which almost never corresponded to actual wait time... my friend and I waited almost an hour after being told 15min!). My standard is a coffin nail, approx 1" in length, acrylic, and gel polish over top. The Tech I'd see when I first started going knew exactly what I wanted so they were nice. The second tech I'd get each time didn't know what that was, didn't bother to ask, and just did whatever she thought looked ok-- I'd shown photos, asked to have certain things shaved/filed down, and I was met with "no your finger just looks like that" or "don't worry it's fine." For about a month I had janky nails that made me mad each time I looked at them but I paid almost $70 for them so I was gonna ride those damn things out!! read more

Extremely rude customer service.. Walked in with no hello, just "what do you want... Pick color". Pedicure was ok, have had better ones there, in the past. Upon leaving, the women who did my pedicure, thought I was not leaving her a tip and came over to me and said, "you aren't going to tip me?" I wish I could give this place zero stars. I used to go here regularly but I could not stand the rude staff and lower-than-average nails any longer. They always try to charge us more than the price chart. They did that to my sister and I , we went back to tell them and they just started laughing at us. Incredibly rude. Stay away. read more

All of my nails are lumpy and crooked. They were trying to charge me $60 for a horrible job. I told them I was not paying anything more than $40 because of how bad the job was. I do not recommend this place. They do not know what they are doing. It was a waste of money, honestly. read more

I don't recommend ever wasting time or money going to this place. Not only were they rude, they don't actually take appointments or go by them. They also barely put any glue when putting on a full set. My nails popped off within days and I had to pay $60+tip for a full gel set. What?! Complete rip off. Unprofessional, rude staff and awful service. They were very hostile at the counter when I asked to buy a gift card and blatantly disrespectful on a separate occasion. As I sat in the waiting area for a friend who was getting their nails done, a male employee made a (rather loud) comment in a language I am not fluent in, as he looked in my direction. I'm writing this review after an experience 2 years ago. Like other reviewers, I found them somewhat hostile and unfriendly to start with. As far as cleanliness goes, I've seen worse! The biggest transgression, however, was that from start to finish, despite my protests, it was the most painful (and non-relaxing!) Pedicure I have ever had in my life! She cut me only slightly once (which was bad enough) but was also extremely rough with the cuticle and filing. I was jumping all over the place, and I'm not that sensitive. She was completely oblivious to anything I said and made no eye contact at all. Was very strange from my usual experiences elsewhere. I personally felt abused, but in the time since that experience I have wondered about the establishment itself, and the people who work there. Could they just be ill trained or is something more ominous going on there. Anyway, I thought about not paying, but ultimately decided to do so, but no tip. Today was my LAST visit to Nail Pro, and I had been going there for years. My pedicure was HORRIBLY done and when I was finished and wanted a gel manicure, the lady didn't even dry my toes so they got ruined. Not to mention they are streaky and uneven. She also did my nails and left polish all on my cuticles and tips of my nails. This place has let me down, and I will never go back don't even waste your time or money. read more

Hit or miss! Some workers are very rude and make you feel uncomfortable. I know their job isn't all that fun, but when I am paying for a relaxing treat I don't want to feel awkward and like I'm an inconvenience. I haven't had a bad job there, but my sister was cut once and they didn't apologize. There is nail dust everywhere and I don't find the place very sanitary. I want to like it! Not the relaxing nail treatment I'm used to. Our nail technician cut our nails but never filed them so we have multiple broken, jagged edges. Our cuticles were never addressed. I had the worst experience ever. My son gave me a gift certificate for Mother's Day for a basic manicure and pedicure. Once I got there they gave me another kind of pedicure that apparently was more expensive. As a result, I left feeling very disappointed, without my manicure. Going to school in the area I was scared to find a new place to get my nails done away from home. I called the places around me with good ratings and they were all busy so I went to nails pro and little nervous because they did not have the best reviews. They just moved locations and the area is huge!!! It is very nice in there. I was very pleased with how my nails came out. A young man did mine after he spoke on the phone for a little bit but other than that I was very pleased! 25 dollars for a gel manicure and I will definitely be going back. Don't waste your money on expensive places with good ratings because I really enjoyed it here. Hopefully you do too! read more

