For some clarity, this is for the new ownership I assume, and there were only 2 techs at the shop this day, with me and another client there. First, I arrived promptly to my appointment and the lady doing my nails can be heard in the back on the phone for about 7 mins. During my time waiting, the other client had been sat and already had got started on her nails. Secondly, my tech had a nasty attitude saying that i was late and that she called me the day before to confirm my appointment. I let her know that I had called her on Saturday and kindly fact checked her. Thirdly, less than 7 days from my original appointment, 2 of my gel-x tips popped off nice and clean. You can see and feel the layer of gel on my natural nail. I'm not sure what part she skipped or if it really just a result of poor quality supplies. Overall, if you're looking for gel-x, make sure they're using the Apres system. It has never failed me, and i've had sets last over 4 weeks with no problems.

I usually come in for a pedicure, and it's become my go-to spot. The massage chairs are super relaxing, and their pedicure packages are a great deal starting at $35. You get a foot massage, hot stones, hot towel, and a callus scrub. The more upgraded packages also include a wax for your feet. They also have a large selection of polish colors, styles, and finish options to choose from. I love that it's easy to just walk in without an appointment, and the salon itself is clean, nicely kept, and even has a chandelier that adds a little touch of elegance. Overall, a solid spot for regular self-care.

Decided I didn't want to wait any longer, then someone was magically available. She got almost done with a "fire walker" pedicure (which is my normal) and I told her I didn't want to do the hot rocks or towels. Just lotion and go home today. "Oh, it's ok, be quick". Fine whatever. I was exhausted anyways. I signed my CC receipt and left without doing the math. After I got thinking about how expensive it was, it was too late to go back, so I stopped in there just now. Mysteriously as soon as I asked to see a current price sheet, my tech nor none of the other ones wanted to speak with me. Only the younger lady that speaks perfect English. They all had plenty to say from the back of the shop yelling towards us at the front though. I couldn't understand any of it but the lady I was speaking with got more uncomfortable by the second. So beware. If this is your preferred place, like it was mine, take pictures, point, circle with a marker, whatever you need to do. Me, nope, never again and I'll get my bank involved.

The wedding nails I got, looking back, makes sense it was $95. I will admit my fault in my second review. Other nail salons wouldve charged me $110+ from what ive researched. They took an hour taking care of me, making sure that my nails werent hurt, making sure the nails looked perfect, and making sure it looks good. This all makes sense. Overall, I will still come back. I still like going to Glamour Nails for the price im getting compared to other salons.
