I cheated on my regular nail salon to try this place since it's closer to my house. I've never experienced a gel manicure happen in 30min. Which would be fine if the quality of service was still great, but it wasn't. It felt like my person was rushing and between the constant upselling, there was plenty of rude and arrogant comments. I also felt like he skipped a bunch of steps I've normally experienced at a variety of nail salons. My skin is extremely dry and the cuts are likely my fault, but I've never left a nail salon with the skin around my nails looking like this either. And the edges of my nails were rough, there were spots of paint on my nails, and the texture on some nails are lumpy or have little air bubbles. Everyone else seemed super nice, so maybe I just got unlucky with my person, but I won't be coming back to find out.

Out of all my years of getting my nails done, I have NEVER had this happen. At first, I thought it was a bruise, but my nail tech informed me what it was and said it was from water getting under it, but there were no cracks nor were they coming up on the sides. He proceeded to ask me if I had them done at their location and I told him yes. ***After a great amount of googling tonight, this is the salons fault. They are not following health/cleanliness guidelines. I will NOT be returning to this location.

I had such a great experience here with Vinny as my nail tech. He was so friendly and fun to talk to as well as being very talented. Vinny educated me on options I had with my nails and even painted a lovely rainbow on for pride month.

I've been a customer in this store since 2009. THIRTEEN years - through all the changes. I've only complained twice. Both times I sent a picture of my feet after leaving their shop. One time they told me to come back in and they'd fix it. I didn't have time. The last time I complained was today. I did so via FB messenger. They read it, no response. Soooo....sorry Daniel and Logan, I'm tired of wasting my time and money when you apparently don't value my opinion or my business. Here is a picture of the result of my $35 (plus cash tip) pedicure this afternoon. Very sad.

I had second thoughts about going in to begin with. Sure enough, my gut instinct was accurate. Not only did the woman file my nails so hard, she actually filed the skin on my finger so hard it left a pretty deep cut and leaving it to bleed. Like, my finger is actually still bloody. I asked her if she could clean it up and she replied with, "I'm not done"... Shortly after cutting my finger, she clipped my cuticle with the nail drill twice- again, making my finger bleed. All while my hands are slashed, there was a customer who came in who was unhappy with the outcome of her service. Long story short- the nail tech and this customer argued for a solid amount of time- in front of other customers quite loudly. They agitated one another so much that it made for more of an escalated argument by both, rather than the nail tech de-escalating the situation at any point. Very unprofessional on all levels. I definitely would not come back, nor would I recommend this place.

I found Nail Lounge by happy accident. I stopped in, saw a man doing a killer Valentine's set on the lady in his chair, and decided to book with him. I returned today for my appointment with Vinny. I got a fill in for my current acrylics, and requested a Valentine's Day inspired nail design. Vinny listened to my request and his artistic talent did the rest. The shape is excellent. Vinny meticulously filed away until I had the perfectly shaped stiletto nails. Smoothe edges and surface. No lumps, no bumps, and no jagged edges. He had an awesome AI gel nail dryer, which boasted how it applies the UV directly to the nails, not the skin, for a healthier experience. There was also a visual screen atop, showing your hands inside the machine. Very demure! I love my nails! Vinny is such an amazing nail artist; he's personable and funny too! I particularly appreciated how he took his time with my nails; I did not feel rushed. Nail Lounge is a fairly small shop compared to some of the others these days. But they have all the offerings of the mega nail salons. I liked their chairs. Each chair had matching little pillows which fit perfectly between the small of my back and the chair, making a very comfortable seat. There is no discount for paying with cash, but you avoid the credit card upcharge (which is less than $2). The employees are nice and accommodating. I was asked by multiple people if I wanted anything to drink. Lastly, I love the pricing structure and how they gave me an itemized receipt to explain the charges. I watched as Vinny keyed in all of my services rendered and the computer priced it out. No guesswork; no making up figures off the top of their heads. Whenever I'm in Nashville, Vinny and Nail Lounge will be my go-tos. Heck, I'd even drive to Nashville just to have Vinny do my nails! read more

I'd never been one to get my nails done until my boyfriend made an appointment with Nail Lounge and I got assigned to Andy. He has absolutely killed every appointment! My nails are gorgeous and they've gotten soooo long!! I get dip when I go and I love it! He's great with designs too! The salon is super cute and everyone is so nice and welcoming! read more