DO NOT GO HERE. Nail Pro was always my first choice for an eyebrow wax until today. I explicitly told the waxer I had been growing my eyebrows out and I wanted to keep the shape and keep them as thick as possible, just clean up the edges. MY EYEBROWS ARE NOW SPERM CELL SHAPED AND MY RIGHT EYEBROW ENDS WHERE MY EYE ENDS. There is nothing left. Nothing for eyebrow powder or mascara to stick to, only imagination. She also burned my skin red raw with wax and left wax crusted in the sad remainder of my eyebrow hair. There is nothing I can do except for draw on eyebrows and wait. Save yourself the pain and misery and do not get waxed at Nail Pro. Not to mention, in their new location, the room they wax in is FILTHY and they had me sit in a swivel chair that was moving around while she was doing my eyebrows. read more

Unprofessional, rude, dismissive and highly inexperienced staff. Not so "Pro" after all! Lady doing my mani and pedi was nice and good though. I came with my five year old daughter and wanted a quick polish on her nails aside from my mani/pedi. They scolded her for holding the polish "because it can break" and when she got scared, they got annoyed for having to wait for her! Really, "NailPro"?! The man from the front desk stormed in raising his voice and ordering her to sit at "table number 4" so he can do it "now" (because apparently they really did not want her to hold that polish in her hand), I had to say no, of course, as she was intimidated and scared and at that point afraid to take a step away from me. She was not going to be subjected to that kind of treatment, even though I was upset she could not get the mani I promised her. I'm disappointed for not having done research and wasting my precious time for a salon that couldn't care less about the customers. The vibe they give off is pretty much reflected in the attitude you encounter when you walk in. No hello, "pick a color!" (I know it's standard in all salons, but they barked at me after I tried inquire about wait time, dismissing my question and rushing to get me to the side), so don't think about asking a question, because clearly, you are a bother! The guy at the desk (who was a total failure) and the lady to the left of the desk who apparently is also a manager must be under a false impression they run a hot salon on Fifth Ave in NYC. Well, I got a news flash for ya', it ain't NYC. You are in Hadley and I can still smell cow poop from the nearby farms... Snap back to reality and take some customer service course, before you run this otherwise nice looking salon to the ground. Ok I have been getting acrylic extensions since I was 14 (I am now 20). I am from New Jersey but since coming to the valley I have found nothing but fantastic salons. I dont know if the entire salon is poorly staffed or it was just my encounter. Firstly my friend got basic french mani and it chipped the next day. I know manicures on natural nails are never the most long lasting but for 17 bucks a day is short. I on the other hand got a full set of acrylics with a design and gel top coat. And everything about it is wrong. First the acrylic nails themselves are waaaay too thick. Once I saw that I should have gone around the corner to Fancy Nails. Then the design, I picked the darkest red they had and it still wasnt as deep as I wanted so I asked the artist if they had a darker one around and she basically scolded me and told me said this is what I picked and it would be fine. Then there is a gold stripe in the design I want I told her to put it anywhere except the middle.... so she puts it directly in the middle. I understand that a lot of the artists in salons do not use English as their first or even primary language, but if you are doing an American service job it is highly frustrating when you cannot/ do not put in the effort to understand the directions you are being paid for. We get through that snafu and they make me sit there for 20 minutes after she finished the design while she does a pedicure. And then on top of ALLL of this the gel that I pay extra for to prevent chipping is flaking off after a few days. Some of it is wrinkling and lumpy. My boyfriends birthday is coming up and I wanted to feel spectacular from head to toe, but this nail job is the pits. I am never going there again. read more