While a majority techs are very talented and I love the people who run it don't go in thinking you'll get to relax more so go to get a great nail job. I do recommend the store. Sarah and Vinny are super talented and can give about any design you ask for. read more

I got the deluxe pedicure done by the old woman and it was rushed. Also they don't clean their tools. Four of my toes got infected a day after and it hurts to walk. Would not recommend please do not go here! read more

I always get the deluxe pedicure ($60) and looove it. comes with all the regular pedicure treatments, plus lemon scrub and hot stone massage. best way to treat myself every month. they are clean, friendly, and thorough. read more

I had a dip manicure at Nail Lounge yesterday, and it was pretty good! The salon isn't huge, but it's pretty nice. They have a lot of regular, gel, and dip colors (almost too many for a girl who has a hard time making choices!). The technician that did my manicure was very nice and efficient, and she did a good job. They didn't sit me next to my friend even though they have some stations for manicures that are next to each other, but maybe that was a COVID thing so the technicians weren't so close to each other! They seemed pretty busy on a weekday afternoon around 5 pm (a few people had to wait). All in all, I think Nail Lounge is similar in price and quality to the average Nashville salon. Definitely wouldn't hesitate to go again if I was in the area. read more

Took my 9 year old daughter for gels as a walk in. They took us right in. The guy was the managers son and did very well with my daughter......the mother/manager however stayed on the phone almost the entire time. The next thing that happened was the Police showed at the door and she was the first person out to greet them. Next, I was asked outside to a nice Metro Officer telling me someone called to say I was considered suspicious because I'm 63 bringing my 9 year old to the Nail Salon. I laughed at her and informed her that she was my daughter. The manager apologized for the inconvenience as did the Metro Officer once she spoke with my daughter and realized there was no incident. In our recollection of the visit, there was only 6 customers in the Salon and one additional half way through our visit and after the Metro Cop left. No body used their phone the entire time we were there .......except the manager......this is how we were treated for patronizing the business following a 114.00 tab. She CLEARLY knew this was my daughter as did her son who referred to me as dad as we ordered my child's nail procedure. Pretty crappy way to treat us after spending 100 plus dollars in the establishment. read more

My nails were a bit ruined from a different nail salon. I left my session with Vinny feeling extremely grateful that I ran into him! I wasn't sure what I wanted when I walked in, honestly feeling kind of defeated from the nails I had on. He got to know me a little while taking my previous nails off and suggested a very pretty light pink chrome. These are some of my favorite nails that I've had in a long time. The shape and length are as perfect as you could get and I can't stop looking at them. He asked me 3-4 times if what he was doing was hurting me. I have NEVER had a nail tech ask me that before, and it wasn't hurting me any of the times he asked. He told me he mostly works Friday and weekends so I would definitely ask for Vinny if you go to this salon on a weekend! read more

Yes, I like short simple clean cut nails It's nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. The management is new as of 5 months ago. I don't think you'll regret it! read more

DO NOT GO HERE. They clearly aren't sanitizing or cleaning their tools. I thought it hurt after I got them done. Everyday got worse. This is a week later. I have a weak immune system. I could die if bacteria is not caught. DONT RISK IT. My thumb and my index finger are completely sore as well just doesnt look like this. Looks like another doctors appt. It's not worth it go somewhere else read more

I wanted to like them so bad but I was very disappointed. I paid for the deluxe pedi with gel which was $75. It was so rushed from start to finish, took her less than 20 mins for her to finish. Barely massaged my feet and legs. Very much rushed! And a waste of money. Not a good experience AT ALL! read more

I wanted to love this place so bad! I asked for coffin and what I got is what is shown in my picture. As soon as I walked out I noticed bubbles in the acrylic so I had to go back in and get that fixed. $115 for 2 pedicures and 1 acrylic fill. NO THANKS. read more

If you go here and they use drills on your nails, they will hit your skin and you will bleed. They are super rough and turn the drills up on full blast, which they do not need to do. They rush and do not pay attention and then blame you if you start bleeding. It's super unsanitary. They definitely need to be reported to the state until they can get their shit together. read more

I've had a hard time finding a good nail salon since moving to TN. Nail Lounge is the one for me! My nails look beautiful. The shape and length are great and my pedicure felt amazing! I'll admit I'm quite picky so giving 5 is a lot for me! If you haven't tried it I highly recommend read more

My nails look EXCELLENT! I took off one star though because at check out I was charged a $3 supply fee for COVID-19 cleaning. I asked her what the charge was for and she didn't explain it, so I asked again. Then she pointed to a sign that has small print stating the additional fee. Ultimately it came out of her tip. Charging customers $3 for you to wipe down plexiglass partitions is absolutely absurd to me. read more

My daughter and I went to get manicures this morning soon as they opened up..I explained while checking in that 2 of my nails were acrylic and the rest were real..once I was sat at a desk I explained to the lady AGAIN that 2 of my nails were fake and the rest were real..as she starts taking the old polish off with the drill she begins babbling to a coworker in their language about my nails ..that tech came over continued their conversation and went back to her station..this repeated again when 2nd lady decides to try and tell me that one of my REAL nails is acrylic. And I informed her YET AGAIN that the mail was INDERD REAL!! She wanted to argue with me stating she could see the acrylic edge what she was seeing was marks from the former times of having my REAL nails done!! I let them know if they can't tell the difference between REAL ails and A RULIC nails I didNOT want them touching my nails and walked out with my daughter in tow!! NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I GO TO TJIA SALON!!! Don't waste your time nor money!! It wouldn't let me not leave a star otherwise it would be ZERO stars! read more

I'm sad to give them 1 star because my first time was pretty good. My boyfriend and I got a classic pedicure and he cut my nail so short it hurt. She nicked my bf multiple times. To make it worse, he cut soo much skin off the side it feels raw. just disappointed. read more

They did a very fast job. After my nails were polished I noticed they were dirty under the tips. They told me to clean them with soap & brush after they were polished. I was charged $45 for a basic pedicure & $25 for basic manicure, I typically pay $45 for mani/pedi. Not a clean environment. Cleaned their tools by simply spraying them. Not an appealing atmosphere. Very rushed. read more

No massage at all. $40 for the gel manicure. When I went to check out and she told the girl to charge me $40 I asked her as nice as possible how that was when I didn't even get the basics of a regular manicure and she tried to tell me that would have been extra. It felt like she was just making the price up to whatever she felt and then poorly made excuses around it. Extremely disappointed after how great this place has been with the pedicures - which my friends were able to enjoy- but the manicure with this person was a 2 star experience and I'll be sure to make sure I'm not with her again. Five stars for toes!

I called the salon afterward and spoke with the front desk to explain the issue. I asked if the nail technician I normally prefer could redo them since he usually does a great job (Tony) The front desk told me to come in the next morning at 9:00 AM and that he would be able to fix them. I had to move some things around at work to come at 9am. When I arrived at 9:00, the technician I specifically requested refused to redo my nails and told me to go back to the person who originally did them. If I felt like he did a good job, I wouldn't have needed to come back, which is why I specifically requested. Someone I knew would do a good job to fix them. This only makes sense to me. What made this more frustrating is that when he refused to do them because he said he had a customer coming in he didn't even try to see if I could come at another time. He just refused to do them. If Tony wasn't available, I would have gladly waited or come back at another time. I never asked for them to be done immediately--I only requested the technician I trust to fix them. They could have easily said, "He has another client, can you wait or come back later?" Instead, I was told to come at a specific time and then refused service once I arrived. As a loyal customer of two years and good tipper I expected better customer service and at least an effort to stand behind the work being done. Situations like this should be handled with more professionalism and consideration for long-time clients. Instead I'm disappointed and taking my money elsewhere.

The only thing I don't like is their regular polish doesn't last very long on my toes which it has never been a problem before when I use regular polish on my toes on other salons. You can call and make an appointment or you can walk in and wait to be serviced. They don't have that many pedicure chairs so if you have a group you should call ahead. Just had a gel manicure here hours ago and already trying to find a place to get it fixed. The woman who did the manicure was very personable, nice. But that doesn't make up for the terrible polish job. A gel removal and new gel application took 1.5 hours. Can't even contemplate being their for another 1.5 hours to fix this mess. Go elsewhere if you're looking for relaxation and a decent polish. read more

Well, this place definitely underrated. This salon was super clean and well organized. They have great chairs with plenty of space. Those chairs were new and really comfortable.
